Avoiding ear infections *
Dear SurfEars, thank you for keeping my ears safe. I can not be more pleased regarding how easy it was to make my purchase and the speed of the delivery. The product I've used for years after suffering an ear infection while working as a surf instructor sometime in 2018. Unfortunately I misplaced them after a surf session not long ago and thus ordered new pairs. Really happy with the new pocket too that come with the 3.0 version, no more corroded zipper.

Great purchase

Don’t work for swimming, as soon as you submerge they let water in. Might be suitable for surfing but not surfing. Better off with blu tack

SurfEars are designed to fit shallow in the ear canal so that people with Surfer's ear / bone growth can use them without problems. Have you tried all our different sizes of tips? The silicone tip has two possible positions depth wise, so you can choose to wear it further in or out depending on your preference. When you put it on the plastic core part, notice a subtle click which is the first position (deeper) and then the second click which is the second and shallower fitting. The ear tips doesn't have to sit tight against your ear canal to seal properly, it's enough that they just touch the skin all around. The most important is that they seal well enough and keep a pocket of warm air in your ear. If your preference is absolute water tightness, then wear larger ear tips that fit snugly.

heading to 80 from the wrong end with hearing difficulty
body surfing through summer and now winter, no wetsuit, don't like excess paraphernalia when surfing, surfears don't seem to be a problem in any way and do the job efficiently and simply. i'm heading to 80 yrs, (sometimes it feels like from the wrong end), so hearing is an issue. If this is all i need to do to delay hearing loss from surfing, they are perfect.

Excellent product!! But I already lost two of them.. Maybe a way to study something to help owner to avoid loosing them too easily? It was my mistake as if you keep them on you will not loose them. But after two hours in the water you may desire to remove them...and if you hang them just around your neck you will loose them guaranteed

Expensive price and postage for a continuous issue. This is my second repair job on my SurfEars. Great that I don't have to purchase a whole new unit though.

Great silicone quality and fit
Great silicone quality and fit. I'm using them for scuba diving as well as free-diving and had no issues with ear pressure equalization. Zero water in my ears, what a relief. You can hear less with the plugs in but it's not as much as with noise-plugs used for work or sleeping. There are plenty of plug sizes included so you'll for sure find a fit for you. The included pouch is also great for drying them in a relatively clean place, just avoid any sand that might come in trough the holes.
