Turn times were super fast
Turn times were super fast. My account rep Channon was super communicative and helpful. We had clear to close a lot sooner than expected. I would highly recommend using SmartFi for your reverse mortgage needs.

SmartFi is an awesome company
SmartFi is an awesome company. My rep there, Mac, is always available or returns my calls immediately. They are super with non-FHA approved condos and will take a look at any loan. They really want to help and look for ways to make the deal.

The process was exceptionally smooth, from file submission to initial approval, thanks to prompt and clear communication. Even with an appraiser issue, we navigated it efficiently. It was a very pleasant experience, acknowledging that appraiser choice isn't within SmartFi's control.

I really appreciate the follow up from the initial contact through every step of the process by our associate. I was able to quickly validate his authenticity from my existing mortgage lender, then the home inspection was very fair and accurate and much less stressful than I thought it would be. In the end our credit went up by about 100 points, freeing up a couple other debts and keeping the equity in our property at a perfect time to do so.
