Sling Tv--Chime

I downloaded Sling tv app,ordered blue package,set up my account. It NEVER came through. After several attempts to call them,they could not locate my acc. I was told to file a dispute thru payment method. Dispute was filed n I still got denied a refund of $48.75. BOO to Sling tv n Chime. I will be notifying the Att Gen office come Monday morn.

Sling tv has been charging me twice for…

Sling tv has been charging me twice for one service. In February of 2020 a service fee of $5 dollars was needed to uphold current service. Since then and every month after I’ve been charged twice a month for one subscription. If you’ve ever been overcharged by sling TV speak out I would like to start a class action lawsuit.

Beware of purchasing a day pass to…

Beware of purchasing a day pass to watch a certain game. Sling advertises as available with a day pass, only to find out AFTER the purchase that the game is blacked out. Then, when you request a refund, they say no and just click off.

I wish I could leave zero stars

I wish I could leave zero stars. Sling won't let us log in after several years of subscriptions. Customer service says nothing they can do. This is a worthless platform and I hope they lose their current sports licenses and never gain a new one. They are absolutely horrible and I would recommend you do not waste or lose your money, as I have.

Sling TV will STEAL FROM YOU, Literally

So, I used Sling Tv for a few months. When I was done with it, I canceled. Back on Dec 28th 2025. Then in March I noticed that they have been charging me for three months, (over $200), after I received a confirmation from them saying that the account was cancelled. The next day I chat with them. Without me knowing they charge me the moment the conversation started. Then they offered me to cancel my account for me, (even though I already done it twice), they said that my account was still active! After that they offered me to give me a one month refund, so the amount that they just charged me at the beginning of the conversation.

I asked for the other two months. They said that it is not their policy to give more than one refund. They also said that the moment I signed the contract to use Sling TV, I agreed to this terms.

I asked her to bear with me while I analyzed the situation to see if I understand. I said, so, even though I cancelled my account back on December 28th, 2025, and I received an email confirming this action. And then, I cancelled again two days ago, and received an email confirming the action, my account was still active. Then, you guys charge me every month, and now you said that I signed for this? That doesn't sound right. She hand up on me.

At the end, I had to talk to my bank, and they will help me with this. They were familiar with Sling Tv, and how they work. If you can avoid their service. They WILL STEAL FROM YOU, AND THEN TELL YOU THAT YOU SIGN FOR IT.

Sling doesn't let you do that

Went with Sling because, at first impression, it sounded like a good deal. We added Paramount+ to our package because they had some shows we liked. Opened the app on our TV to find the shows and couldn't. Paramount+ shows up but 1) I couldn't find the show anywhere and 2) there's no way to search for it.

Promises, promises.

It's no surprise Sling is owned by Dish Network; they suck too!

I was one of the first to use SLING

I was one of the first to use SLING. But like with all the other free apps, now they charge. Not worth it! I had problems with it not playing, voice not insink, limited viewing menu and so on.
I have and will continue to boycott this company and app services. I also discourage anyone who may be interested in it. NOT WORTH SUPPORTING THIS COMPANY!
Total lies now!

Only 9 month to watch recodings

The main reason why I signed up for Sling was because of the unlimited DVR with no time frame on how long you have to watch your recordings. Now they only give you 9 months before they are automatically deleted.

I think sling is fabulous but what’s truly fabulous is whoever is doing the commercials is doing a great job because when I hear one, I spend the rest of the day singing it slightly let you do that. It’s in my head all day love it.

Sling "Budget" plan TV service SUCKS!!!

Got tired of "mainstream" TV service costing $60-92/mo when I only watch maybe 10 channels regularly, so dumped YouTube TV ($92/mo) and was very pleased to find Sling Select for $19.99/mo!
Sure, mostly channels with very old shows/movies, but the channels I wanted were there so I wasn't disappointed.
Until, soon I found constant app crashes, many channels that had no captions (even though they have the on/off switch), very frequent buffering, etc.
I have 200 meg solid connection (had 12 mbps cable previously with NO streaming issues) and YT and others stream flawlessly so it isn't "your connection" as they claim.
VERY disappointing, as they are most definitely NOT wanting people to buy that package.
But, if they think everyone will get fed up and upgrade, it ain't going to be the case with me.
I'd much rather start back up with YTTV and pay them 3x more, than to play these games.
It ran FLAWLESSLY with the same setup I am currently using.
Shame on you Sling, and your Corporate greed tactics.

The worst experience

The worst experience. First, the local channels that I was told I would have access to prior to subscribing WERE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Then, I received a gift card that I wanted to add. I followed the sites steps, but the option was not available in my account. I was told to add it the day before my subscription started over. Option still was not there, so then I was told to add it the day of subscription renewal. The option was still not available. So now I'm being told (after the rep asked for my card number to add it manually)to add it that even after 8:42 p.m. EST and someone will be able to add it manually for me then. I logged in at that time and it said my payment is now late. So I contact support again to have it manually input as I was told, only to be told that I can't use it and have to make a payment.

Sling TV is a scam!…

I totally agree with Matt in his review! Same exact thing happened to me and also on the same date! I canceled on January 21st 2026, and they still charged me for the next 2 months. And also refused to refund me and couldn’t talk to anyone on the phone.
They are crooks, so do not get Sling TV!!

I wish I had read these reviews first. I flipped from YouTubeTV to Sling to save some money during the off-football season. What a disaster. The list of problems with the app and overall user experience is so long at this point only a week in - and I jumped in for their 3-month package, which you can't cancel, so I'm stuck. Avoid Sling. It is not worth the cost. Login issues, connection issues, freezing - literally, locking up the whole TV system needing to reboot, automatically bumping you from programming, and poor customer service) - I'm done already.

AirTV Anywhere should be renamed AirTV Nowhere. This thing is a boat anchor. Customer service which took three separate agents and almost two hours finally admitted the thing no longer works with WiFi which was the whole reason for the name Anywhere. They finally admitted after two more long chats that it doesn’t work RIGHT NOW with Ethernet either! Which means this bucket of trash doesn’t work at all. And yet Sling pit it out to its beloved public anyway. I am reporting them everywhere I can review and with the attorney generals office as well. This is blatant and intentional false advertising. It is despicable and we should all work to put Sling, which should be renamed S#%% TV

Clicked wrong button for service

Clicked wrong button for service, will not let me cancel, sent me to "tech support" supposedly for $5 to get the situation rectified. Did NOTHING to fix ANYTHING, said send info - did not. Then find recurring charge for $38 on my credit card for tech services that I don't want or need! Unbelievable website simply sending you in a circle with no options for solving the problem and NO CUSTOMER service available.

Price and selection is great

Price and selection is great, but in the past year many screen freezes on Sling or loading issues. I have 1,000 internet speed and really only computer up only. So no speed issues, bought an upper end TV LG get last month, got everything loaded and update and reset my internet just to make sure. Sling still has freezes and loading problems. Netflex, Paramount plus and other streaming services run extremely well. The problem is contacting Sling is near impossible but when you do they start saying the problem is on my end. NO IT IS NOT. Stop with the excuses or deal again with one less customer. I was forced to put in a date but really going on for last 12 months everyday throughout the day.

I am EXTREMELY upset

I am EXTREMELY upset. On January 21, 2026, I cancelled my Sling subscription. I received confirmation that my subscription was cancelled. Yet somehow you charged my credit card $65 in February --- A month I did not watch one single minute of Sling programming. Then again on February 23, 2026 Sling TV charged my credit card for another month of a Sling TV which I cancelled on January 21, 2026. Now they're automated customer service is telling me a refund is not possible. They're a complete rip off if you try and cancel.
