Original premium was a bargain, bought a brand new Emtb in April this year and had it stolen by 3 thugs who attacked me on my way back from its very 1st service.
Sundays were brilliant and the claim was settled so speedily. I was really happy with their service and have re-insured my brand new replacement with them too.

I had insurance with Sundays for the first year I owned my bike, but was shocked to discover they had been quietly taking payments from me long after that – with no clear communication, no renewal notice, and no confirmation of continuation.

Despite repeatedly telling them I had not received a single renewal email (and checking thoroughly), they insisted emails were sent—even though no evidence was shown that I actually received them. No read receipts, no renewal amount highlighted, nothing to confirm I had knowingly opted in or agreed to a further policy term.

When asked for proof, all I received was a generic screenshot of a so-called renewal email with no specific details. They kept referencing automated systems and avoided any real accountability. Their idea of “proof” is that their email system claims it sent something. That’s not how proper customer service or data compliance works—especially in the insurance industry.

I was denied a refund even though it was clear I had not wanted or agreed to a renewal. I work in contract law and this approach is astonishingly poor—completely lacking in fairness, transparency, or even basic courtesy.

I’ve now cancelled, but only after being charged for a policy I didn’t know existed. If you care about clear communication, transparency, or ethical service—avoid Sundays Insurance. I’ll be sharing this experience widely with my cycling networks and clubs.
