The Next Custom Gift is not just poorly managed — their actions appear deliberately deceptive and potentially illegal. After I cancelled my subscription via their own system, they continued to charge me month after month. When I contacted them repeatedly, I only received automated replies with no resolution.

They have violated:

The EU’s legal 14-day right of withdrawal,

Basic consumer protection laws.

Even after admitting their cancellation system was broken, they still failed to stop the charges or issue refunds. This is not a simple oversight — it points to a business model built on ignoring legal obligations and exploiting international customers.

I have filed formal complaints with my bank, the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, and international authorities. This company operates in a way that strongly resembles subscription fraud and consumer rights violations.

Terrible company. Does not honor 30-day return guarantee and will repeatedly charge you every month despite saying they've cancelled your subscription..this is even though I made a one-time purchase and was never informed I was enrolled in a subscription (Organic Extract Supplement).

Scam. Forcing subscriptions, not allowing cancellations.

I just love the pic on the front (looks like me in cartoon form), the beautiful feel of the book itself. It is made really well.

I ordered two of these books for my daughter and granddaughter. I love the workmanship and the personalization. My daughter was impressed at how they captured their looks. I started my granddaughter's book with a few favorite recipes and as a newlywed and avid cook she is thrilled to be able to add to it.

I absolutely love the cookbook. It was a Christmas gift for my daughter who is a big-time baker. I was really excited to give it to her because I knew she would love it and the neat thing about it is everything will be in her handwriting so as the years to come as she passes the boat down to someone else, it will all be her handwriting and her recipes.

Getting the company to send the order to Trinidad & Tobago was a challenge. Eventually it arrived. Also, I ended up spending an additional $6.99US ($48.93TT) due to your issue about not having a Postal code and sending it to a Canadian address. Eventually the item arrived in Trinidad.
