replacement I received had a damaged UW camera.

I filed a claim because I lost my phone. The response times were good, however, I find it unfair to pay a monthly fee for insurance and additionally a high co-payment to receive a refurbished phone, and not only that, the replacement I received had a damaged UW camera.

I used servify through my Samsung care plan for my phone a couple times now and each time was painless and the replacement device came quickly.

Replacement device sent with a damaged UW camera

The delivery time was fine, but they sent me a device with a damaged UW camera. The camera video was shaky and made a loud noise, making it impossible to take pictures. I find it unfair to pay a monthly insurance fee and a $150 copay to receive a used, refurbished, and in this case, damaged phone.

I was able to immediately take my phone in for repair. The worker at the repair store was friendly and professional. They were able to fix my phone same day.

It feels like a scam

It feels like a scam. My plan gets placed on hold because of my payment "not going through". After they due their investigation (weeks) they tell me they apologize and reactivate my plan. The latest has been them placing my plan on hold for months, and I have to deal with a broken phone myself. This has been the issue every time I try to use my plan. I would caution with this plan, and would recommend using other companies

Do not trust Servify - They Lie and the violate their Policy

12/5 Update to my Servify horror story. So I filed my 3rd claim to get this fixed and they send me drum roll - a Fold Z 7 that I cannot use because it is not compatible with the Verizon network and voicemail. I now have to waste time returning another phone and I still have no voicemail and now I cannot even get them on the line. I will be letter BBB know that they make it so you cannot talk to anyone despite two phone numbers and I still have no resolution. If I have to keep sending out complaints all over social media, here and every other online forum I will until they send me the correct model number.
12/3 Thank you for responding to my original review. It should not take almost 2 months, over 32 hours of phone calls to servify, 12 emails with your support team, 2 visits to Verizon, 3 claim filings, a BBB complaint, a direct email complaint, a trust pilot complaint and 2 calls to Samsung tech support to just get this fixed. This started as a free broken screen fix and you turned it into a nightmare and possibly lost me business in the process with missed voicemails. You should have never violated your terms and conditions when told the model was wrong with the replacement. And your reps should have never told me to just manually call voicemail as a work around on a $2k phone and I should just be fine with the replacement. Expectation to make this right is: the correct model phone to be replaced and the $99 fee returned to be the minimum you should do. Frankly you should refund me the total I paid for insurance as well.

*Do not trust Servify - they violate their policies. I filed a claim for a cracked screen on my FoldZ6 on 10/14. They could not source the product to repair locally and after making me wait for over 2 weeks I had to file a full claim and pay $99 instead of it for free. Then the fun started. I received my new phone and they sent me the wrong model. The sent me one that did not have Verizon's software installed and I have not been able to check my voicemail for since Nov 4th. It is now Dec. 3rd. I have been fighting with them for a month and then they closed out my claim. How do you support having a $2K phone and not have voicemail. I have spoken to 10 different people and I am told to go to Verizon to get it fixed or to download it from Playstore. It is preloaded so it is not a downloadable application. This is ridiculous - I am going to have to make another claim pay $99 and then hope they send me the right model. No one will help me and they have no clue about the technology or products. I cannot possibly be the only Verizon customer having this problem.

Unscrupulous

The company, and all documentation on their website and in email, state that you have 30 days to return the defective/damaged item. However, 12 days after receiving my new phone, I get a text stating that my credit card was charged $990 because the damaged phone was not returned. I returned it within the 30-day window expressed online in the claim submission documents. I received the replacement device on 10/21/2025 and they received the damaged device on 11/17/2025 - 27 days total. Well within the 30 days stated in the original communications.

We would like to clarify that once a replacement device is delivered, you are given 10 days to return the defective device to avoid being charged the non-return fee. This information was also shared with you by email when the replacement request was raised. As of now, you have already returned the defective device, the non-return fee refund has been processed, and the issue has been resolved.

Canciled phone insurance with no warning. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ohh a d even though their response says I was "notified" apparently by a phone call then leave a message, they did not so obviously I didn't receive any warning as I was away from my phone at that point!
