We have been offering this service for over 40 years now and during this time, have conquered thousands of very challenging scenarios that has built us a large client base of customers and retailers nationwide. Founded in 1972, our business began with domestic and commercial upholstery, re-branding in 2001 as Furni-Tech and since merging with Vale Upholstery to bring you Sofa Access. Our sister company, Furni-Tech, specialises in domestic and commercial upholstery,leather repairs, furniture repairs and refurbishment. They have built an impressive reputation from consistent quality of workmanship, making them one of the leading furniture repair specialists in the South East. Recognising a gap in the market for those struggling to fit their new furniture into their home, we provide a professional service that helps you avoid the hefty cancellation charges you are faced with by retailers. DFS Sofa delivery guy: This sofa bed won't go in and you won't even be able to get it in by someone taking it apart.
Furni-Tech team: This is no problem at all, this is actually one of the easier sofa beds to take apart!! Should be about a 45 minute job.
Absolutely brilliant service from the Furni-Tech team. They came to my house at 7am, so could do the job before I went to work, and took apart our sofa bed and moved it upstairs and rebuilt it as it was too big to get upstairs.
The sofa is now sitting upstairs and thanks to their expertise is probably built stronger than before!!
Edit: We've just had the guys come round and dismantle our arm chair for the same room (when John Lewis said it couldn't be done!), once again exemplary service and were in and out within 20 minutes!!

Top Job!
I could not recommend these guys highly enough! No huffing and puffing, just came in and got on with the job. Super polite, courteous and friendly. Great value. Will have them back again to take the sofa apart when we move! Thanks again Lewis and Dave.

A confident, friendly and efficient service. The sofas remained good as new at the end of the visit. I would happily recommend team Lewis to anyone!

Efficient and completed with care
Was worried about the two large sofas getting through, Lewis was very reassuring and efficient at getting everything done and dusted in an hour, also the care taken to protect the carpet was much appreciated!
