Great Jeans, But There Have Been Issues.
The quality of the jeans is amazing - as always. Unfortunately, there were definitely issues with my order from the second launch (in 2023). The sizing software didn't measure me correctly. My custom jeans arrived eventually, and they didn't fit correctly when I tried them on. I tried to get into contact with multiple Slo employees, including Kristian himself, but my complaints fell on deaf ears and the issue never got solved. Finally, MONTHS later (August 2024), someone named Ralph got in contact with me. He was very apologetic, explained the situation, and offered me a solution to the problem. He is very communicative and always gets back to me very quickly. Allegedly, improvements have been made in the entire process of creating the jeans, so I hope the next launches are better and really showcase what Slo wants to stand for as a brand.

I have 3 pairs of jeans from slø and I love them!
I have been following Kristian and the slø journey on TikTok since the beginning in 2022. I have 3 pairs of jeans - one from their initial soft launch, and two pairs of straight and skinny jeans from their latest launch that they did after opening their own manufacturing facility.
The two new ones are some of my favorite pairs of jeans I have in my wardrobe. There is a noticeable difference and improvement in the quality of their jeans - the fabric feels premium and they are really comfortable to wear. They don’t irritate my skin or cause me discomfort unlike some of my other pairs of jeans. The jeans mold to my body really well and I can hold so many things in my pockets without having to worry about them falling out if I bend over or someone grabbing my phone because it’s sticking out too much.
I am a huge fan of the enamel buttons that they use on their jeans - have been since I received my first pair of jeans. It’s so unique to the brand and I haven’t seen this done by anyone else. I love that they now give us the option to customize this part of the jeans. I choose the matte black and electric blue buttons this time and I absolutely love them. I never imagined choosing the color of the button on my jeans would give me so much joy but it did.
Despite some of the issues they have had with production times and other logistical issues, it’s been worth it. Since the beginning, this has been so much more than just about jeans. You can feel the dedication and passion that Kristian and the team puts into making their products. I am super confident that they are going to overcome these issues and take this project to new heights. I am really looking forward to their next launch and collection!!!

Great jeans!
I bought a pair of straight cut jeans from their first launch and I was really sceptical considering no pair of jeans ever fits me properly (there’s always a waist gap and always too tight around the thighs). It took a while initially but I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit me. And throughout the wait time- the staff was very responsive and gave me regular updates! They impressed me so much, I ordered a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of wide leg jeans after. The wide leg jeans didn’t fit me exactly the way I’d like and they immediately offered a replacement and I did not have to incur any extra shipping costs either.
Their jeans have such sturdy material but are still soft- they improved on this I think? Because I got myself a pair of cargos that I honestly love the most. They’re their best pair imo. They’ve been adding more options to customise jeans and I think my favourite option was customising even the button colour. I reached out to them before placing the order and despite having read through the sizing guide because I just wanted to confirm and they suggested I use their sizing tool- it’s so nifty. I think they’re doing their best to be innovative and I can’t wait to see what they have in store next.

It took a while, but they look good!
As a plus size person, there’s something almost magical about being able to put on something that just fits. And these pants certainly fit.
The pants arrived in great condition, the material feels great, and the pockets are huge! And obviously since you input your own size they’d be the correct length, but I’m so happy to have a pair of pants I don’t need to cuff. The sizing system really works well for me.
Now, I will admit- it definitely took a while for the pants to reach me. I placed my order at the end of January/ beginning of February, and did not receive them until August. However, there were updates as each stage of production and the company was clear every time there was any sort of delay.
I will admit, in the age of fast fashion, the waiting was frustrating. That being said, in the age of fast fashion, I don’t have a good reference for how long custom size clothes like these should take. If there weren’t delays, I get the sense that it would have felt more reasonable.
Given how upfront this company has been when there is delays, and how incredibly prompt they were when I reached out- the wait was worth it, and I will be placing another order.
I’d definitely recommend giving them a try, just keep in mind that it’s going to take some time.

