Having had problems with my sleep for years I was desperate for help with my insomnia, I had tried over the counter herbal meds, lavender pillow sprays etc but nothing worked. I didn't want sleeping pills, they are no good for you. My pharmacist referred me to the sleep station program.
What it does is retrain your sleep clock. I found it very hard to start with but if you want a good result you have to stick with it...I am now at the end of the program and I am finding it has changed my daily routine. I am now an early riser and feel so much more alive...in fact I feel like a new woman...
I now have the knowledge and tools to enable me to stay on track. I was told by my pharmacist that the program was proving to be very successful and has proved to be for me.

The reply from Sleepstation was as patronising as the service! I was referred by my GP as this is the ONLY thing they offer apart from sleep apnea clinics, not because she 'thought DCBTi would benefit me. If only they responded as quickly on the app!

I was referred to Sleepstation by my GP after 4 years of insomnia after an emergency admission in 2019, leaving hospital after 4 weeks with heart failure, AF and under a neurologist. Since then getting no clinical help for this condition whatsoever even after seeing various doctors. Lots of cancelled appointments, with no reasons given. This came to a head when I was sent to a NHS sleep clinic for sleep apnea, of which all my medical records state I do not have. During this time I have used Minds Matter and various online sleep counselling/courses, all of which confirm I have chronic insomnia, and cover the basic sleep hygiene/MH assessments and CBT courses/methods. Nothing has worked, each one telling me it is a more in-depth problem, hence being referred to a sleep clinic within the NHS in the first place.
Once referred to Sleepstation, I went on to fill in my sleep diary (which is pretty much generic on all apps) only to find out it was impossible to enter my data! So I wrote a note explaining this each time. Then I also presumed they had access to, and would read, my medical records as my GP said they were an NHS partner. Nope! I was expected to reiterate over 4 years of heart and neurological conditions, treatments and symptoms all of which affect my daily life. Then the patronising messages came in reply to my questions/concerns. I'm at the stage where I've asked to be removed from the 'course' and will be speaking to my GP and showing her just how basic and AI generated the service is.
I'm appalled the NHS is basically selling this, which is what signing up to it is in reality, regardless if I pay or the NHS. After speaking to my surgeries' manager I have been told the NHS only offers a sleep apnea clinic now, removing insomnia as a condition they treat around 12 months or so ago. This also explains my 'cancelled' appointments over the past couple of years. Sleepstation seems to be a box to tick by GPs to at least say they offered help, with zero regard to how effective or suitable the service actually is.

Just want to add to the rave reviews of sleepstation. I came to sleepstation after experiencing severe insomnia. I was determined to stick with the course ( after all who wants to see every waking minute of a night ). The information and guidance that I recieved was excellent, and I am now back on track.If you read this and you,like me were thinking negatively,then dont! Just join sleepstation and benefit yourself.

Started this programme as I was suffering slight insomnia, ended this programme with major anxiety and getting help from my local NHS crisis team (who after researching Sleepstation were appalled by the programme structure). This programme may work for some people, but for me it was dangerous. The diaries and the sleep restriction made me super vigilant and anxious around sleep, which was something I’d never suffered from previously. Advice on the chat function was given to avoid doing interesting things of an evening. This lead me to become socially isolated and lonely. With the support of my NHS GP I started a private CBTI course. This has been transformative, and provided genuine one to one support - they emphasised going out and doing what I love in the evening. The one to one support I got on Sleepstation, was so poor, it actually referred to me by someone else’s name and answered questions I hadn’t even asked

I was averaging from no sleep to a minimum of 2-3 hours at best. Did the 7 week course with sleep station via my GP referral and I’m now averaging 6-7 hours most nights and falling to sleep within 15 minutes. I was really surprised as I’ve never been able to sleep. Sleep station are so supportive it is like having someone on hand 24/7 giving tips and therapy support that really does work or did for me. I was severely sleep deprived and hated bed time. My sleep is now normal and no longer an issue. Try sleep station.

