My pond was so green that I couldn't see the fish.My neighbour recommended using regular liquid barley straw.I spoke to Matt about this and he suggested installing an Oase Filtral UVC 9000 Pond Filter Kit.This has now been running for a few days and the pond is certainly getting clearer.I am not using the fountain attachment but the flow of water from the pump disturbs the surface of the water which helps aeration and will also stop ice forming in cold weather.

Needed a pump for a project we were doing, I called the pond guy and he advised me on what we needed, we ordered the pump it was delivered promptly and he called me to make sure everything was ok

Clear information and lovely renovation
The service we had was excellent though quite pricey. They came in December as arranged and cleaned the pond and tried to fix the liner however it was decided that was not possible as there was too many leaks. They gave us advice and several quotes offering different solutions so we could choose. I felt the communication was excellent and the workers worked very hard in renovating the pond to a lovely high standard.
I would definitely recommend them again

A superb job!
Really pleased with the pond cleaning service from That Pond Guy. Natalie and Billy arrived right on time and were friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. They took great care with both my ponds, checked with me whenever something wasn’t clear, and made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted.
The ponds look great now — clear water, refreshed, and everything left tidy. You can tell they take pride in their work. I’d happily recommend them for reliable and professional pond maintenance.

Fabulous service from the initial point…
Fabulous service from the initial point of contact right through to appointment day. The team arrived on time, did a fabulous job of cleaning and tidying the pond, repaired pump, replaced fountain and left the site superbly clean. Professional and lovely people to have working with us and a credit to the company. Competitive pricing and no hidden fees. We will certainly be using again for our ongoing maintenance of our pond! Thank you so much for such a fabulous job!

Unreliable Company
I contact this company on Monday, then they told me that they will come and visit on Thur, so I waited and reconfirm them on Wed, then they suddenly told me that they are not coming, so I asked when they will come, they said Fri or Sat, then I keep chasing them when will be the exact date and time, then they never response. I do not know why their review is so good. Base on how they treat customer, the review is not trustable. My feeling is if you do not want to come or do not want to do business, you can say to me, that is no problem, there is no way to waste a person's time. I did ask them if they really interested in the project or not and they replied they are still interested. I really do not know why they have to treat human being like that.

This review is misleading and omits key facts.
Following initial contact, one of our vehicles was involved in an accident. You were informed immediately. Despite this, we still said we would try to fit in a visit that week if logistics allowed and that we would confirm once possible. At no point was a firm or guaranteed appointment confirmed after the accident.
Your frustration is understandable, but it relates to the original builder who left you without a functioning pond for over a year, not our company. Expecting a 3 hour round trip during one of the busiest periods of the year, while we were operating with a vehicle off the road, and then threatening negative reviews when this could not be instantly accommodated, is unreasonable.
Threatening to post negative reviews for a service that was never carried out, and before any site visit took place, demonstrates exactly why we chose not to proceed. Clear communication, patience, and mutual respect are essential for projects of this nature.
Our reputation is built on completed work for genuine customers, as reflected in our extensive 5 star reviews. This review does not represent our service or standards.
Lining good, paving dreadful
Lining - 5 stars. Not so paving.
29th August - Lifting and cleaning the surrounding slabs, relaying the surrounding paving back down and bedding them in as they were originally
20th October - Crazy paving is notoriously hard to lay
29th August - We will bring a selection of new plants with us for you to consider. In one of the pots we will plant water mint, and at the correct depth it should do very well.
17th October - Two purple irises. No mint. I accepted the large amount of cement with stones as opposed to paving which was supposed to go back down because I had no idea how to sort out anything else in the time available. The next morning it was clear how much cement there was and how unappealing it was.
All complaints dealt with (with delays) by email.

We are pleased that you were happy with the new liner installation, although we are sorry you remain disappointed about the paving. To clarify for those reading, the paving was relaid exactly as discussed, and you were consulted several times throughout the day before any mortar was added, while it was still workable, and again afterwards. Each time you confirmed you were happy with the layout and finish. You also kindly tipped the team at the end of the day, which suggested that you were satisfied with the result at that time.
Crazy paving has no fixed pattern or set layout, so it isn’t possible to return every slab to its exact former position. An independent landscaper you contacted separately confirmed that the paving looks good for crazy paving and that relaying it again would not achieve a better result.
We have already offered to return and move a few individual slabs as a gesture of goodwill, but this was declined as your only requested resolution was a complete relift and relay of the entire surround. This goes far beyond reasonable aftercare and would fall outside the original works.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and communication, which is reflected in the hundreds of five-star reviews we have received. Natalie and Bill worked extremely hard on your project and took great care throughout, and we are confident the paving will blend in naturally as it weathers over time.
