I was referred to SleepStation by my dr as I was suffering with Fight/Flight which caused me chronic insomnia with anxiety. It was the worse feeling unable to calm down before going to sleep & eventually I got a bad case of anxiety as well. Never suffered with any of it before so I was in a bad way. I joined SleepStation & they helped me straight away. The course was over 7 weeks & I have to say that I sleep so much better now. It’s not been easy to do all the sleep hygiene & sleep scheduling but it works. Yes you have to do it yourself & train yourself to sleep properly & retrain your brain.
I had a great response from every question I had & I have to say it’s been very hard but brilliant.
There are many things in life we take for granted but losing the ability to sleep is so hard to sort by yourself.
Thanks to my GP & everyone at SleepStation I am now on the road to getting back to not thinking about sleep every day & getting on with my life.
If you have a problem with sleep & it’s affecting your life so much then please go & see your GP.
I would recommend it to anyone - they are brilliant

I had suffered with insomnia for over 50 years. I tried everything and had read all the books but nothing really worked. And then I saw an article about Sleepstation.
I signed up with a referral from my GP and I am so glad I did because it has worked. Previously I was lucky to sleep 1 or 2 hours per night. Now I sleep soundly for about 5 hours at least. Brilliant!

I was referred by my GP to Sleepstation due to chronic insomnia. Initially I was sceptical especially when they started by messing with my sleep pattern(which wasn’t working anyway). Going into about week 3 I started noticing small changes such as not waking up as many times. By week 6 I was sleeping through and if I did wake then using the tools I had been provided with I was able to drift off quickly. If you do struggle with sleep then I would definitely recommend Sleepstation.

GP referral to Sleepstation after health mot. In my last week and had more uninterrupted sleeps in the last 6 weeks than probably the last 6 years. Some obvious solutions such as physical sleeping environment but they do work. Restring your body clock is a challenge as your plan pushes back the initial bedtime and your mind is saying I will never sleep. However I can only say stick with it the cognitive processes work if you make the effort and soon become second nature. Already my blood pressure in the morning has reduced significantly with better sleeps and is near perfect by evening time. It even helps avoiding jet lag.it may not be the answer for everyone but if it avoids sleeping tablets I am 100% in support of the programme.

I saw an article in newspaper about sleep station and thought i’ve got nothing to lose,I tried everything else, from pillows mattress tapes smells, and spent most of my life grabbing a few hours sleep a couple of times a week if i was lucky.Sort of accepted i would never sleep properly and worried about my health because of it. I can honestly say sleepstation is best thing i ever did,i followed my plan the team set me it’s difficult at first but eventually realise everything i’d tried before was totally wrong i now am worry free about sleep and usually get six hours a night it has literally changed my life! I cannot thank the amazing team enough for all the support and advice and messages you are my miracle. I shall move forward now with my plan kept safely in my head and be grateful i fell over the newspaper article that day.Thank you sleep station

I cannot thank the Sleepstation people enough for their help. Having been insomniac for many years my life has turned around amazingly. Their ideas and support have been instrumental in gaining a level of control about my sleep patterns I didn’t think possible. The one on one sessions let me see how to work around the difficult times at night. Some of their exercises I just didn’t get on with, so I learned to use another way without panicking about the remaining hours of potential sleep. I will definitely keep on with my training. Thank you.

My sleep pattern has improved significantly, since being referred to the sleep station.They gave me different techniques to help with my sleep which really worked. I would definitely recommend them.

Having had insomnia for many years and using what I considered "helpful techniques " (they didn't work) I was cynical when I went through the referral process.
I asked to be referred by my GP. The process was quick and simple and Sleepstation kept me informed of the process.
Its a weekly programmer that begins with writing down your sleep pattern and your thoughts and emotions.
After a week of a diary, Sleepstation then provide you with a guidance of a diary of your sleep and suggested hours to be in bed.There are weekly reviews by sleep coaches and encouraging techniques and resources regularly and weekly check ins.There are added resources tailored to your life patterns
Insomnia feels very isolating and in no way did I feel that. You can ask questions and they are answered by a sleep coach.
I am now on week 7 and after following the suggested sleep pattern tailored to me for the first time in years I feel in control of my sleep rather than it being in control of me. At times its been cathartic and emotional but I am so pleased I have done this programne.
Writing this now, I am now experiencing nearly 7 hours sleep undisturbed at night.
I will continue after I have completed Sleepstation with daily reflective diaries, and having a structured time to go to bed and get up.
I strongly recommend this programne if. like me you were spending many hours awake and tossing and turning and feeling so isolated.

This has made a huge difference to my sleep, it's changed the strategies that weren't working for me and replaced them with ones that are highly effective. This has made an enormous difference to my ability to sleep and reduced anxiety I had about sleeping. The programme is tailored to your individual needs and a bespoke plan is devised and if necessary changed to meet your needs.

Takes 6 days to respond to messages and the responses i did get were quite generic. Felt positive about it at the start but then my sleep was deteriorating and I wasn't getting support just logging a sleep diary and watching weekly videos.

