Hamid Ali is the man!
I’m giving the 5 stars for Mufaz for the initial onboarding proactiveness (he was responding in less than 10 mins each time to detailed questions) and then Hamid Ali once I was in the UAE. Hamid was so efficient in facilitating my medical and biometrics on the ground — he knew all the people at the facilities, he knew the process well, it was all fantastic to see. Thank you Hamid bhai for all the great assistance — terrific skill and customer service.

SPC has some of the worst customer…
SPC has some of the worst customer service of any free zone I have ever come across (I tried many). After payment, there will be zero help on anything. If there is a mistake in your original application (e.g., incorrect license activity chosen), the application will be stuck forever. You can't change it yourself, and the SPC team is somehow unable/unwilling to make the needed changes even after weeks of phone calls and emails - leaving the application paid, but stuck for eternity. If you request a refund (since the application was never approved), you won't get it. I cannot express how much I detest SPC free zone.

If it was possible to give a negative star i would give…avoid this freezone at all cost… they are good to you until you pay them…once you pay them you are on your own…The sales representative will not pick your calls once you have paid them… once you pay for the license u r trapped….

Mr Hamid Ali got me to medical exam
Mr Hamid Ali got me from my hotel very much on time, was waiting outside for me already - very helpful with me in awheelchair, he helped me in and out the car, stored my wheelchair well and got it again ready for me, pushed me to the medical examination and made sure i get special VIP treatment, brought me back home safely and was a very friendly and nice person to talk to all the time. I am highly satisfied and would rate him the best rating possible.

They can get it right but unfortunately not first time
This is now an amended review. Its a shame because if they had done at the beginning what they did at the end it could have been a great experience. Following my 1 star review i was finally contacted by someone from SPC -Kevin Mendonca who proved to be really helpful. its just such a shame that you have to leave a poor review before anyone wants to help. The poor customer service is what lets them down. Not responding to messages on whatsapp or email and when they do everytime its a different person. Our main issue was a rejected photo which isnt actually SPC's fault but all they do is send you a rejection and the guidelines rather than help and when you asked for assistance they just say read the guideline. Finally i found a phone number and the person explained that the photo was fine it just needed to be a higher quality -within minutes it was fixed, that had taken 4 days of stress, rejections, extra unnecessary purchases when on day one someone could have contacted us and said you need to do this. Once Kevin got involved it was all solved the photo went through, the biometrics were booked the next day and we had the documents a few hours later.
