WORST AIRLINES EVER!!!

WORST AIRLINES EVER!!!! PLEASE DONT COME HERE I PROMISE YOU this airline single-handedly has to be the worst airline of all time I mean the staff or nice other than that one out of 10 the problem arises at the airport. We came to the airport one hour and 10 minutes beforehand and they said the gates are closed for some reason. Wow no other airport does that I don’t know why this specific airport did that when we were an hour and 10 minute before our departure time and they said the gates are closed no, you can’t you can’t go so and then they and we asked them can we refund our tickets they said no the staff are very mean they don’t want to do anything they want. They want to talk to people in a rude manner. They do not want to resolve our issues so we were stuck in the airport for four hours while we didn’t have a ticket and then we went back and got a hotel and we’ve been in the hotel since.

AVOID this criminal airline

Criminal, corrupt airline. Layers and layers of egregiousness with this horrible company. Cancelled our flights back to the US from Cairo twice, with the second cancellation accompanying a rebooking for nearly TWO WEEKS later, with no alternative flight options. Effectively stranded us in the Mideast with two young children. To make matters worse, the airline provides absolutely no way to contact them while overseas, despite assistance from our Cairo hotel staff, etc. We spent hours searching for a phone number, email address, Whatsapp number, anything, to no avail. Finally, we got a family member in the US to contact them on our behalf, and after multiple phone calls and being given inconsistent information, our fam member was told that the airline would not rebook us on any earlier flights (though they existed both through this airline and sister airlines), and that they could only cancel and offer other options if we paid out of pocket. As if the shock of this approach wasn't enough, when we decided we had no choice but to opt for the cancellation option and rebook ourselves, Saudia Air initially said we could cancel directly with them over the phone for the refund, but when our fam member attempted to do that, they pivoted and said we had to go through Expedia, because the flights had been booked through them initially. Desperate for a resolution, we ultimately paid out of pocket to get ourselves out of Egypt through a different airline, and now, nearly two weeks later, both we and Expedia are still battling this despicable airline for the refund of our cancelled flights. We are in the process of taking legal action against this airline, filing complaints with the DOT, and have also involved our credit card company. As an addon, if we had waited in Egypt until their proposed date of nearly two weeks after our scheduled flight out, we'd have now been stuck there given the current Mideast conflict, which began after we left the country. Do yourself a favor and avoid Saudia Air like the plague. Their actions essentially amount to criminality/theft in the US.

Provano a rubarvi i soldi!!!

Pessima esperienza. Ho prenotato un volo sul sito con l'opzione economy flex quindi rimborsabile in caso di mia cancellazione.
Quando ho dovuto cancellarlo, sul sito è stato impossibile poiché mi chiedeva una verifica di autenticazione con SMS sul mio numero di telefono ma non mi arrivava mai (controllato più volte che il numero di cellulare era corretto).
Ho dovuto contattare il servizio clienti al numero +390230566320 e mi hanno risposto che dovevo fargli un pagamento con carta di credito di 200 euro se volevo fare la richiesta di rimborso (900 euro circa). Non mi sono fidato ed ho letto bene le condizioni che non parlavano di questo pagamento. Ho così contattato un altro numero (+3906895848) e qui mi hanno detto di scrivere a GCCBACKOFFICE @ saudia.com per il rimborso. Fatto e mi hanno rimborsato il biglietto con trattenuta di 8 euro.
Quindi fate attenzione se prenotate con loro, alcuni dipendenti provano a rubarvi i soldi!!!!!

Nicely surprised

We recently took Saudia from Manchester > Kuala Lumpur with a stop in Jeddah.

They would never have been our first option. We chose them in a spat of desperation as we had literally just been offloaded from our flight via the UAE due to the issues that are happening there.

We didn’t know what to expect.

The pre booked seating fee was very reasonable compared to all the other big airlines.

When we first walked in the plane, it was very dull. The decor is very minimal.

Crew seemed nice and were very friendly. English was good enough but limited.

There were some good new movies to watch on the entertainment.

Comfort pack was given on each flight with a mask, socks, toothbrush and ear plugs.

Food wasn’t amazing but wasn’t bad either. There was a meat and veg version to choose from.
We had a meal and a snack on each flight (Jeddah to KUL they did snack then meal)

There was no alcohol as it’s a totally Islamic run flight. Fruit juice, coke, 7up, tea and coffee were plentiful.

Arabic is the first language on the flight.

While boarding the tv and speaker have what I think was prayer. Also, through the flight announcements are made for prayer. You can then this off on your tv screens so it doesn’t interrupt entertainment.

We chose to sit at the back of the plane. They had the prayer area here. It honestly caused us no bother at all. It did get busy but everyone was respectful of each other.

On the flight MAN > Jeddah - it felt very social. A lot of people going to complete pilgrimage and they were all chatting to each other and sharing stories. It felt really nice to see.

The flight to KUL was more low key as it was at night.

Jeddah was a boring airport. A few shops and food places. The seats were majorly uncomfortable. Got some cigarettes for my mom, 200 Marlboro cost £27. My pal got chesterfield 200 for £17. About £1 for a bottle or water / can of pop.

