I parked brought ticket for 2 hrs stayed 1hr79 min got a ticket Sayed insufficient funds I applied and they said I could pay £20 as I put in wrong reg I gave ticket but it only has the last there Letters on it but I did put it in right tryed to pay it won't let me do emailed them and they havent even answered back only got 7 days left to pay the £20 will never park with there company again they are a disgrace

The local M&S Foodhall is located in a small shopping centre and had, until recently, as I found out, 3 hours free parking. I had parked in the car park for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Two weeks later, I received a Parking Charge Notice for £80. I thought that there had been a mistake, so I went back to the shopping centre to check - yes, they had reduced the 3-hour free parking down to 1 hour, and the small signs had been changed. Why could they not have put up a notice at the entrance to the car park informing people that new parking regulations were in force? These people are arrogant chancers and, sadly for the businesses, I will never park there again.

Over stayed the grace period of 10 minutes by 1 minute (so 11 minutes total) and have issued a fine. Appealed as it took time to pay for the ticket after getting the kids out of the car (5 minutes) and the same on the return (6 minutes to get the kids in the car and leave). Appeal rejected.

I’ve used this car park weekly for a long time, as it’s a convenient spot for my wife to pick me up after my London trips. On one occasion, my train was delayed, and as a result, my wife went just one minute over the allotted parking time.

I appealed the charge, explaining that this was a genuine one-off situation, but the appeal was rejected, and the fine was enforced without any flexibility or understanding.

Very disappointing and rigid approach—feels like a case of prioritising revenue over common sense. Just a heads-up to others: there's no grace period, even for regular users. This is the Lincoln train station carpark

Helt urimeligt, det var ikke en parkering, min mand sad i bilen mens jeg var hos tandlæge i 36 min.

Det er forholdsvis nyt at man skal tjekke ind - derfor gjorde vi det ikke og vi mener stadig ikke at det er en parkering når der sidder én i bilen.

36 minutter og 875 kr. - urimeligt.

Complete rip off artists. 60 quid for staying 7 minutes over. Didn’t help that I had to hobble back on my walking stick. These guys should be wearing black ski masks

These people are crooks, they regularly extort money from people. Appealing to them is a waste of time, they just demand payment!

They sent a notice dated 12 days ater it was issued and ask to pay £60 within 14 days of issue. They have 15 mins pick up and drop off time, and i arrived 13 mins before my kid's session finish time. That day there was a few minutes delay for my kid's session to finish at TVAC, so took extra 6 mins for me to leave the premise - totalling 21 mins. They rejected my appeal that I was parked for total of 21 mins and I ended up paying due to the timescales they defined on the mail. Isn't there a few mins grace period for a pick up ? Why is there an appeal process, if #SmartParking will only be rejecting them ? They don't have any definition of grace period fo pick up as well, and don't consider any appeals. Staying extra 6 mins due to delay in session costed £60. Had I known that there will be a few mins delay in advance, I would have paid for the 1 hr duration, despite it only being a pick up. Better to park somewhere nearby and walk to the TVAC centre

Stayed at a hotel in Middlesbrough and at reception put in my car reg as directed by a staff member onto a parking machine to log that I was staying at said hotel.
Went away working for 5 weeks and come home to find I've a parking fine, not only that because it was over 5 weeks it's been passed to a debt recovery agency and it's gone from £100 to £170, these cowboys need shutting down it disgusting.
I've phoned the hotel to query the issue and they said they'd look onto it, as to whether or not they have I don't know.

Parked in an ex council car park that they have taken over. Cameras everywhere.
Parked up, went to their machine, put reg in, selected the time I would be there for and then it asked me to present my payment card which I did. The machine said ‘processing’ for ages and then said ‘out of paper’.
I presumed it had changed my card but now have a penalty fine.
I presume this is a con to catch people out so they can fine them.
I won’t be using one of their car parks again.
It was 1/2 empty when we got there on a Saturday afternoon which was strange as it’s normally packed, so guessing other people are doing the same now, it’s a shame all the local businesses must be loosing out on trade

Admittedy, we parked up for SEVEN minutes whilst we collected my wife's cancer medication from a pharmacy in Nuneaton. We received the fine which we appealed clearly giving evidence of collecting prescribed medication in less than ten minutes.
Appeal rejected. We received a copy-and-paste type of explanation clearly stating their T&Cs and our obligation to pay within the 28 days of the fine.
I've read similar reviews here. Something very wrong, especially when there are NO responses to people's reviews.

