Easy to Order and set up.
Purchased this for my mother. Was easy to order , delivered quickly and easy to set up. Fortunately Mum hasn’t needed to use it but if she does hopefully will be ok. My only comment is that the contact information form is completed on line but you can not save it , review or update after submission you have to re do a new form which takes some time and several days to make any changes , suggest this is an area for improvement .

Good and helpful
The set up instructions were clear and the person on the line was very clear in their instructions.
I have not had to use the pendant and really hope I don't have to, but it makes me feel safe having it.

Excellent device - perfect for our needs
Pendant was my elderly mother's. Fantastic product with good battery life, via rechargable docking station. This pendant was gps enabled, excellent for our very long garden or when mum was not near the receiver unit. Staff were very responsive, polite and helpful even in the false alarm scenarios (knocking the device). Highly recommended for multiple uses and age groups.

I would anyone with a history of falls to sign up
The two ladies that came to help me up from the floor were very quick both in responding and getting me up into a chair safely.
Sonia - who came a couple of days later to sign me up to the service (I would urge anyone with a history of falls to join) was friendly and professional.

I can’t remember when we engaged this company in my mother’s care.
Possibly 7-8 years ago
Setting it all up was a straightforward affair. They came and set up their equipment and mum initially chose a pendent alarm to wear. Later she switched to a wrist alarm.
None of that really sticks in my mind. I don’t remember any particular problems along the way.
What I really remember, is the people involved with handling the calls.
My mother would regularly fall and be unable to get herself up.
The staff were always so kind and caring, quick to notify a family member and a quiet calm voice for my mother to hear, so she always knew help wasn’t far away.
She is still with us , but is no longer independent. There is not the need for an alarm service anymore.
However, I would like to strongly recommend these wonderful people who work for Taking Care.
They adapt to the changes in my mother’s cognitive decline and have never once failed us.
Well done to the team and many thanks over the years
