Empathetic, Measured, Intelligent
I approached The Dementia Service and asked them to think slightly outside the box with our request. They listened, worked out what I needed and directed me to a very knowledgeable psychologist. Dr Pounds was excellent, fantastic attention to detail, very analytical and has helped to explain the specifics of my son's complex needs in greater detail. Thoroughly recommend, thank you!

From the very first contact we found the service to be informative and easy to understand. The nurse asked questions in a way my husband could understand and this was very much appreciated. The Consultant was extremely thorough and we understood most of the feedback back and we could ask any questions which was very helpful. We would recommend this to families who are going through a tough/unimaginable time.

Experiencing difficulties with my…
Experiencing difficulties with my elderly mother the local GP practice being more than useless, it was great to be able to speak to someone who fully understood my position and worries and expedited the full diagnosis of dementia and we as a family can support and now have measures in place to take care.

Fast service. Excellent support. Thoroughly recommended.
Fast service. Clearly structured. Thorough information collection and clear reporting. Fantastic support even after all the paid-for services are delivered - for example, immediate response to email enquiries, and excellent cooperation with other health agencies. It feels like they're involved in, and that they care about, your personal journey.
I have no experience of similar services to compare them with but I definitely recommend them.

Excellent service from beginning to end. The Dementia Service provided a timescale for every part of the process and stuck to it which was extremely reassuring. Patient care all through the 20 or so days was second to none and I was encouraged to ask questions if I had any concerns. If you are worried about yourself or a loved one, I thoroughly recommend the Dementia Service.

A 'no dementia' diagnosis brings great relief, well worth the assessment cost..
Family concern prompted seeking an assessment for possible dementia. After all the worry, the diagnosis was that my wife did not meet the criteria for dementia but she was diagnosed with Mild Neurocognitive Disorder. What a relief! To be told this made the Assessment worth every penny it cost.

Totally amazing service would always recommend
Received an excellent service from start to finish, were always there at the end of the phone for any questions that I may of had or support that I needed. Received a thorough examination which was quick and efficient and the final report was well written, detailed and easy to read.
