Very poor. Charged me £45 to wipe down the soles of what were pretty much brand new Dior sneakers. Also, a pretty rude guy on the desk at the selfridges London branch.

Stay clear.

Please avoid if can. Handed in a pair of 2 week old Chanel trainers which I asked to be cleaned in one specific area in the Glasgow Trongate branch. Other than the area I asked them to clean they were in perfect condition, white. I also handed in a pair of Alexander McQueen trainers. They state they will send you a text when ready for collection. Never ever got the text, had to phone continuously to chase. When I finally went in to collect the trainers, I went in with my colleague during a lunch hour, the man was still working on them and fired them in a bag along with a pair of Alexander McQueen trainers and of I went back to work. My biggest regret was not taking them in daylight to inspect them. When I came home after work and closely inspected them they had turned my chanel trainers yellow. The mesh all over the trainers was now yellow!!!!! I couldnt comprehend why they had touched the rest of the trainers when I specifically told them the area that needed work on. When I took out the Alexander McQueens they had put another pair that weren't even mine in the bag, completely wrong size and older worn leather. To my horror I had to wait till 9am the next morning to call them , 15 hours later after I inspected them. They told me to come in. When I went back the man said he wouldn't have handed me back the trainers if they were yellow and tried to blame me for them turning yellow overnight. I told him they were in the box overnight and that they were not touched. Just an excuse to pass blame for them ruining my £1070 trainers. They had realised they had given me the wrong Alexander MQueen trainers, and I never even got a sorry for their mistake. I asked them to fix an eyelet on one of the trainers and received them back still loose on the verge of coming off. Of course, I left the now yellow trainers to be rectified and was told the boss who was the one who worked on them would call me to discuss. Off course i never got that call. In total I have spent about 6 hours traveling to this shop back and forth and spent over the price to clean them in parking tickets. On the final last day of going to the shop I believe one of the bosses were there, again not an apology for them ruining my trainers nor for handing me back trainers that weren't even mine. The customer service is absolutely abysmal and now have to go to another company to try salvage the botched job they have done. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have photos of both trainers before and after.

In response to your effort to blame me for ruining my trainers. Your 7 mins of me on CCTV was actually your worker still working on my trainers. Post your footage and you will see me for a split second looking at the trainers, if I had inspected them throughly I would of noticed the old pair of wrong Alexander McQueens you tried to pap me off with. The same Alexander McQueens I explained to get the eyelet fixed which you lie about again. I've tried to get you to contact me for weeks and now you magically appear. You fail to also mention you offered me vouchers for the whole mess you have done to my trainers. Bottom line is you have ruined my new trainers and can't admit it. I handed one little section to get cleaned and you took it upon yourself to use whatever you have used on the rest of them and ruined them. I declined your vouchers as I wouldn't send anyone to your shop. Lies upon lies for a botched job and a pair of trainers I can now no longer use.

I have been using SneakersER over a year. Their products are top quality. They helped me to mix special colours for my shoes. They were always explained me the cleaning or painting processes in details. In London, I couldn’t find a better place and service. Most of the cobblers or sneakers repair places do not mix the colours or provide information. If you are looking for a special colour or cleaning products for your shoes. I would highly recommend them.

Why can I not give 0 stars? absolutely abysmal service and can not understand how they ended up providing their ‘services’ in Selfridges.

Brought in my slippers for a full work-up,

They made me wait 4.5 months!!!!!! to receive them back. In the meantime they lied numerous times stating they are ready and shipped or to be shipped, while it was clear they didn’t.

At least I supposed that after 4.5 months I would receive great quality work, unfortunately I did not.

Sole was supposed to be replaced, they didn’t, just a heel attachment.

Clasps were kept in damaged state, nothing done.

They ‘repainted’ the logo with what I assume can only be Typp-ex and is completely wonky and uneven.

For £140 paid, 4.5 months wait and then I am just being ignored is in no way acceptable, avoid, avoid, AVOID at all costs. bring your shoes to Harrods for repair, the professionals are there- not at Sneaker Er.

I am left with £140 out of pocket and £350 Valentino slippers that I can toss out.

AVOID.

Sold trainers to shop in Glasgow still awaiting payment, do not recommend.

Probably the best concession at Selfridges, they helped me find the right products to make my trainers look brand new.

