Splend hire company It’s a disgrace and…

BE WARE OF THESE SCAMMERS at SPLEND
AVOID This company for better and stress free in the future
Anyone thinking of getting a vehicle from Splend please please read my story and others before you sign agreement with Splend
Splend hire company It’s a disgrace and disgusting company
The staff are very helpful but the management is very unprofessional and very rude
Please people save your money from the trouble in the future with Splend as I’ve been with them for over a year despite ups and down with Splend and on the renewal date of the insurance document which splend supposed to provide despite requesting Splend to provide insurance in or else my app will be block by Uber I was assured that I will receive the insurance certificate on the same day it’s expires but unfortunately I did not get anything and it was weekends I was out of work the all week untill the following week had a call from Splend and I explain the situation but they did not want to here anything except for their payments even I was advised by Splend to recover my loss of earnings from VW manufacturing company as I was driving their brands of vehicle
I was left out of work for two weeks of their negligence and instead of solving the issue they are demanding to pay for the week I was out of work , at the end they took the car without given me any notice along with my all the personal belongings well as some cash phone holder dash camera everything been stolen from the vehicle and now Splend denies of anything been in the vehicle as a basic phone holder phone charger seat cover everything is missing and no one’s knows about the missing items
Please everyone make sure you read all the documents before you sign the agreement as most of the agreements copy they won’t give it to you but they will get you to sign all the documents to save them self from future conflicts
Don’t trust them what they say
All it matters for Splend to make money
How ever they can
If they have to lie the they will lie as they did lie to me from the beginning
Stay a way from SPLEND

Worst thing is that as you can see their response is that they can’t locate files of all the people has complained

Hi Burhan, we could not locate a file for you, please send us a message to hello@splend.com.au so we may review your profile and provide the right level of review to your claim. If your vehicle had been re-possessed it would have been due to a severe breach in a contract. Your personal belongings will be available to collect. As for the insurance doc claims, all docs are always approved by Uber, it may have been the certificate of inspection that we rely on the customer to obtain and send to us so we can upload on your behalf, if this was not actioned then that would fall on the operator off the vehicle as we don't have that car in possession

I must express my deep disappointment with Splend

I’ve been with this company over a year and their service for the PCO driver is very poor. I will not recommend to any PCO drivers to take any car from them. The customer service is the worst ever customer status. I’ve seen the managers has zero responsibility to answer the questions And when you have a issue there are not ready to help it will take you a month and month to go through I had an issue raised and I have not got a reply for six months. I have sent more than 10 emails than a lot of calls. Speak with two different managers and every single customer was telling me we will help you we will do this will do this. Nothing been done for six months yet.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Avoid Splend!

I was initially drawn to Splend by their seemingly fantastic deals online. However, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It all started when I found a great deal on their website, but when I tried to book it, I was told that the option was no longer available. Suspiciously, even a month later, they are still advertising the same deals online.

Despite my reservations, I decided to proceed and ordered a car. They took my payment and promised a courtesy car until my vehicle arrived. Of course, the courtesy car was the only one left, which seemed odd but I accepted it, thinking it would only be for a couple of weeks.

Two weeks later, I received an email with the “great news” that my car was ready. I booked an appointment, taking a day off from my 9-5 job. On the way to the appointment, a Splend representative called to inform me that the car was not ready. I was understanding human can make mistakes even tho i would have been nice to check as im sure its part of their job and rescheduled for the following week, taking another day off. Yet again, just before the day of the appointment, they rescheduled to the next week via a sms using someone's name then resending with my name, didn't even bother to call me.

Anyway I was Unable to take another day off, I requested a weekend appointment, which they confirmed. On the day of collection, halfway to the location with my family, I received a call from splend saying the car hadn’t arrived. This was the third time they had cancelled last minute.

I am beyond frustrated with Splend’s poor customer service and lack of professionalism. How can a company operate like this? It seems no one checks their job roles or ensures customer satisfaction. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and I would advise anyone considering Splend to look elsewhere.

Splend have always been very attentive…

Splend have always been very attentive and professional when it comes to their customer service. Their team of great staff like Ilias, Simon and all of the others staff members go above and beyond to help with any situation and always have a solution to every need. They are way worth more than a 5 star rating. They also have a wide variety of well known brand EV vehicles that suit your needs. After one year of driving the Tesla Model Y, I am more than satisfied.

I must express my deep disappointment…

I must express my deep disappointment with Splend. I have been a loyal customer for several years, and with only two years left to complete my contract and fully own my car, it is disheartening to see it come to this.

My vehicle was due for a PCO inspection, which it unfortunately failed due to some scratches that were not the result of any accidents. Despite this, they chose to terminate my contract rather than allow me to pay the excess and continue with my payments. I would understand if there had been an accident involved, but terminating a contract over scratches feels excessively harsh.

What hurt me the most was the lack of empathy from the staff, who simply said, "We're going to take the car back, mate," without any consideration for my situation. Even after introducing four new customers to their service, it seems they have shown no mercy. This experience has truly left me feeling let down.

Scum would be a compliment

Scum would be a compliment - If you call them they say that department does not take calls and too email them. You email them and they don't reply. 3 weeks still no responses for an accident they caused and are liable for

I don't recommend SPLEND to anyone

I don't recommend SPLEND to anyone. They charged me 1500 for damage and loss waiver fee even if the accident was not my fault. Be aware of this company. Not really professional at all.

Hi Tsolmonbaatar, thanks for your feedback. The damage and loss waiver is explicitly detailed as part of the contract you signed when you joined Splend, please see the following details:

"» IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE LOSS & DAMAGE WAIVER FEE OF $1500.00. THIS IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE COVERAGE. THIS IS PAYABLE WITHIN 24 HOURS REGARDLESS OF FAULT. IF THIS PAYMENT IS NOT MADE, YOU MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL COST OF THE INCIDENT INCLUDING 3RD PARTY COSTS."

We hold on to the damage and loss waiver until the incident is settled, of which, if you are proven to be not at fault then it will be released back to you, this is all clearly laid out in the contract. If the accident involves a third party and the third party cannot be found or contacted then you will still be liable for the damage and loss waiver. It's important to make sure in the event of incidents you record all the details of the event including any known third parties so that you can ensure liability does not fall on you when you have reason to believe you are not at fault.

WORST COMPANY EVER!

My experience actually goes back to 13th July 2023.
Splend's current rating is not accurate, what the company does is, the day a driver signs up, Splend gets the driver to write a review, straight away, they have a QR code at the ready once the driver has completed the paperwork, asking the driver to scan the QR code and write a review of their experience with the company that day. Splend is very cunning in the way they take payment, they take payment 0:00 Wednesday night / Thursday morning, if for whatever reason Splend was not able to take the payment at that time, they charge the driver £19 bare in mind the day's very young for Splend to collect payment that day for that week. If you get a PCN, the only time you'll know about it, is when you see Splend has already charged you £15 for the PCN, if you get 10 PCN's in a month, Splend will never contact you to find out why you're getting so many PCN's, all Splend is interested in is charging the driver £15 for each ticket, which they call admin fee, many times when you need to contact Splend, they'll have you waiting until the phone cuts off If you're involved in a non-fault accident, Splend tells the driver they must pay the excess. There is many companies to Rent or Rent-to-Buy from, Splend is the worse of the worse, stay clear of this company.
