I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience involving Smartdealbay.com often referred as Savvysmartdeal.com. with Bright Buy responding to emails. The 3 week shipping delay was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I canceled the order and refused delivery, yet the item wa still shipped.I returned the package promptly but have not received a refund. Multiple attempts to contact the merchant Bright Buy (smartdealbay.com) have gone unanswered. Lack of transparency, poot communication and absolutely no accountability--buyer Beware.

The checkout was ridiculous.
The checkout was ridiculous when you keep putting extras before you can check out. I ended up with warranty the I did not want. This was after I clicked on Paypal for payment. Do my best to let everyone know.

False advertising
I placed an order in early December for 3 Starscopes planned for Xmas presents. Your ad confirmed items in stock. Around the 23rd of December I enquired if the order had shipped. I received a reply that my order had been cancelled by user, and that I would receive a full credit. I responded that I had not cancelled the order, however it now was too late, as these were Xmas gifts and that we missed the window. To my surprise, I received an email that the order was shipped on Jan.26th. Approximately 6 weeks from when the order was placed, I have now received the order. Shame on you's for accepting orders, when out of stock, after confirming you had stock. A pretty bush league attempt at taking an order, without being honest, just to book a sale. I will not consider a purchase from such a company again.

Rip off
I ordered dec15. My credit card was charged immediately. By January 15 I hadn’t got it yet so asked for a refund. They said they would call back because something with their computers wouldn’t let them. It hadn’t shipped yet. Didn’t call back. I call again a couple days later and oh ya now it has shipped. So no they can’t refund. Now it’s 2 weeks later and I still haven’t received anything. Will NEVER buy from savvy smart again. Total scam outfit in my opinion

Terrible experience
The item I purchased was a camera light bulb.upon receiving it I realized that if I used it, I would not have a functioning porch light. Besides the monthly fee was not in my budget. I returned the bulb in its original packaging and received notice from UPS the it was signed for by Roxanne. Not only have I not received a return,but also, 2 months in I haven’t received any response from Savvysmartdeals. So presently I’m out for the cost of the camera and the cost of shipping it back there

We tried this at our front door. The light output was too low and didn't stay on long enough. We found the alarm noise to be quite annoying, as well. Going to return it.

I want to return item i purchased. On 12-27 2025, i sent an email and left a voice message requesting a return label or invoice. As of today, I haven't gotten any type of response. Service i received is horrible.
They will charge you monthly for apps you didn't buy
Ordered a security camera. My daughter told me it was probably not any good, but I figured it was too late to cancel since supposedly they shipped it, except there was never any tracking number, so they actually didn't ship it. Anyway, since there was no tracking number, I could ask PayPal for a refund since they never shipped. The camera came with an $8/month subscription which I also asked to be refunded. After those refunds, they started to charge me for some apps I never ordered and don't know anything about. I am still trying to get my money back for those.
