Wish I could award negative stars
If I could give this company negative stars I would. Inconvenient timetables, no connecting buses. In the morning, it takes me 90 minutes to travel 10 miles, across the city. I leave home at 06:40 to catch the 07:00 bus. Usually make the 07:40 connection and get to campus around 08:00. Then 10 minutes walk to my office.
In the evening I finish at 17:00. Workload won't let me leave any earlier. But there are -no- buses going back into the city centre between 17:10 and 17:30. So the first one through is busy and stopping everywhere. That means I miss my onward connection at 18:00. Just. By 1 or 2 minutes. The depot which serves the outer areas around the city seems to think one bus every 30 minutes is sufficient until 18:30. So I'm waiting in the city centre for 28 minutes. In all weathers. I eventually arrive back home at 19:15.
There is no direct bus from my home area, despite the campus where I work being the second largest employer after the university. So I'm out of the house for nearly 13 hours every day. For a standard work day of 7.5 hours. If the timetable planners could just move the connecting bus on by 5 minutes, or provide more buses to the campus at the start and end of the working day, this would help. But seemingly, no dice.

Shit, disgusting, piece of shit service that should be defunded.
Missed my emergency medical appointment today, because the driver showed up late and was not prepared to leave on time and then the bus had an issue which needed an engineer.
If the driver was prepared and on time, this issue could have been resolved and I could have made my appointment.
If there had been any kind of update, I could have tried finding another method.
Instead when the bus driver showed up late, he stood on the phone, telling the person he was 10 minutes late, while I waited to hopefully buy a ticket.
Honestly cannot believe how disgusting this service is.
Not the first time. I should have known better to rely on them.

I am not one to complain .I am 76 and not in great health But i will not stop trying with out complaint, A dear old lady of over 80with two legs that need medical attention as she has hardley any skin on them.She is one of the bravest people i know tried two get on a bus from Capel le Ferne to st pauls church in Dover this morning for ash Wensdays mass.The driver a lady would not lower the bus to help her get on board.There is a plate they use for weelchairs but not to help people incase they slip that is understanderble. The lady finds that the plate is the best way if the driver helps her.This driver was adamant even thow others have helped in the past,she was rude and could of lowered the bus.The puplic are some times difficult some time i know. But this lady knows if she stays in all the time she will die.Please try a little harder to put themselves out to make life a littl easyer for such dear people ?

I use the loop in Thanet for a short journey to work,I work in a care home, the fare went up from £1.90 to £2.70 overnight, it’s now cheaper to use the train, shame I can’t.
The service is unreliable and it’s not unusual for 2 or 3 to come together.
Yesterday I was waiting in the freezing rain and wind for one hour, this is ridiculous, the company obviously don’t care about their customers.
The drivers are usually miserable and unfriendly too, I have been ignored when I have spoken to them.
The worst public transport service I’ve ever known.
A credit to your service
The 600 bus driver (young, dark haired man on 31/01/26 about 15.00) saw us running for the bus, a distance from the stop and he waited for us. He was friendly, welcoming and courteous to other users of the road (stopping to allow an elderly lady with a stick cross a busy road safely), what a credit to your service.
If you like not being able to look out the window, love diesel fumes and a bus that shakes your bones, then the Sherwood Arrow is for you

This has to be the worst bus service in history! Buses that never run according to their schedule, 9 times out of 10 they are usually late or don't even bother to turn up at all, especially if waiting for a bus at night, god forbid you might want to actually be on time for work or an appointment! If so then don't rely on Bedford Buses as the service is beyond crap!

Had to cancel an appointment again due to the 10 bus in Gloucester being late again. The services in Gloucester are shambolic and the app is not fit for purpose. Constantly showing the bus is on time then shows it being late and not by a couple of minutes. The transport manager should resign. Dreadful company that needs their contract cancelled. I was on the 63 (Fleet Number 10642 or 3) bus in Newcastle upon Tyne this morning sitting downstairs towards the rear and I could spell a really foul smell coming form behind me, 2 other passengers sitting at the rear of the bus obviously smelt the same as they decided to go and sit upstairs.
4 stops before I was actually due to exit the bus I decided enough was enough and went to get of the bus. Before I did however I advised the bus driver of the issue and he simply waved me away saying it was nothing.

Generally the buses are comfortable and in my area new , many electric. The new electric ones are quiet and when cruising smooth. They can be jerky when accelerating or decelerating.. Many drivers are pleasant and welcoming with a few grumpy and blunt to the point of rudeness. I complained by phone about early running buses on a particular route and was made to feel guilty for complaining. Timekeeping is poor generally on long distance or trunk routes some buses running early esp when the driver is going on a break.Local services are better but frequencies poor esp in evenings and on Sundays.
Really good service
I have been using StageCoach predominately for the past 7 years: from Margate in Kent, to Brighton in West Sussex, Dunfermline in Fife & Carlisle in Cumbria. I have used StageCoach to get to work, go shopping, have days out etc & highly recommend their friendly staff, frequent service & vast net work range.
I am not denyiny there can be delays & cancellations: but what service doesn't?
I really like the Stagecoach app: it is clear on showing me the best buses & ticket prices for my journey. Again, the times are not always acurrate; but working in Edinburgh & travelling from Dunfermline, I find I would rather have some idea than none at all.
I hope the app & bus times can get synced better in the future.

If I enjoyed wasting forty minutes standing in the freezing dark and wet because a bus just decides not to run for the third time this week, I'd rate stagecoach fives stars!
Unfortunately I do value a company actually being able to run the service as advertised. I like staff who are helpful and polite and buses that run on time, or least within acceptable margins. For this reason I'm giving them one star, and only then because zero stars isn't an option. Stagecoach is a disgrace.

I would like to make this zero! I was first in the queue and put my case in the hold, not easy as the area opened already had luggage near the edge, on an X77 Glasgow to Ayr Service tonight and meanwhile everyone else piled on the bus and I was told it was full, couldn’t get on the bus and had to take my case back out the hold! I was hoping the driver’s ability to drive was better than his customer service! I am 67 years of age, had been travelling all day and back to good old Scottish service!
We pay huge money for nothing
We pay huge money for nothing. Most buses are late or do not even turn up, have to catch n.1 to reach wk every day and have to leave home 2 hrs earlier just in case. Just missed 1, the 7.14 am, I turned around the corner, the bus was coming already! It was 5 min early this time, the driver saw me, did not dare stop for me and had to wait half an hr for next one in the cold weather. And some drivers are grumpy and rude too. All in all very poor service
