Spectrum were quite good to deal with. Quick response which was great but the only drawback was getting someone over the phone as it took hours to reach them.

A human company. You speak to someone they question your claim but in the right way. In a way that shows that they're not trying to get out of paying something they're just wanting to pay what is appropriate. We always recommend them. A very decent British company. Highly recommend them.
A company who actually cover you when…
A company who actually cover you when they say they do when you take the policy out. They actively supported both my claims and paid out. I would insure myself with them in future without hesitation even if i didn't need to claim due to way i have been positively treated in this policy and claims.

Recently, the engine light came on in my car, and I was very worried since I had only recently purchased it. Luckily, I have a Spectrum Warranty. I contacted your team, and I was so relieved with the support I received.
They immediately helped me by providing the number of the best garage near my area. The garage was extremely professional, treated my car as if it were their own, and fixed the issue properly. Now my car is running smoothly again, and I am very grateful for your quick and reliable service.

My claim and the go ahead to repair was dealt with professionally and dealt with very quickly. Similarly the claim was settled shortly after sending in the invoice for the repair

After a very stressful and worrying…
After a very stressful and worrying experience after breaking down and being without a car, Spectrum did help me along the way with explaining each step to do, how to make a claim for damage to my car and how to go about it each step. Just got the call from Emily in the customer service who was lovely, helpful and reassuring explaining they can cover most of the cost for work done at my chosen garage. Which is a big relief, you can use your own garage you trust just make sure you follow the instructions given. Overall happy and good service. I found it difficult to find a garage who will work being payed via Spectrum, but if you say to your garage you’ll pay them and claim it back with Spectrum they are much more willing to do work. Hope that helps someone :)
absolute shambles start to finish zero stars awarded
absolute shambles start to finish. i will NEVER use this company again and will be purchasing a warranty from elsewhere in future. bought the car Apr 25 car broke in Jul 25 rung spectrum and was told to find a garage to do the diags and repairs myself. 15 phone calls i made to different garages and not one of them would deal with spectrum. in the end went with a garage spectrum recommended. First mistake made! 14th car went for diags ( been without a car for a week at his point) recieved a phone call from the garage some hours later stating it needed a full new gearbox and evac pipe looking at 6.5k bill after diags, told them to pass it onto spectrum. 15th had a phone call from spectrum asking me to ring the garage and chase paperwork up!! that was the last correspondence i had with spectrum. fast forward to 12/8/25 still not heard anything, still no car and no offer of hire car ect. absolute joke over a month my car has been off the road with no updates, nothing of any kind just left in the dark wondering what the hell is going on. i will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

In the contract, it says: “Reasonable diagnosis charges will be covered where this forms part of a valid claim under this warranty.” But they don’t except to cover anything. They indicate the reasonable fee whatever they want. Totally scam!
