Always helpful , quick , they’ve served me well for past 4 years

I have not been well, and really struggled with my self assessment - a couple of messages with Jon and its all sorted, which has definitely taken some of the stress from me at a difficult time.

I was told it would take 3 business days for them to upload my filings 12/06/2026. Still waiting a month later. They have totally ignored my messages and every day I’m getting a penalty charge from HMRC. Paul D’arcy was my supposed assigned accountant. So on top of fines and the payment up front to Taxfix UK, it appears I’m gonna have to pay a reputable accountant to do what these SCAMMERS have not.
Don’t waste your money or time with these crooks. I’ll be contacting Trading Standards soon.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Taxfix's tax consultation service.

I paid £135 for a tax consultation, only for the accountant to fail to attend the appointment without any prior notice or communication. Since then, I have spent several days trying to rearrange the consultation, but have repeatedly run into issues with Taxfix's booking system.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that I have already agreed a suitable time directly with the accountant, and we are both available for the appointment. Despite this, Taxfix has been unable to manually book the consultation due to ongoing technical issues with their system.

The customer service has also been poor. Responses have been slow, there has been a lack of clear communication, and I have repeatedly had to chase for updates rather than receiving proactive support.

Great job! The staff was excellent—professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They made everything easy to understand and provided outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Taxfix to anyone looking for reliable and efficient tax assistance. Thank you very much 👍

Well, the accountant was zero help.
I needed to do my self-assessment and I asked for some information about the expenses I could claim for as a self employed since it was my first time. The woman said she could not tell me this, so I have to go somewhere else to seek the information, gather and filter the information so I could break down my expenses. While she was just expecting me to come with all this plus receipts for her to send it over to HMRC.
When I was asked about submitting the tax return, I queried how much money was estimated to get back as I was not clear about what she meant, she carried on and sent the self-assessment to tell me later that we can amend it, as I was not happy about that.
This service was a waste of money and time, never been so disappointed with an accountant like this before. I wish I knew, and did not let myself be mislead with the good reviews on you website.

If you work as a self-employed this is not the company you want to deal with to pledge your self-assessment.
I got in contact with one of their accountants, the woman could not even tell me what I could claim for.
I’d have to break the expenses down, gather and filter the information on my own, meanwhile she was just expecting me to do this for her to send it over to HMRC, if that’s the case what’s the point of paying someone, I could have done by myself. A complete waste of money and time, they did not even have an online section for complaints. Zero help whatsoever. Worst service ever, never seen anything like before.
The reviews on the website are definitely misleading.
