Even though is AI presents a very good analysis of the text and subject. Was useful in picking out bullet points to elaborate on and also correcting some grammar errors.

Opened my eyes to areas in my personal statement that weren't visible at first, really great and I recommend it.
Fantastic insight into what I needed to do next in my personal statement. Really helped after I felt like I had hit a wall in my writing and had no idea where to go next. Would recommend.

Review of Personal Statement Checker
The report was very detailed. Telling me what exactly is good about my essay but more importantly what I need to improve. Its layout was clear with relevant, useful headings and the summary at the end was particularly helpful. One thing that made it stand out was how it didn’t just point out where I wrote something bad and rewrite it for me but told me how to improve it myself. One thing that confused me was, I bought the single one for about £7 I think at first. It gave me an 89 score. Then I was indeed really impressed with it s I bought the 5 pack. But when I made the improvements that the 89 one advised, my score actually went down to a 78. I then worked on this advic, submitting my essay a following two times and got an 84. I just don’t understand how my score dramatically decreased even though I followed the majority of the advice. In addition, the ai checker was flagged on all my submission but I didn’t use ai at all for my writing. Also some of the advice, I felt was false, for example one said majority of successful computer science applicants have to have a Olympiad type thing whereas from my understanding and experience that isn’t the case, that it’s a must. But overall I was happy with the report.

Thank you for this. This review is extremely useful to us!
On the score going from 89 to 78. Each report is an independent judgement, so the engine does not remember what it gave you last
time, so it reads the statement fresh and scores it from scratch. That
means there is real variation between runs, and it means an edit that
fixes one problem can expose another that the vaguer version was hiding. However, that big of a jump is currently being researched.
On the AI check. Detectors have genuine false positive rates, and the
writing they flag most is precisely what a personal statement is:
formal, structured, and edited many times over. That is why our report never gives a pass or fail and never suggests you will be caught. UCAS runs a similarity check, not an AI detector.
On the Olympiad point: No Computer Science course requires one. This is a mistake on the training of our AI and we will look into it promptly to make sure no more statements like that are made.
We are glad our report could help!
Best of luck with your application!

This is really an incredible tool
It has significantly boosted my confidence when writing my personal statement. At first, I was very skeptical about what I actually wanted to write. But using this really helped me be sure of what I needed to write and where my strong areas for improvement are. It pushed my personal statement from a 58 to a 90 out of 100, which I am truly happy about.

Statementory provides some useful…
Statementory provides some useful insight into feedback for the personal statement but you have to be critical with what you decide to take on board as many of the suggestions given wouldn’t have actually contributed to the quality of my statement but instead made it feel more dense. It does review sentences that are too cliche or not contributing much well.

Amazing Website
Amazing review of my personal statement. I was really unsure and not confident about my ps but Statementory gave a detailed report going through all the content and word choice. It even gave me super-curricular advice which was amazing.
