We need a new boiler fitted as old back boiler needed to upgrade. Got few quotes. David Reynolds came from Smart Energy Homes. Give us decent quote with can do attitude. Stayed in touch though out the process. Give us such a great service! Also team over the telephone. Would definitely use them again. Thank You.

Smart Energy installed an air source heat pump, solar panels, loft insulation and ventilation works. The whole works were completed very efficiently and professionally and the office was easy to get hold of if we needed to.
The installers were polite and professional throughout and cleaned up after themselves.
Everything went very smoothly and the system is working well. We've had some good sunny days to test the solar panels which have been brilliant.
Overall a great experience.

After did some research around and found Smart Energy Homes Ltd from website, few communicates via emails with Liam Elder and his team, very efficiently responsive replied all my questions, queries and worries. The company arranged an experience Engineer David Reynolds to visit my house to find out the best suits my requests and provided me very reasonable quotations.

Decision and arrangement made and installation scheduled within a week.

Rhys and his team knocked on my door an hour in advance scheduled time and completed within six hours with very high and outstanding job, this included an unexpected job, Rhys had to arrange to hire a tall stair to complete the job.

Couldn't fault their work ethic and team work, Rhys was very polite, calm, honest, friendly gentleman took extra care, gone above, took pride of his job and did a diligent work, tidied after completion.

I would highly recommend Smart Energy Homes and Rhys to anyone, friends and families to future reference.

I personally would love to commit more my house improvement work with Smart Energy Homes, Rhys and his team in the coming moment.

Where to even start? There are so many moving parts and they all failed in one way or another.

The promise: A guy was going door-to-door, telling people of a government grant which I could use to better insulate my house. After which, I would get £250 for paint or whatever. They would need to remove the bulk of my radiators and plug sockets, and it would all be over in 5 days.

The reality: I was given zero time to decide if I wanted the thing once the funding was secured. I told them I'd need multiple days and prior notice so move things so the gaffers could get to walls. I was told that the gaffers would help me move things IF I could go ahead with the job the next day. I stupidly agreed. The gaffers turned up and not a single one of them can speak English. I think they're all Ukrainian. They definitely speak Polish because I translated a word that they kept saying, "kurwa". It's a very vulgar word. These guys, who couldn't speak to me, and I could not speak to them, proceeded to throw my belongings into piles in each room, it didn't matter where as long as it was out of their way. My living room has been reduced to a less than one meter path through it, and I am relegated to sitting in the corner of my own home like I'm on the naughty stool. Every day, I am greeted with "Morning" before heading upstairs where they unplug my home security system in order to plug in an on-site stereo, without asking. They have moved all of my disability aids. They damaged my office desk trying to move it. They take a break less than an hour after arriving and then once an hour like clockwork. At least twice, I have smelled marijuana on them. For some bizarre reason, they keep kicking my medication under my bed. It's not in the way, unless you are climbing in or on my bed or trying to reach under the bed. After three days of this, I phoned Smart Energy to get an English speaker out as I had no clue what was going on, on any given day. I was told that the job would be finished on the 27th (it started on the 23rd). That changed to the 4th no sooner then he left. The £250 I was promised upon completion had now become some sort of token scheme. I have been without heating or the bulk of my plug sockets for the entire time. In February. To say I have been cold is an understatement. On Thursday the 26th, I decided to cave in and switch on the heating to have a bath (I've been left with two radiators to heat my entire two-bedroom home and had turned it off as they were constantly trying to heat the house and eating through gas). I warmed the water and ran the bath, only to find that they had been washing their plaster brushes in my bath, despite me having a sink less than two foot from the bath. I cried at that point. Today, Fri 27th, I have been told that today will be the final day for the Polish gaffers and I cannot wait for them to go, just to feel like I am the master of my own home and not a prisoner who cannot even use the toilet when they are here because they use my bathroom as a work room.

Don't say "yes" to this company. It's all smoke and mirrors. Yes, they got the government grant - but they've obviously cheaped out labour and I have no confidence in them. I asked three times to undo what they had done as soon as I found out that I'd be without the bulk of my radiators and plugs for up to a week IN FEBRUARY. I was ignored and now my mental and physical health have both declined sharply and my house looks like a building site, and I am treated like an inconvenience upon the gaffer's building site. I get zero respect despite it being my home, in fact, I am barely acknowledged apart from when I am in the way or I pop out for five minutes, in which case, you can bet that the gaffers will take a break.

Smart Energy Homes carried out a solar PV survey on our home in Mid Wales and provided a slick and detailed proposal which gave me confidence to proceed.
The subsequent installation and associated electrical work was carried out highly professionally by James and his small team. He was a pleasure to have in and around our home, worked diligently, was super polite and very tidy. Would not hesitate to have James work on our home.

Had a gentleman knock the door and within a week I had an engineer out to see what needed to be done on the house. The following Thursday I had the go ahead for insulation to be fitted in my house.
On Monday Tony and Ellis turned up and worked really hard to get the job completed. They are coming back out on Monday just to finish off.
Cannot fault there work, professional, and they tidy up after themselves.
Would recommend Smart Homes Energy to anybody and I hope they get Tony and Ellis to do there work.

Had the insulation all down stairs and up stairs done by Rhys and Simon.
Work carried out was done to a very high standard 👌.left the house clean and spotless fair play to then.muck appreciated lads

The boys came & did an excellent job for my dad. Clean & priecse & polite, job was finished to high standards, 5 star work. All done for him within 2 days. Highy recomended by him.

Phase one completed today by Tony, Ellis,Mike and Shane. We have already noticed the difference in the temperature of our rooms. Both teams worked extremely hard and professionally. We will miss Tony’s singing and jokes and Toby the Dachshund will definitely miss Tony’s morning cuddles.