For 61 years I have never slept well, nothing I did seemed to make a difference, certainly not sustainably. This course has changed that: By adjusting several behavioral patterns (nothing drastic, nothing illogical or inconveniencing) the program guided me through some changes, a few steps at a time and now my sleep is vastly and sustainably improved. Whilst it is true that I don't wake up feeling completely refreshed, I no longer wake up feeling tired for the first hour of the day and I no longer wake during the night like before or struggle to fall asleep in the first place! Also, things I might do (caffeine in the evening, naps during the day, Exercise or not), doing or not doing these now does make a difference which means I can decide on the risks and rewards of all of these things.

My GP referred me to this programme. Can’t say it helped at all. I found some of the advice quite patronising. The tutorials were not very helpful, this was all things I’ve found out on myself. The time taken for some feedback was excessive and had I paid personally for this - I’d have demanded a refund.
In all honesty the programme affected my health. I’d become more anxious over this. Their recommendation of depriving myself sleep with the hope that is then pass out in sheer exhaustion was concerning to the point I’d ended up calling them.

The information help and ideas are so clever, as they help you to obtain a realistic outcome, that you can work with. Plus you have feedback from a team of knowledgeable help, that can answer your questions your fears etc with helpful feedback.
I was slightly sceptical at first I must admit, but all I can say is please accept the helpful videos, and the feedback, and don't be afraid to question or accept the advice and help.
This is my last week on the course, but I know the guys and lady's are still going to be there for a long time after I complete my seventh week, which is so brilliant.

I was referred to Sleepstation by my GP. At first I was sceptical that it would be able to help me with my very long term and severe insomnia. However it certainly has helped me and my sleep pattern, although still not brilliant, is much improved! I am delighted.
In addition to the extensive tips and techniques materials is backed up with excellent real time contact and support from Sleepstation staff. This has been the best bit.
The sleep deprivation regime is very tough and at first seems counter intuitive but I did stick with it and it has definitely helped. So I would advise anyone to persevere and you will see the benefit.

suffered with chronic sleep probs for15 years and this is the best help and treatment i have had. help is on hand at the click of a button and replies are swift. i havent had a sleeping tablet since i started this treatment and i am confident i have learnt techniques to prevent me from doing so in the future.well researched help and advice.many thanks to the sleepstation team. if you join this please go the distance im sure you will be glad you did.

My sleep pattern was terrible. I dreaded going to bed. I was averaging around 5 hrs of very broken sleep a night. Since completing the 6 week programme, I now average 8 to 8 & a half hours sleep a night. There are so many useful tips and I thoroughly recommend the programme.

When I saw the information about Sleepstation at the GP surgery I realised I hadn’t woken up feeling refreshed for years and that I was finding it hard to go to sleep and also often experiencing very stressful dreams which woke me up during the night. I applied to the programme and adhered to all the suggestions given me even although it was challenging at first to change some ingrained habits. I have learned a lot of useful tips and during the last month I’ve not been experiencing the disturbing dreams and am experiencing far more occurrences of feeling refreshed when I wake. It is such a luxury to feel that. I will continue the new suggested regime and am grateful to the programme. I’d recommend the programme to anyone with sleep problems. I especially appreciated personal messages from the support system and the ability to flag up any ongoing problems.

I had been having problems going to sleep, laying for hours sometimes trying to go to sleep.
Contacted my GP who put me on to Sleepstation which was funded by the NHS and was free to consult for myself.
My main problem was trying to close my mind to everyday things, this in turn was the main cause of my sleep problem. Sleepstation put forward a ideas that may help and this became the turning point regarding my sleep issue.
Within a few days I had managed to close my mind to worries and at the same time put things that where on my mind into perspective.
Resolving my sleep issue has made a great difference, I feel so much better in myself, less stressed and altogether a lot happier. Grat people with good ideas to help.

