Words cannot express how Sleepstation has changed my life. For years I had not slept well and bedtime was a stressful time. Will I sleep tonight ? Will I lay awake worrying? I feel so alone lying awake ..
Since starting the programme I have felt supported, encouraged, and excited that I may be able to learn to relax and get a little sleep.
At first it was difficult keeping to the plan but the messages of support really helped me carry on.
Gradually I actually began to get a few hours sleep.
Getting to sleep still took a long time but to actually get some sleep was amazing.
As the weeks went by things got better and better and to my amazement I was actually falling asleep within 15-30 minutes. I slept for several hours and many times woken by the alarm.
I am about to finish the program and I am generally sleeping for runs of 5-6 hours now. I am hoping I can set my alarm for a little later than 6 am and who know, I may get even more sleep!
If you are struggling with insomnia and are considering giving Sleepstation a go please do.
It has truly transformed my life and I can't thank them enough.

I had been on sleeping tablets for the past 9/10 years and was advised to stop taking them as I was finding they were not working and I was not sleeping well at all. I was worried about how I would cope trying to sleep without the tablets. I decided to try Sleep Station to help me recover the ability to sleep naturally!
I found the six week course very difficult, especially the sleep restriction therapy, but there was a lot of support from the team and lots of advice through resources and videos to help me understand what would aid my return to natural sleep. I found all the resources very helpful and the personalised messages from the team reassured me that I would see a change if I just stuck to it. It was very important for me to have the ability to contact the team when I needed help or support and they always replied promptly.
At the start of the course I was sleeping between 0/2 hours. Now, at the end of the sixth week, I am getting an average of 4/5 hours, which is a big improvement for me.
Going forward I expect to make more progress by continuing to follow the pattern that has been set for me and making use of the resources when I need them. I am feeling positive and encouraged to keep going on this path by myself, knowing that I can make contact with the team for the near future should I need support.
I would highly recommend Sleep Station, but would like to make it clear that this is not a quick fix and you need to put the work in and persevere. It will be worth it in the end.

Managed to INCREASE my insomnia and decrease my sleep efficiency. That really helps! Some of the techniques are possibly useful but they come way to late in the course. I feel the first 3-4 weeks could be condensed. Support woefully inadequate and ineffective, (they cut and paste answers). E.g. you are reducing my sleep times, I am worried about driving to work in the morning.. their paraphrased answer... "Oh don't worry about that, just stick to the plan".. and then when I didn't follow the stupid instructions, they ask me why not?
All the advice is .pdf forms, like a book, which are impossible to read on a phone.
And at they end it is "thanks for taking part, good luck".... I wouldn't pay for this, although I guess tax payers money does.

I have had sleeping problems for nearly four years I thought I'd never sleep properly again. My experience is a positive one. For me that fact that it is virtual was convenient as you can do it all in your own time there was no pressure from sleepstation and they were only a message away if I needed them. The first two weeks were the hardest but now the hard work has definitely paid off thank you sleepstaion I now have more energy and I want to do things as iam not permanently exhausted.

I am now about 6 months out from finishing my course of cbti with Sleepstation. The program has been life-changing for me. I entered the program in a real crisis- severe insomnia and anxiety related to a tinnitus spike I was experiencing. The quality of support was excellent and I learnt so much. My sleep was beginning to improve by the end of the course but this only continued after the end of the 8 weeks as I carried on using the tools and techniques I had been shown. I am now sleeping pretty normally and my life has transformed for the better. I would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you Sleepstation.

My experience is very successful. The communication is excellent. Lots initially to get you up and running, what your problem is, how long, personal information. The first couple of weeks are hard but it’s important to listen to the advice and stay with it. I’m now coming to the end and although my sleep isn’t perfect I have the skills to know how to deal with it and the way forward.

I struggled with insomnia for over 20 years and can honestly say that Sleepstation has worked wonders for me. It is truly worth sticking with the restrictive sleep programme as I believe this was the answer for me. After just 4 weeks I was managing to fall asleep quicker and stay asleep for longer and as if by magic my RLS has improved. Thank you!

Just 6 weeks ago I was a chronic insomniac. Now I'm sleeping nearly 6 hours per night. It's a very powerful and effective technique. The support I received from Sleepstation was far greater than I expected and always helpful.
So anyone suffering from crippling insomnia can solve the problem. Just follow the instructions as closely as possible, even though they might seem counterintuitive. If you do that you'll go from despair to normal. Overall Sleepstation has been superb

I had been suffering with insomnia for sometime, my GP recommend Sleepstation. It is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made, after contacting Sleepstation and going through my issues I was given a sleep schedule, recommending bedtime and what time to get up. It seemed at first very difficult and challenging but the alternative was not being able to sleep normally, which was why I contacted Sleepstation. With the absolutely fantastic support from everyone involved in Sleepstation I started to feel changes, my anxiety was much less, which meant my mental health was improving, which had an effect on my moods, I enjoyed my days better, I wasn’t dredging bedtimes. It changed my life completely, I sleep much better now than I ever did. I really can’t thank Sleepstation enough. The key to me for there success is they really do understand what you are going through , this understanding is why you will be successful and reach your goals.

