A rapid and comprehensive diagnosis
Having benn told it would take at least twelve months to get an analysis through the NHS, we decided to get a private assessment and chose the Dementia Service. Over a two week period they conducted an in depth analysis with everything except the Brain scan being carried out either at home or over the computer. We now have an in depth analysis and my wife is already taking a recommended medication. The whole experience was well coordinated and all the people we conversed with were very friendly and professional.

Friendly helpful and professional from start to finish. The service was so comprehensive including such detailed history gathering blood Tests and an MRI scan which meant we could get a diagnosis and get a care plan agreed quickly.

Completely professional and value for money
Completely professional and could not have been more supportive of my mum and the family throughout the entire process. Communication was clear, precise and swift. Everything laid out at the start, especially the timeline, was kept to and everyone we had dealings with gave the necessary time and support, nothing was rushed or too much trouble. Exceptional service from start to…
Exceptional service from start to finish. My mum was very wary of accessing medical services as she has never needed them before. After years of experiencing symptoms of dementia, we decide to seek a diagnosis due her worsening condition. We were told exactly what was happening. All services/teams were so professional and friendly putting Mum & Dad at ease. A diagnosis was made and although it isn’t good, we all now have peace of mind knowing and can plan her future care. I would like to Thank you all. If anyone is hesitating to pay for this service don’t. It’s worth every penny. The communication was brilliant.

Outstanding service
From the first initial phone call to getting the results took less than 5 weeks, the service we received was outstanding and everything was explained and easy to follow, emails were answered immediately and all the staff were polite understanding and very knowledgeable.
The whole journey was stress free and took a huge amount of pressure off the family and my dad as it could have taken 9-12 months to get our diagnosis.
We were luckily in a position to be able to pay for this and it was worth every penny, so I can’t recommend the dementia service enough.

A great service
The whole process was professional and straightforward. My mum had a thorough comprehensive assessment and tests with friendly professionals .… We got my mum‘s diagnosis within weeks… Staff at the dementia service were very helpful with any queries I had….

Excellent Service
We have been very impressed at the comprehensiveness and speed of the assessment process, the clear information provided throughout the process and the responsiveness of all of the team. There has also been flexibility to include test results we already had, to avoid unnecessary appointments and also flexibility to arrange appointments to best suit our needs. A very quick and fully comprehensive…
A very quick and fully comprehensive service. We had all the various tests and interviews within 3 weeks together with the results. Apart from the MRI all done in the comfort of our own home. The staff are very helpful and everything is explained in great detail. A definite 10 out of 10 service.
