Smith Benedict dropped me as a client because their off‑plan insurance ran out. This forced me to pay £1,377 to move to another solicitor and redo all the paperwork from scratch.

None of this was my fault. The right thing to do would have been to refund any fees I had already paid, but no refund was offered. Instead, I was left with extra costs and wasted time.

Very disappointing service.

Three other legal firms I approached for help were only interested in selling me a complete package costing upwards of £1500. These delays were so severe that I had to personally request the developers to extend the timeline for exchanging contracts, causing unnecessary stress and uncertainty in an already complex process.

Despite being referred to them twice, I regret to say that the level of professionalism demonstrated falls far short of expectations. Communication was inadequate, with emails often going unanswered for days, if not weeks.