After not sleeping properly for several years my gp reffered me to sleepstation . I have tried all the over the counter pharmacy stuff and all the sleep better info online too.
The website looks all flashy and promises the world and you WILL
Sleep better after 4 sessions. What 4 sessions! Im.not sure what these sessions are.They say message us and we will help and check in with you weekly. I message and it takes over a week for a reply and I haven't had any weekly check-in either for ages ! I called them and basicly got told to message the sleep 'coach' and they will help with the problems I'm having. I explained weeks for a reply is pretty poor. I have other health issues which they have made worse. The lady on the other end of the phone really didn't seem bothered either.
Go to bed at no earlier than 1am and up at 6! I was told anything less than 7 hours is bad for you. My sleep now is far worse than before sleepstation! I'm only getting around 3 hours sleep a night and thats all messed up to.
I told the coaches my concerns age's ago and all I get is very computer generated messages over and over. Its that bad I have had to speak to my gp who has prescribed me more medication which I'm not overly happy taking .
Evey message is personal and from a human hmmmmm are they? My gp refered me and I even got told I refered myself which I didn't!
Total waste of nhs money which needs spending else where. All the info is available online for free and not hundreds of pounds. All the messed up sleep is affecting life and othe health issues.
******I called sleepstation as instructed above,i got told no one was around from the onboarding team.a few days later i got a call back from quite a snotty lady 'who told you to call us'well your reply on trustpilot did! I wasent listened to and my gp has been trying different things to try get my sleep back to normal, after being totally messed up. Even telling the sleep coaches the problems they keep repeating same old thing's. I don't suffer with sleep anxiety which they seem to asume everyone does! The videos are awful and slow also.******

My partner tried this and we can confirm that it is total drivel.
I don't know about counting sheep however counting the dodgy reviews on here could be more effective than the 'service' offered..
Apparently the fully funded isn't available in our area so we have to pay £160. However as Sleepstation don't want access to their incredible (can you detect the sarcasm..) service to a postcode lottery they will graciously give a 'grant' of £135. First confidence trick and it unfortunately leaves far more than we would be prepared to pay.
Basically the course just consists of plenty of well worn patronising material that can be found for free elsewhere online. The sleep diaries only serve to exacabate insomnia as they increase anxiety of the issues.
Please don't be conned by this nonsense.

An excellent way to learn how to reset your sleep patterns. I found it extremely useful and after finishing the course, now have much better night's sleep. If I do wake up, I know not to worry too much and to do one of the ideas/remedies to get back to sleep.

I have had trouble with my sleep for a long time, I have tried over the counter remedies, and
prescription pills all to no avail. My doctor referred me to sleepstation and it's been the best cure so far.I have learned how to relax,to keep my bedroom dark and how not to worry about getting to sleep. They have provided me with the best tools to use in going forward to get my sleep pattern back on track. I have 1 week left to go to finish the course but even after I've finished their will be support to keep on track, the team have worked wonders.

I struggle with my sleep for months and months and nothing was working for me until I started with sleepstation.
I was sleeping 3-4 hours a night and I am sleeping 8 hours now. Was not always a easy process but it’s worth it.

I have found sleepstation a great support and resource to help me in resolving/accepting my sleep difficulties. I now have the knowledge and skills to manage my sleep more effectively. I have learnt to accept that sleep is not a constant good or bad going forward.

I was referred to Sleepstation by my doctor because the quality of my sleep was poor.
Sleepstation analysed my sleep problems through questionnaires and I had a team of sleep experts who messaged me with support and information. Then slowly over the 7 week course they restructured my sleep routines and gave me the tools to start to see an improvement in getting off to sleep and maintaining sleep during the night.
There are also useful resources on the site, relating to different sleep problems and recent research into sleep issues.
By week 3 I was starting to see improvements and I finished the programme this week only having the occasional broken night.
I now have the ‘tools’ to help me to continue to sleep well.
I would highly recommend this programme to people struggling with sleep problems.