I was referred by my GP to Sleepstation which was being offered as a free service by our NHS Trust. Having had poor quality sleep since a child which had become insomnia as a result of my various health conditions I was sceptical that anything would work. I was proven wrong and after completing the Sleepstation plan I am enjoying better sleep than I can remember. It has improved my quality of life and I am enjoying myself. My chronic pain frequently interrupts my sleep but instead of spending hours awake I use the interventions I learnt and get back to sleep. I do have the odd bad night, but who doesn’t but I know it is no longer the norm. I highly recommend Sleepstation if you’re struggling to get a good night’s sleep Ann, from Somerset

I have felt very ill at times on this course due to lack of sleep. Setting the alarm at the same time regardless of how much sleep I've had is horrendous. Imagine just dozing off properly and waking after a couple hours! My immune system which is normally very good gave up the ghost on several occasions and I got one bug after another. The advice on the videos was very simplistic for anyone who has looked into the problem before. The advice on the messages was disconnected and on one occasion laughable. After 6 weeks of little improvement it was suggested that it was normal to wake in the night and when I do not to worry about it as it makes it worse. This made me wonder if the coaches had experienced long term insomnia. So what makes a expert someone who knows or someone who understands?
Having read other poor reviews I don't have any new improvements to offer. Perhaps implementing those already on here.

I was unsure whether Sleepstation would work for me as I had been taking sleeping tablets for the last ten years, progress seemed slow at the beginning of the course but by the end of the fourth week I started to begin feeling confident that the course was actually working, I was beginning to worry less about getting to sleep and instead just focused on getting to sleep using the techniques that Sleepstation gave me, I can highly recommend Sleepstation to anybody that has difficulty in getting a good nights sleep, there will be no more sleeping tablets for me and I can’t thank the Doctors and staff enough at Sleepstation for giving me the tools to achieve this, thank you to all at Sleepstation.

I can't actually believe that for the first time in a decade I don't worry about sleeping. Even if I have a bad night I just don't let it worry me anymore, this course has changed everything. I'm a stickler for rules and although I found it extremely hard at times, I stuck to it 99% of the time and it worked. Trust the process. I will say that if you are expecting alot of personal support, then don't, although I got messages they rarely answered my questions and very much felt like platitudes.
Also, it's normal to relapse, keep that in mind. At week 3 at the point they say most see improvements, I went downhill and was looking for reassurance that it was normal (I started to panic that my hard work had been for nothing you know what the tired mind is like) and didn't get a straight answer so I read a book about CBT-i and realised it's all part of the process, instantly this reassurance calmed me down and had me sleeping better. The messages are once weekly too, not 2-3 days as stated.
Aside from that, this course is worth the money, I couldn't get referred so paid it myself and it is worth ever penny. Today was my final day and I can honestly say I feel prepared to manage my sleep and I don't think I'll worry about sleeping anymore, even on the bad nights which are now rare.

Just finished a 7 week program which the NHS have paid for and my sleep is no better. All they did was recommended a time to go to bed and get up, there was no support because every time I sent a message it took 5 days or more for a response, this isn’t helpful. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time as this program has not improved my sleep at all, which is so frustrating.

I really felt that I was listened to, understood and supported and was able to freely express myself if I wasn't altogether sure the advice was right for me. As a result, after sleeping really badly for over twenty years I now sleep well and feel so much better and healthier. All in a short 6 weeks! Amazing. Thank you.

Hi. Every bit they advice or try to do You can find online for free. Answer time is one or two days for a question.
It does not work for somebody who start work at various times and live in lorry all week.
It is shocking NHS approved that and pay for it.

I had suffered terribly from insomnia and was offered this course by my doctor to help overcome the issue. Started the course some 6 weeks ago and have found it to be fantastic. Initially i have to say I was sceptical as it did not seem to help but over the course of the treatment I can see the benefits of undertaking the treatment. Whilst I am not yet complete for my treatment my sleeping pattern has stabilised and I am now experiencing good sleep nights. Still feeling a bit tired each day but more and more i can feel my general health in relation to my sleep deprivation easing

I’ve been having poor sleep for around 9 months and after trying a number of different remedies such as hypno and vitamin supplements and nothing was working I felt I’d got to the point where I needed intervention from my doctor. The last thing I expected was to be “prescribed” CBT but I was willing to give it a go. I didn’t realise however that it was an app with supporting advice and messages from sleep counsellors. At first I was a little sceptical, frustrated and disappointed not to have face to face help….I wrong could I be?! It’s been an amazing experience and I found I was sleeping so much better in just 2-3 weeks. I read the resources, watched the videos and submitted my sleep diaries daily. I’d highly recommend it but you do have to follow it and use the resources and plans they provide you with. It’s really simple, no nonsense and intuitive. I’ve just got one week left of the programme and I’m feeling much happier, refreshed, healthier, resilient and sleeping well. If you’re suffering with poor sleep, don’t leave it any longer, make an appointment with your GP and ask for a referral for Sleepstation.
