Very happy with the service and product. Emailed the inquiry and the sales person (Lloyd) came back to me the very next morning. Discussed my needs and had two options and prices very quickly. As we were in desperate need of the product Solargain managed to squeeze me in within the week. Fantastic service.

Solargain was very efficient and helpful through the entire process from planning to installing. Tom was able to take me through everything so I understood the system as it was planned, Lauren was always helpful in getting the installation booked and the install guys were on time, clean and really friendly. Even some late changes due to site requirements were not a problem. I'd definately recommend them.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Solargain from our first enquiry. Their product knowledge was first class, and we discussed the various options making our final decision fact based. The service team regularly kept us informed on installation timelines and what to expect and the installation team were highly professional. We couldn't speak highly enough of everyone we dealt with, and we would recommend Solargain to any homeowner or business considering installing a solar system.

Leighton was our sales rep and has outstanding customer service, not a stone left unturned. He was very organised and helpful. We were very impressed with him. The people who installed the unit and inverter were excellent, thorough, neat and tidy and explained how the system worked. There has not been one thing go wrong with this purchase from start to finish.

After lots of research I found the iStore to be a very efficient and quality replacement for my solar HWS. Called David @ Solargain and within a week or two their team of installers had installed the system (cleaner than I could imagine) and showed me how it works.

I have used them to install my solar panels, inverter, house battery, hot water system as well as smaller elec work. Always professional.

10/10 Would recommend (and use) this expert company with a LONG term history of success

Very easy to deal with plenty of information fast quote on 6.4kw system and iStore hot water. Install was completed in 3 weeks all in one day. Guys doing the job were professional and careful. Excellent result so far very happy.

Plumber
The plumber was mostly great, he had forgotten one tool he needed and could not complete the drainage bit completely. I was told that this would be taken care of when the panels were installed. My plumber ended up doing this as it had not been completed. The plumber working for you clearly has a better attitude and tidied up after himself.
Electrical work - Mohammed
- poor workmanship - untidy finishes and conduits not vertical or horizontal
- Garbage Scattered all over work site, at all three hot water systems, at the inverter and thrown on ground adjacent to solar panels.
- Food wrappers discarded on the ground
- Lollipop Sticks and wrapper discarded all over the property
- did not bother sweeping inside house and left garbage and sawdust adjacent to the switchboard.
- system was powered on day of the install, 13 days later they returned to do testing and tagged out the system as unsafe. This is completely unacceptable
- Cleaning up after the electrical work took three hours. It is absolutely disrespectful for your staff to do this and for it to be treated so flippantly.
Electrical Final
- Final electrical testing. Over an hour late to arrive and not notified of delays until after the appointment time. Your staff completed testing then removed Tag on System and dropped it on the ground

Communication.
Installer spoke directly to my electrician about the "issue" at no point was I contacted and informed that there was an issue to look at. Given this was determined by your staff I expect notification of issues it is not acceptable that your staff direct contractors employed by me to do tasks.

I then had to contact solargain to find out what was going on. At this point I learnt that an issue was found when Mohammed was still onsite but the test was not repeated. Again this is a poor attitude from your staff and reflects poorly on Solargain.

Correspondence received has been mostly about payment not rectifying the problem. Seeking payment for a system that is clearly not functional is extremely frustrating. I suggest it shows that Solargain is more interested in money that providing safe operational systems

Customer service:
The work done is quoted at $19000 approx. with Solargain also receiving the STC's increasing this further. At this value I expect far better service than that received, at the very least Solargain could have actually investigated the cause of the Fault Loop test failure. Your staff actually worked in the roof space in the same spot that the fault was found.

After payment was made it took a week to acknowledge it had been received. The amounts involved while not huge are not insignificant to a family budget.

Finally upon final testing they expected me to sign another document indicating there were no issues and all payments made. The wording implied that Solargain was covering themselves.

Professional team, excellent service, and great quality installation and cleanup. Very happy with my decision.

SolarGain installed 28 panels on my roof. They handed over the system on 24/5/22. During handover, they did not explain how the monitoring of the system work and any details of the solar system installed.
After 2 wks unable to monitor the system, I had to call Solargain. They sent out their technician twice before enabling my access to the monitoring system. Then it was noted that although the monitoring was on, the panels themselves were off and I had to inform this to Solargain. They then sent the technician gain to correct this.
Since then 2 panels are still not working. I have had to contact SolarGain again to inform them of this. It is unbelievable that SolarGain after the 3rd callout would not check to ensure the panels are all working before signing off on their job.
It is now July and SolarGain (Joel Pyzer) has avoided my call and still not sorted the issue.
Solargain seem quick to take payment but is very slow to solve their own problems when the system is not working.
Appalling service from the whole customer service team, who do not take responsibility and keep passing the buck. When you ask to be put to the manager, they seem to use delaying tactic and state they will call you back (but that never happens).
I would not recommend SolarGain.

We are happy with the information, customer service and support given to us. The process can be quite daunting, when choosing solar panels and the associated company to install them. Also Solargain supported us professionally, when there was a minor issue with the inverter connection. All in all, it was a positive experience and it's very useful being able to see online, on a daily basis, the usefulness of solar power in a domestic situation.

We just had a 19kW system installed and Solargain helped to make the process easy right from the start, dealing with Paul Harris who answered all our questions, was very knowledgable and always contactable along with the rest of the team made the choice to go with Solargain easy. Everything went super smooth and I would highly recommend Solargain for your Canberra solar.

Very professional. Neat install and good clean up before leaving site

Firstly, they lied to us about the installers being staff members of the Solargain company. The installers completely reworked the installation plan without any heads-up, completed the structural work then came for a signature before putting the panels on. Very bad communication. They completely stuffed the inverter mounting and put it on the wrong wall so it is now a terrible eyesore. We've had nothing but problems with their inverter not communicating with the app which has so far not been fixed. Said they would contact me in their response to my review and I never heard back from anyone.

Got a quote from SolarGain and was pressured to sign to avoid a "price rise" 2 Months later nothing, but a letter saying prices are going up 20 to 25% and would I like a re-quote. This is despite us signing and accepting a quote. This is the most unethical company I have ever delt with. The don't respond to calls, emails. They have lied to me and a friend who also got a quote for systems costing over $10K we are both looking for genuine companies.