Would I use them again? Not as my first choice. But I wouldn’t write them off.

Definitely worth a go if your brain accepts that we aren’t all the same!

My bag was damaged during my trip to India in Sept 2025. I had filed a complaint soon after picking up my bags from carousel. Its been 4 months since my complaint was registered but i have not received a single response from them. They deserve 0 starts

Corporate Service Unacceptable

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my experience with Saudia over the past two years. I have flown with your airline multiple times for business, yet I have consistently been unable to have my AlFursan miles correctly credited.

Despite repeated attempts through the app, email correspondence, phone calls, and in-person visits to the airport desk, the issue remains unresolved. There appears to be no effective process for resolving this matter, which has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

As a frequent business traveller, I expect a more professional and responsive level of service. Unless this issue is addressed promptly and my missing miles are credited, we will have no choice but to reconsider our future business with Saudia.

I would appreciate a clear response outlining how this will be resolved.

😡😡😡Avoid travelling with Saudi airlines at all costs! They denied me to board the plane by inventing fake visa rules to a third country (Singapore), in fact they claimed they are doing this to all Ukrainians, which makes me feel that they simply want to humiliate my nation and all its citizens. I had a legal right to travel as I’m eligible to visa-free 96 hour stay because I had a flight ticket, visa and hotel booking to a third country, yet Saudia refused to even look at all my documents (while Singapore government authorities and lawyers confirmed to me that I was acting correctly). Saudi airlines completely destroyed my vacation (as I lost everything: airplane tickets, hotel booking and dreams to see new countries). They also refused to refund my ticket or any fees or taxes (which is illegal!). Very disappointed!

Je laisses une étoile car je peux pas mettre 0 étoile. Ma valise a été perdu un vendredi 20 février pour un voyage Marseille jeddah. Elle a été retrouvé le samedi. Et depuis j’attends la livraison de ma valise nous sommes mardi 24. Ils ne savent pas où est ma valise un livreur devait me livrer mais Monsieur en a décidé autrement. Plus jamais cette compagnie. L’aéroport ne réponds jamais le service bagages ne réponds jamais au final un aéroport désert

Worst Airline Experience I Have Ever Had – Cancellation, Delays, and Inadequate Compensation

My experience with Saudia Airlines has been extraordinarily frustrating and disappointing.

My return flight was cancelled with only two days’ notice and no meaningful explanation beyond “operational reasons.” The alternative offered involved a layover of more than 15 hours, compared to the original itinerary’s short connection, which was completely unreasonable.

After declining this impractical option, the refund and compensation process became a prolonged ordeal lasting months.

Major problems included:

• Flight cancelled at very short notice
• Poor rebooking options with excessive layover times
• Extremely slow and ineffective customer service
• Lack of clear communication or accountability
• Compensation not provided in accordance with passenger rights expectations

Instead of a proper cash compensation, I eventually received a small voucher that did not reflect the disruption and inconvenience caused. This was particularly disappointing given the significant delay and the regulatory framework governing cancellations.

Attempting to obtain a fair resolution required repeated complaints, regulatory escalation, and significant personal effort. The airline’s responses were slow and did not demonstrate genuine concern for the passenger’s situation.

Overall, this experience fell far below what any passenger should reasonably expect from an international carrier. I would not choose to fly with Saudia Airlines again.

awful customer service

NEVER EVER BOOK IT

Worst experience ever . Booked a flight from Delhi IGI to New York JFK . Supposed to fly today on feb 22 2026 at 8 pm and i got an email from them around 2 am in the morning saying your flight has been rescheduled for March 7th which is like 2 weeks .they send me the emails to check in 2 days earlier and till 12:30am and then at 2 am this stupid email they shared . Pathetic experience never ever book this flight . Paid extra for premium extra leg room seats as well when i ask them to cancel it they said there will be a penalty charge for it . Horrible experience wish i can give 0 stars. Now the other flights costing me more and they are not taking any responsibility for the price increase .

I wouldn’t even give a star

I wouldn’t even give a star, the worst airline I have ever booked with. From the point of check in, the staff were rude and unhelpful. The airline always has delays and cancellations. Personally will never travel with them again. I’d rather pay more for my ticket than ever travel with them. Honestly pathetic.

If Ryanair was benchmark, Saudi is worst than Ryanair

I travelled again on this airline as my last experience from Europe to Saudi Arabia was good, however traveling this time from Riyadh to Jeddah was the worst experience, no customer service, rude staff, when I booked the flight it said food however an ice cream was offered 😁, congested seats, noisy cabin, from start finish it was a disaster, if Ryanair was benchmark, Saudi Airlines is worst than Ryanair. A lot needs to be improved especially a smile doesn't cost anything.

Saudia airlines is the worst Airline…

Saudia airlines is the worst Airline out there. Due to a delayed flight, I missed a layover at Jeddah Airport. I got stuck there for 24 hours. Meanwhile, their staff was super rude and refused to help me. Now, 2 months later, I've sent multiple emails to claim my costs I made at the airport and they're ignoring them all. I tried multiple ways to contact them, but the company literally does not care.
