Pas [encore] d'inflation observable chez Simons

Client de longue date ici. J'aimerais qu'ils offrent une option de livraison plus rapide via UPS ou Fedex plutôt que toujours le standard livraison gratuite via Postes Canada. Je vous ai déjà écrit 2 fois pour m'en plaindre et espérons que cette review Trustpilot parviendra à faire bouger les choses enfin.

Cela étant dit, je dois cependant m'incliner devant le rapport qualité-prix offert encore cette année par Simons. En cette période inflationniste, Simons reste l'un des rares grands magasins de vêtements en ligne au Canada continuant d'offrir les mêmes prix que ceux de l'année 2018 à sa clientèle. Bravo.

Awful delivery

Simons uses Nation Ex for their shipping which is probably the worst shipping company. They advertise 4 to 7 business days for delivery, but it takes much longer than that. When I have emailed customer service about my orders being late, they don’t do anything. Why say it’ll take max 7 business days when this is clearly not the case and you won’t even help your customers? Every other shipping company will take half the time Nation Ex does.

Inflexible & annoying shipping options

I do all my shopping online due to the raging pandemic (omnicron), even my groceries. I’m at higher risk to end up in the ICU and I want to spend as little time as possible out in public spaces.
I recently placed an online order with Simons. I wasn’t able to manually update that I’m okay with the package being “safe dropped” outside my door. I live in a safe neighborhood with houses and there’s never any thefts of parcels around here.
I’m sure we have all experienced mail delivery companies not even attempting to delivering parcels, just throwing the notice-for-pickup on the door and then leaving. This happened with my order from Simons despite both me and my husband working from home. To my surprise, Simons have some really strange agreement with Canada Post that won’t even allow me so send someone else to the post office to pick up the parcel.
I emailed Simons and suggested that perhaps they should allow customers to choose to have their package “safe dropped” if they want, given it’s a raging pandemic.
They basically replied that they agreed it would be safer for customers if they’d allow safe-drop, but that it was more important to them that customers in appartment complexes would be able to recieve their parcels safely.
In other words, Simons doesn’t want to take responsibility for lost goods, at the expense of their customers personal safety during a pandemic.
It is safe to say, I won’t be shopping anything else from Simons as long as they cannot get more flexible and cater to our needs (like literally every other online e-commerce site does).

Misleading delivery info.

I usually love simons but this time not so mutch, the say on the site that the delivery will be made by Canada post but it not. It deliver by Nationex a realy bad delivery company, the fact that it not deliver by Canada post mean that there is 95% chance I won't be getting my delivery because I'm working and also I will lose all the rebate i got on it. If they said it wasn't Canada post I would have a it deliver to the store.

Great products and service!

I have shopped online many times with Simons during the pandemic and the ship to store is a great service. Quick turnaround and polite, friendly and helpful Simons customer service employees when you pick up. Products are great quality for the price. My “go to”store,

I live close to a store so it was easy…

I live close to a store so it was easy to return any clothing that didn't fit. I ordered online during covid and everything went fine. The quality is decent for what you pay for and is similar to other fast fashion brands such as Zara or H&M

Missing items in shipments

I’ve ordered from Simons several times and always had a good experience. But this time I ordered a huge order weighing 37 lbs, so they shipped via purolator instead of Canada post. I had 7 things missing in my package!!!!! I’m so furious and this is beyond frustrating. Their customer service closes early so I can’t even talk to anyone.

Poor quality

I would have to say that I'm skeptical about the quality of Simons merchandise. I ordered some clothing, which arrived promptly. But everything shrank when I washed it - though I washed it in cold water and didn't put it in the dryer. The inside seams also frayed after one washing.
The items I ordered had all received glowing reviews on the Simons website, which makes me wonder about the authenticity of the reviews and/or the consistency of the quality of the products being sold. I doubt I will order from them again.

SIMONS IS AMAZING

I’m quite surprised of the bad reviews. Simons is my go to store for absolutely everything and out of maybe 100 orders i’ve only been disappointed once. Customer service is great, shipping is quick, and they have a great selection of clothes, designers, home decor. They have been struggling a bit with order processing time because of the pandemic, but I consider this a minor issue compared to all the positive there is to aay about the company. I 100% recommend ordering from Simons to everybody

Simons Oriental Diamond Rug

Ordered the Oriental Diamond Rug on 1/25 and received it on 1/29! Great quality for the price (25% off). it’s a lovely and unique design. I’ve always love Simons Home.

My order status has been “in progress”…

My order status has been “in progress” for the past 7 days and based on what I’ve read so far it’s likely to be cancelled a week later without explanation... maybe if this happens to 10 of us, we could send their CS a group email asking for an explanation.

First time buying online with Simons

I will never buy online with Simons again. I may just stop buy from that store!
Made a order of 10 items online on the 6th of January at the time all the items were at the stores around my city but because of covid I preferred to do online shopping which I did lots of times with other stores and never had problems. First I received the email saying other was in progress and today I called customer service to know why was taking so long to get the shipment...they answered the warehouse was one week behind because of covid....
And at 22:30 I received a email with a order cancelation...I did cancel anything and the other reason it’s because they don’t have the items but I search into the web site and some of the items are still available in the web site and some of the stores!
How can they cancel a order like that without explanation 2 weeks after...

Canceled my order after 12 days without an explanation!

I got this unbelievable serves from Simons. Actually, I could not get any serves at all. I bought 3 items on the 30th of December. After 12 days without an update, they just send me an email saying my order was canceled! No explanation, no compensation! And they put this sentence under the email: "Thank you for trusting Simons!". Well, there will not be a second time!

J'ai passé une commande le 27 décembre…

J'ai passé une commande le 27 décembre et ma commande n'a pas été traitée.

J'ai passé une autre commande le lendemain et elle a été traitée, puis envoyée. Je pense donc que la première commande a été oubliée. J'ai téléphoné le 11 janvier pour savoir où ils en étaient et, surprise, ce matin, la commande était annulée.

Comme de raison, il ne reste plus des articles que je voulais commander et je devrai en chercher ailleurs.

C'est justement ce que j'aurais dû faire avant : magasiner ailleurs pour être certaine de recevoir mes achats!

Fâchée? Oui! Déçue? Aussi!