On crutches and very low mobility. The cost of the parking was 80p and now increased to £2.40 per hour. I had not been aware of such a high increase and not got enough change. I tried to use the App, which would not work, I placed my Blue Badge in the window screen and went on crutches to get change, back in less than 15 minutes the attendant was still at my car stuck a fine on and then tells me to appeal. I informed him, that App is not working and he told me I should have found him. He then goes on to tell me in his broken English, I see you. If that was the case why did he not come to me when I was clearly struggling. Reason being as I was a easy target!!!!! Do not use the Holywell Cark park in Chesterfield or any others as they are over priced and driving customers to the retail shopping parks. Clearly a way of generating money for the council. My appeal letter was rejected and it informed me " I should have had more change" I was not aware the price had increased over 100%.
Thought it was a April Fool Joke!

Misleading , frustrating and spoils any experience shopping..
first 45 mins free, went back fifteen mins before the end of the 45 because I knew we would be longer paid to top up ( I thought) an extra hour.. left after 1,43 all together .. asked the man was it right he said yes. Then today 100 pound fine... I now have to jump through hoops and appeal, and who keeps their ticket, i am notified 17 days after the event and it has taken five days to get here from the date of issue.. I am fuming it is deceptive and a scam... I found the ticket,,, but I am told by family the hour is only from the time on the machine it does not consider the remain of the 45.... .. Too much, just never going to that shop again

Helt vanvittigt at give en bøde på 875 kroner, når jeg parkerede i 3 timer.
Jeg havde sat easypark til som de skilter med at man skal, men grundet problemer med easypark (sendte den fejlbesked til dem, som jeg fik på easypark) så menes de at jeg skal modtage en bøde, for at deres skiltning og teknologi ikke virker. Jeg skriver en klage til dem og vedhæfter den besked jeg fik fra easypark, hvor der står at parkeringen har fejl. Jeg får INGEN hjælp og tværtimod et flabet svar tilbage. En helt anden ting er at det er en URIMELIG høj bøde, og ærlig talt dybt til grin!!!!!!

Poor sign on the wall at the entrance to the car park that i didn't notice because It was dark and I was constantly looking at the road to make sure I didn't crash! And at the Marina yacht club directly infront of me to make sure it was open!! Never been charged for using this carpark in the past because it was at one point FREE!! I won't be returning to the yacht club ever again, absolute joke, and not once did i see any signs in the car park because it was full of motorhomes and vans. I appealed and it was rejected, scum, shove the £60 fine where the sun doesn't shine....wouldn't mind but I stayed for 42mins and that would of cost about £2 if I had know to pay!! Genuine mistake punished with extortionate fine, maybe upgrade your cameras because they are crap 💩

£60 fine for overstaying 12 minutes while attending a funeral. I tried to top up but no signal at the Langstone hotel in Dawlish Warren. Thanks a bunch !!!

Disgrafeful company - NHS nurse doing their job and slapped him with a ticket and then rejected the appeal but never received said email so now its jumped to more than double the fee - thanks for your compassion and hope your family dont ever need NHS care while we are look for a parking space - whats happened to this world

I received 2 parking fines from the same car park monitored by this company. The fines were sent after the visits and I appealed both as I was a genuine customer. I received notification of my first appeal being successful but nothing about my second appeal. I’ve now been sent to the debt collectors. I’ve sent proof of my credit card payment for the 2nd appeal but received nothing to say that I had been successful or unsuccessful with my appeal back in December. Now I’m having to try to contact them again or potentially go to court!

i have put one star because it wouldnt let me leave comment without doing so . you need to look at this as this company deserves minus stars awarded !! They are scammers and operating a legal mugging scheme . I have had 3 letters demanding £100 or the debt will be passed to a debt collection agency . I have not parked in their carpark . I have done a 3 point turn in front of their entrance , They have positioned their camera so it takes pics as u approach the entrance . the 'proof' pics they send clearly show the nose of my car touching the pavement ion front of their entrance as i did the 3 point turn to get off my street as my street as only one way into and off . The first 2 times we appealed and the quoshed the parking fine , this time we have appealed and are also getting the local paper to run a piece on it . Because it IS legal day light robbery !! People affected by this company need to report to trading standards . Im thinking of setting up a company and taking pics of peoples shadows as they pass my gate , if the shadow falls on my yard I shall fine them £100 .... what if we all do it ?? the world really as gone mad when this can be registered as a legit company when they are one step above muggers .