disappointing experience.
***Update*** Well, it's been well over the 'three weeks' promise that I would have my jeans and I do not have my jeans. I took away a star because I was probably being too nice with the two stars.
I really wanted to love slo. I wanted jeans with usable pockets that are produced sustainably ( and I didn’t want to wear ill-fitting mens jeans just so I could have decent pockets). On February 13, 2023 I ordered 6 pairs of jeans, 3 for me and 3 for my husband. I was excited; I had some initial concerns about sizing, but I used the sizing app and selected the size based on my measurements. I reached out to customer service to verify the sizes and was assured they would fit.
Then I waited (spoiler alert - I'm still waiting). I received a few emails that my jeans were shipping soon in July 23, August 23, etc. Then in November of 2023, I received 6 pairs of terrible-fitting jeans, including one damaged pair. My husbands were about two inches too short (one of the sizing concerns that I communicated to customer service) and my jeans were about 3 inches too big in the waist and an inch too short (the other sizing issue I communicated to customer service).
Luckily, I was able to arrange an exchange for the correct sizes because their sizing recommendations were so far off (did I mention they changed the size of the jeans in my order without notifying me and this was likely part of the problem). The exchange process started on 12/14/23 and my exchange was ‘finalized’ on 1/3/24. Again, I’ve received several emails that my ‘jeans are on the way’, but it’s 9 months later and I still have no jeans that fit. I am so disappointed.

I recently communicated with you over email about your order, and I want to confirm that your exchange of 6 pairs of jeans for you and your husband will be delivered within the next 3 weeks. I understand this comes after a long period of delays and unclear updates, and for that, I am truly sorry.
The sizing issues you experienced were unacceptable. During the February 2023 launch, we encountered problems with our third-party virtual sizing application - new tech tried for the first time. While they've improved their service, we're actively exploring other options to further optimize the accuracy of sizing data. Changing your order size without notification was a serious error on our part, and we've implemented safeguards to prevent this from happening again.
I want you to know that we're working tirelessly to improve our processes. As COO, I've personally taken over the customer service function for Slø because it's crucial that our customers receive accurate and regular updates on their orders, especially when wait times are longer than usual.
I sincerely apologize for the long period of lack of communication and for the miscommunications around timelines being always "on their way soon". This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we're committed to doing better.
The good news is that we've made significant strides in our production process. We're now able to deliver all new orders within 30 days of measurements being submitted, or we offer money back. This is a huge improvement from our earlier timelines.

I have been following Slo from the start
I have been following Slo from the beginning. I decided to take a risk and bought my 1st pair of jeans at their launch. I've had them almost a year. Mine was part of the fiasco that happened with shipping delays etc so I did get mine later than others in that launch. Glad I opted to wait things out instead of getting a refund... best choice ever!
I have since bought 5 more since (with the intent to buy a few more) and decided to become an invester (something I have never even thought of doing before) because their products are the best jeans I've ever had.
The material is comfortable, looks great and has the give needed when bending etc.
I also really appreciate being able to customize the size and inseam as I am tall (almost 6 ft) and plus size.
It is nice to be able to get the proper length on the inseam while having the same choices as standard sized people. Usually I had to go with things I didn't like in order to get my still poorly fitting pants/jeans.
I am very glad I stuck with Slo during their company starting "growing pains" that all started from womens pants pockets (or as I've said nockets because there were no pockets lol).
And yes, said pockets are awesome! They are huge compared to anyone other jeans/pants I've had and are not made of that flimsy pocket material that ripped on 100% of my old pants.
I only give honest reviews on any product and Slo fashion is the only clothing product manufacturer that I have 100% confidence in even thru the "growing pains" all start ups go thru.
Can't wait to see what else they come up with!