Additionally, they provided advice on which products to purchase and suggested waiting for certain items

Such a shame. Have used Sneakerser in the past and found the results satisfactory. Unfortunately this time the service was terrible. Waited 3 weeks to get a pair back that looked like nothing had been done. Then had to watch a girl try to fix them in front of me using sandpaper. Avoid this company at all costs and just buy Jason Marxx and do the job yourself.

I went to the Selfridges store as I had recently bought a pair of nike dunks (not from Selfridges) which were poor quality. I was greeted by Matt and Esmee who were lovely! They really spent the time to help me even though they were extremely busy and sorted out the issue. I also had another issue which wasn’t my main concern but they still insisted to try and sort it out for me. They were soo friendly and I would definitely recommend!

Should really be able to leave a zero star- avoid at all costs! I paid £120 each for three pairs of shoes to be resoled, reheeled and polished, and took a bag for a friend to be repaired. Only one of the shoes were done correctly, the bag wasn't there when I went to pick it up- thankfully it did arrive and my friend collected it. I complained to this company when I realised that they have not resoled the other pairs of shoes only reheeled them and I was told I hadn't paid for that service. I specifically took them because I'd actually had small holes appear in the soles and they needed doing. I would never ever use this company or recommend them to anyone. The service is awful, customer service non-existent.

Picked up my shoes to find they were still dirty. Was told the dried mud will keep coming through which makes no sense at all. As I could clean it with water. They cleaned a tiny part of the shoe and the rest was how I left it. Really bad service. Also got charged the premium rate and basically got the same dirty shoe back. Go to Jason markk instead. You get much much better results. Really disappointed in the service sneaker ER provide.

Terrible experience! Thought this was supposed to be an excellent new concept. So I took 3 very different footwear to be cleaned. Very lightly Dirt-stained ASICS trainers, UGG suede boots that just needed a refresh, oliver sweeney blue “worn-look” boating shoes. The trainers being cleaned should have been straight forward as that what the shop promotes as a cote service. They came back exactly the same. There was obvious dirt that could have been removed. I did a Better job with soap & a cloth at home. Worse still it took 3 weeks to be ready instead of 10 days. The suede boots took 6 weeks & looked exactly as I left them with the store. I have since bought suede cleaner on Amazon & did a better job. They say the front of boot was worn down hence the look remaining but in it was dirt that I removed that they didn’t bother to, but I got it cleaner than they did. 6 weeks also to recolour these (deliberately) faded blue boating shoes. Their confidence was high to apply a new blue coat and charged double for it. £90. They came back two tone, totally mismatched the original colour & didn’t coat it in a way similar to the worn look of the shoe so it looked silly. They didn’t even clean the rubber white soles and started doing it in front of us with their own cleaning liquid (alcohol). I bought a bottle and did it at home, like they should have done. The blue dye colouring didn’t matter anyway as it started coming off after 1 outing. So I took it all off, which wasn’t hard to do, so it wasn’t permanent. So £200 after, I did a better job myself on all 3 pairs of shoes. Nice people, useless after-service (they never text you to say it’s done, take 3 times longer than promised), you have to go into the store to repeatedly ask if the shoes are ready & they take weeks and weeks, only to find you’re better off doing it at home. Shame, nice people, nice concept, useless execution. I don’t give the store long before it closes down.

My son took his sacai vapourwaffle to your selfridges store on the 6th of October and was told that they would be ready in 10 day's when he went to collect them they told him that they couldn't find them and when they eventually did they hadn't even been cleaned so he had to wait for over a hour while they cleaned them and charged him £45 absolutely diabolical

Went up to london to get my shoes cleaned was told they would take ten days so i came back on the pick up date to get them only for them to not know they even had the shoe and not cleaned them so had to wait again went back later in the day and the shoe was still dirty finally got home and cleaned them my self waste of £45 and my train fare

Absolutely useless. I left my shoes with them to be treated and returned the next day to be told they’d forgotten. I went back into the city especially to collect them so they completely wasted my time. Buy the products and clean them yourself.

Absolute zero online customer service , & dont even bother trying to sell trainers to them as they only buy at ridiculously low prices.

What a helpful team at SELFRIDGES. I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, I was given top class treatment, and my trainers were delivered to me using expedited delivery as I was going away and needed my shoes.

Matt and his team are to be congratulated for a job well done! Great old fashioned service. Thank you! 👏👏
