The CV Guru Omdömen

Bespoke CV Service
I found Sean and the CV Guru team really helpful and responsive. From initial submission of my current CV version, it took only a few days to return a reworked draft, a full overhaul and repackaging of the document. I really appreciated the update on changes, why they were being made, and tips on style and focus. Sean kept in touch throughout, and only moved to complete the LinkedIn profile update and Cover Letter work once the CV had been prepared. Communication throughout was prompt, and I was really pleased with the end result.

Efficient and expert service. James was very accommodating, especially as I asked for a fast turnaround with specific requirements in order to apply for a role. very pleased with the results. Will use again and will definitely recommend.

Vicki was very prompt, helpful, and efficient. Very pleased with my CV.

My CV was out of date and really needed a sorting out as to what was relevant and what was not. Vicki helped to reconstruct my CV from the CV stencil I provided and transformed my life experiences into a concise, easy to read and professional format, highlighting my skills and talents, whilst offering advice on omitting elements that may be seen as abstract to the overall image I wished to create. Overall very happy with the outcome of the CV, Covering letter and LinkedIn documents and would be more than happy to work with Vicki and the CV Guru again should I ever need to! Thanks again Vicki!

Vicki did a great job in polishing up my Linkedin profile. She did her research, which made it such an easy process for me- saving me time!

Vicky refreshed my CV, linked in and cover letter to a great standard and quickly. I'd recommend this company for anyone looking to get their CV updated professionally.

The service and attention from Victoria at CV Guru was both top class, efficient and exceptional. The quality of their work was wonderful and I would highly recommend CV Guru for your next CV.

Vicki was great and patient with my requests, highly recommend this service.

I am a returning customer, after 2 years my CV needed a refresh. Once again I had a seamless experience and very pleased with the outcome! From the beginning to the end (very quick turnaround) the right questions were asked based on my needs and CV built accordingly. I can't praise enough their professionalism. Thank you very much team CV Guru, in particular Victoria and Jen that I had the pleasure to work with. All the very best, everyone!

Excellent professional service, my CV and bio were completed in the short timescales I needed - first class communication with my appointed assistant who was able to complete amendments and tailor my documents as required, showing a great deal of patience, understanding and skill, demonstrating a really good knowledge of what prospective employers would be looking for, also doing her own research on my individual skills to make sure they were recorded accurately.

I would say this service represents good value for money and would definitely recommend CV Guru to others.

Thank you Sean, for all your help with composing my CV, Cover Letter and providing useful tips to refresh my LinkedIn profile. Sean was spot-on with capturing my expertise, that I had acquired over the years and simplifying and improving terminology etc - ensuring I had a great advantage of catching the eye of recruiters / companies. Within a day of updating my LinkedIn and posting my CV. I have received interest from potential companies and hopeful new opportunities should arise in the near future.

In my view, Emma is a Pioneer in her Craft and a Master of creating outstanding ‘CV’s, Cover letters’ and my ‘LinkedIn profile’ giving it the ‘all important human touch’!
I am an advocate of Emma and her team and have used Emma’s services as well as my family for a quite a number of years now and will continue to do so. I believe Emma is adept and skilled at producing professional documents, such as my CV, Cover Letter and more recently my LinkedIn Profile, in essence, she is an ‘Expert’ in her chosen field.
I believe that in an ever competitive market of job searching and in order to succeed at being successful in obtaining a new role, I needed to be current and also to be honest with myself in knowing that I have not got the specialised, niche skills to put together to produce a strong, CV, Cover Letter and LinkedIn Profile which are extremely important to have. This is why I have invested in Emma’s Services and her team that her Company provides to me. It is invaluable and I highly recommend that Emma’s Company to anyone reading my update and in moving forward.
Emma has the ability to adapt any type of role I have moved into, I have temped, worked in both private and over the last six years in Healthcare and whenever I have asked Emma to keep my CV current she has kept it succinct, in the professional format, and showcasing my skills and strengths, knowing what tense to use and how to integrate it into the job I am looking for or to have a more generalised CV, it is a ‘no brainer’ for me to ask for Emma’s professional help here.
I find the job market quite a challenge these days, and Emma helps to keep my profiles current, succinct and sellable. I have had many compliments on my CV and Cover letter from Recruiters and it makes me feel proud of myself to have all my professional details in this important document. It also saves me worrying that I am not current and not showcasing my self well.
I see this Service that Emma provides as an investment, also, as it takes away from my stress of trying to do it myself. It takes away from my worry that I have showcased my skills and strengths, layout of my CV as well as I could have. In addition, Emma and her team, have a quick turn-around in producing these documents which is excellent.
Emma and her team, are friendly, efficient, professional, ‘at the top of their game’ in my view and I count my blessings that I am in contact with Emma and if ever I need to request one of her many Services that she offers. Emma is ‘worth her weight in gold’ in my opinion and a wise investment to have with the services she offers. In addition, she is friendly, helpful, hard-working, professional, and an Expert in her field.
I believe that LinkedIn is of paramount importance and have learned so much since Emma has produced my profile, it is ‘Outstanding’, what I have both learned that I need to do moving forward as well as producing a quality ‘Linked In Profile’ as well as the current, skills, interpersonal skills, aspirations of my job I would like have all been included in my Profile. I also cannot believe how much experience I have, because Emma has showcased this, it is truly amazing and has given me confidence in myself, I am so grateful
Finally, this is my Christmas present to myself this year, and I know it will help me secure my future dream job! I also know that when I ever have movement in my jobs again, Emma will be my first ‘port of call’, as she is ‘Outstanding’ in her most important work that she does and all credit to herself and her team.

THANK YOU FROM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

I have used CV Guru a number of times now. I first used them a few years ago to do a full CV rewrite and then a couple of times to refocus my CV and cover letter when applying for new roles. Emma who has been my CV writer throughout is excellent, from my initial conversation through to CV completion she listened to what I wanted, reviewed the adverts/person spec for the roles i have been interested in and has tailored my CV accordingly, and have now been successful in the last two roles with the CV that CV Guru and Emma have re focused for me. If you are looking for a professional CV writer who takes time to understand what you require from your CV and tailors it accordingly, then you won’t go wrong using Emma and CV Guru.