I placed an order in March of 2023...and still no clear answer
I placed an order in March of 2023. No updates to tracking info, multiple emailed requests that get ai generated or form fill outs and promises of a credit when I all I want is my money back. They are no means for a customer to double check information. There needs to be a way to get a tangible refund, a gift card, gift code or even an app transfer (e.g. venmo, paypal etc.). There is no list of "team members" to confirm who is who or if they are real. I am done, just done

First, I want to confirm that I've issued a full refund of $75 for your cargo jeans. This refund has been processed, and you should see it reflected in your account soon.
I understand that the lack of updates, automated responses, and communication issues have been incredibly frustrating. You're right - we need to do better. We're currently overhauling our customer service system to ensure more personalized, prompt responses and clearer communication channels.
Regarding the shipping delays, we've recently encountered unexpected customs issues that have slowed down packages leaving Turkey. I take full responsibility for not having this information before sending out timeline estimates to our customers. We're actively working to resolve this, including meeting with a customs broker to streamline the process going forward.
Despite the refund, your jeans are still on their way to you. While we expect them to arrive within 2 weeks, please allow up to 3 weeks due to the current customs situation.

Long wait but worth it
I bought the cargo jeans in November 2023 when they were wold at cost. I did not receive them until March. The wait was long however, the jeans themselves made it worth it. The material is soft and comfortable, the fact that the waist is adjustable is amazing cuz my weight fluctuates alot. Also I like the personalization elements with my name on them and the button I got to choose.

I bought two pairs of jeans from slo
I bought two pairs of jeans from slo. i followed kristian from the start around the time when he blew up on tik tok but wasn’t selling the jeans yet. eventually i bought a pair, and i was super excited! unfortunately, they took months to come. it was definitely longer than expected, but they were super transparent about everything the whole way through which made me feel like i was a part of their journey. i did a kick starter for the first fidget cube years ago, and it took a similar length to come (and they had zero updates for me), so it overall was still a good experience :) however, when the jeans came, they didn’t quite fit right. they were a little too long, but i got them taken up by a tailor, and now they fit great! I ordered a second pair in their next launch too, and those ones fit like a glove. super stretchy and comfy and they feel really special because i’ve been part of this movement this whole time. overall, giving 5 stars despite the hurdles because i really believe in these guys, and i’m super excited to see them grow and release new “groovy” jean products 😎

Great value and experience
I’ve been following the progress of SLO from the beginning. I have several pairs of jeans and two jackets.
I truly think the value of the jeans is being underrated. They are fantastic quality denim, seams are better than any other pair I have owned in decades!
I absolutely LOVE that the material is sturdy, yet comfy. The fit is amazing! I used the sizing tool, which did require an extra pair of hands to get correct.
There were a few delays in shipping my second pair, but the company was very upfront with communication and didn’t try to hide the issues they had encountered. I appreciate the prompt communication and transparency.
I will absolutely be buying more from SLO! I have already recommended them to several others as well.

Slo has awesome jeans that are worth it!
Slo is an awesome new company trying to tackle the Jean industry and make it better and more accessible for everyone. I will admit that they’ve had some hiccups along the way. But they’re want and need for the customers to be happy far outweigh them. I’ve got 3 pairs of jeans already that I absolutely love and I’ve ordered more and patiently waiting for them, because they are worth the wait. They’re amazing quality with a wide range of sizes by both waist and inseams. They’ve got a forever customer with me and the thing I’m most excited about as a woman with these jeans…THEY HAVE POCKETS! I can carry everything I need in them and not have to bring a purse! LIFE MADE! Forgive their hiccups, cause they’re only getting better and they’re already changing the Jean game.

Fit great but took long to arrive
The fit:
The jeans fit like a glove, the sizing is very accurate and my butt stays covered at all times (what I'm not used to from other brands). The fabric is on the lighter side and very comfortable to wear. I cant wait to order more jeans from Slø in the future.
Shipping:
Unfortunately my jeans stayed in turkey at the shipping company's place for many months. I had to wait for nearly half a year before they finally got sent to me. I know that the Slø team is doing many changes to improve shipment and I look forward to get a better experience at my next future order.

Taking on Fast fashion is not an easy task but you have created a great product while breaking through traditional boundaries. I have always had difficulty finding pants that fit me but your sizing system has made it possible to get a pair of jeans that actually fit! Plus don't even get me started on the pockets!!
