I called and talked to Matthew about a casket for my son I let him know what I wanted he took advantage of the fact that my son's favorite color was red and sent me what he wanted he even started with one price and then changed to another saying it was taxes I went alone with it,I had to change funeral homes the casket was supposed to be custom so it hadn't been shipped so he charged me for changing where to ship even though it hadn't been shipped I went alone with that it was supposed to be 18 gauge he sent 20 it was supposed to have round corners he sent square he is a CROOK with capital letters I don't know if it was racist or not at first it didn't seem like it but there was a underlying motive to deceive me during a very vulnerable moment one thing I do God is not to be mocked everything you do from now on will crumble I'll read about sky Casket.

Gouged me for another $540 for what I had already paid $395 for overnight shipping. Shame on you.

They where able to get us the casket we wanted as a free upgrade and have it delivered when promised.

This transaction couldn’t of run smoother. When I called to order and talked with Matt he assured me that everything would be taken care of. The casket arrived next day at the exact time he said it would - he said that the red cedar casket would be beautiful and it most definitely was. People commented that it was the most beautiful casket they had ever seen. My brother deserved the best and we got it! Thank you Matt!

BE VERY CAREFUL
I purchased the basic pine casket and next day shipping online four days before the funeral. I immediately got a phone call stating that although the website said it was in stock it wasn’t. But, for the same price, I could get a much nicer casket. It would only cost $700 more. I had 14 minutes to decide because the truck is ready to go.
I have seen the same tactic of this high pressure sales - “the truck is loading and needs to leave now” - reported in many other reviews. I have also read reviews of unexpected charges. I haven’t seen my credit card statement yet but I am concerned that there could be unauthorized charges.
It was a nice casket and arrived on time.

Update: 16 months after this review I received a response. The reply stated that up charge was for transportation and that the company ate some of the costs.
The original casket, “for the same price”, was traveling from and to the same destination.
I stand by my statement of high pressure sales tactics. “The truck is leaving in 15 minutes and you need to decide now.”

Excellent customer service and the casket exceeded my expectations in quality.
The value for the money was Excellent. And it arrived as promised, the next morning to New York.

Not only did Matt make the process of ordering a casket seamless and as pain free as possible, he made sure to give me details I didn’t think to ask.