I have suffered with bad sleep for over 15yrs starting with waking alot in the night to not being able to get to sleep until 3am. I had been given info from the NHS but it wasn’t enough as you need the support along the way. Sleepstation was worth every penny. They told me exactly what time to go to bed and get up every morning, putting it in the app and getting support makes all the difference to help you stick to a very difficult routine. You do have to be prepared for a very difficult few weeks - I was so tired it was hard to keep awake until bedtime, but it has been worth it to get my sleep back!!

I signed up to Sleepstation via my GP last year, but was unable to stick with the program for more than a few days. I wanted to pick it up again this year as I have more bandwidth to stick to this kind of thing. Sadly I was told that the NHS would have to pay a second time, despite none of my symptoms changing. Sleepstation said that it was because I needed to be reassessed in case something had changed.
I now see Sleepstation as a cynical organisation who want payment for no additional work. Protect the NHS, use a different service.

I feel pleased with myself for improving my sleep pattern and this is all down to Sleepstation's excellent guidance. I am now in control of my sleep, not the other way round. It's been a tough course but I have had useful, relevant resources to help me and a compassionate, helpful sleep coach to support me.

I received really prompt support & advice all the way through the programme. I’ve suffered from insomnia for 14 years & felt I had nowhere to turn, until Sleepstation. My sleep has vastly improved since doing the programme. It requires effort & a change in habits but it is well worth it.

The Sleepstation app has been really helpful in tackling my chronic insomnia. By recording regular sleep diaries, using the online resources and having regular contact with the Sleep Coaches, I have been able to get into a much better sleep pattern.

It is very helpful someone understand your problem when you complain about your sleep difficulties and at the same time say you slept well. In my case the difficulty I had was falling asleep (could take me up to 3 hours).
Sleepstation gave me some help and now it is very rare for me not to fall asleep within 30 minutes

I thought my poor sleep was due to insomnia, but Sleepstation helped me realize it was anxiety, through their techniques and guidance I have learnt how to get my anxiety under control by a correct sleeping pattern. I would wake up all hours of the night.
When I first stated the plan I was really tired when I got up. Going to bed at 12 and getting up at 5. I must admit I am now sleeping better. I do get up when I wake and don’t stay in bed for hours.
The instructions are say to follow would definitely recommended.

This Programme has guided me through the last few weeks to help me identify problems with my sleep pattern and how I think about sleep. I have learned such a lot and although it uses CBTi don't let this put you off. Everything makes complete sense and if you stick with it and act on the personalised recommendations you'll find that suddenly everything falls in to place. It doesn't feel like therapy at all. I am so grateful I was able to access this Programme and would certainly recommend it to anyone who is struggling with their sleep.

I suffered from insomnia for 5 years, brought on by IVF, heavy doses of hormones, 2 pregnancies, 2 babies, breastfeeding, RLS, etc. which then turned into deeply-rooted anxiety about sleep and tiredness. Tried everything under the sun - magnesium, apigenin, theanine, CBD oil, ashwaganda, passion flower extract, diazepam, valerian hops drops. Nothing worked, but I refused to use both alcohol or sleeping tablets as I knew they'd only make the situation worse. My immune system started tanking, I'd get one infection after another. I was LUCKY if I slept through once a month. I was surviving on 2-3 hours a night, with many nights of ZERO sleep, none, just tossing and turning and sobbing from lack of sleep. My mind started playing tricks on me, I had two rounds of planning my suicide, as that would at least allow me to get some sleep. I could not comprehend how other people would just go to bed and fall asleep, how do they stay asleep, how come I'd lost that ability (I used to sleep through 9pm - 5am with no problems, would wake up fresh as a daisy).
Sleepstation was mentioned to me by my GP almost as a side note, while treating something else. I hated the idea of checking out another website that wouldn't help much but i was desperate. The alternative was no sleep for the rest of my life, and what really convinced me was trustpilot reviews, so thought I'd pay for the essential package and go with it.
I was very optimistic to start with, then started hating the whole process, then I developed a mild anxiety around submitting my diaries (mainly about not wanting to disappoint the sleep coaches whom I'd never met). Some of the recommendations were not realistic in my household with 2 small children but I made a point of following most of the programme, as hideous as it was. I went from 51 points in the initial assessment (severe insomnia) to 67 points 8 weeks later (less severe insomnia), so needless to say I was disappointed. HOWEVER, the moment I stopped submitting diaries, 2-3 days later, I started sleeping 5-6h a night. Now, about 6 weeks after finishing the programme, I'm still following the recommendations and sleeping through 6, sometimes 7h a night (including last night).
What worked for me the most is realising I need to go to bed when I feel sleepy, not when I feel tired. This distinction was a game changer. I realised I'd created some damaging associations in my head around bed and sleep that no herbs or medications would fix, only new habits would.
The feeling of being that person who can again go to bed and sleep, wake up refreshed, have a functioning immune system, have energy for my 2 boys - is indescribable and priceless.
I apologise for this essay but I thought that it might help, since insomnia can be life-destroying and yet is perceived by many as just a mild and temporary condition.
Stick with it even when it's unbelievably hard, as it might fix the problem for good.
