Bad experience that was solved in the end (eventually)
An 18 month process for 3 sets of sash windows and a set of balcony doors. Communication, finishing, service, survey work and the entire process was painful throughout, endless confusion and bad workmanship. The manufacturing work was very good but installation awful until the end when they eventually provided one of their team that was good at his job. They had a set team of workmen, which were awful and I don't think are working there anymore so were perhaps unfortunate but it's not the customer who should deal with the impact. They did in the end sort everything out and I respect them for that but it was not a good experience.

Hello Chris. That is a relatively fair assessment.
We agree that your job did not go as well as we should have done, we apologise for this and we are glad that we could resolve everything for you in the end.
This is a job where we were specifically requested to fit new timber double-glazed sashes into the existing frame. Due to the fact that your windows were replaced by a different company 5 years ago you urged us to replace only the sashes as they were not made well but you believed that the box frames were in a good condition. We were happy to give this a go.
Upon manufacture and then on the day of installation on site our fitters informed us that the existing box frame was not in a good enough condition to be retained. This is our error from the survey visit, we should have insisted to replace the box frames but we were happy to try to see if new sashes only would work for you as this was specifically requested.
We then fully sorted everything out by manufacturing new box frames to go with the new sashes and then completing installation. Looking back at our records the 18 months you refer to indicates the time from which you first contacted us for a quote and not the total manufacture time.
When a client first contacts us we carry out a free site visit, send a quote, discuss the job, finalise the details and conduct a second survey. There is plenty involved which takes time not related to the manufacturing process.
Overall, we have learnt from this instance to improve for the future. We appreciate your feedback.

WSW was very professional, clear, and gave full information at all times. I appreciated the clarity of the contract, with practical information and opportunities to clarify any questions before committing to the purchase.
The windows were installed quickly and well. All staff was professional and friendly.

Second time and not disappointed
I'm happy to share my review of WSW's recent installation of sash windows in my home. I must say that their communication prior to the window installation was excellent. I was kept informed every step of the way, which gave me confidence that everything was being taken care of.
I was particularly impressed with the workmanship of Ghas, who carried out the installation. The attention to detail and skill level were evident, and the windows were installed to a very high standard. I appreciated the care and professionalism that Ghas displayed throughout the installation process.
Another thing that stood out to me was that the team made sure to leave the place clean between installations. There was no mess left behind, and my home was left in the same condition as it was before they arrived.
Overall, I'm very happy with the work that WSW did, this is the second time we've used this company and I would definitely use them again in the future. The quality of their workmanship and their attention to detail really sets them apart, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of window installation services. Thank you, WSW, for your excellent work!

I would recommend WSW
I would recommend WSW both to overhaul existing sash windows and to renew sash windows. The workmanship is excellent and customer relations is good. The lead time for the new windows was long but we are so pleased with the result - should have done it sooner.

Great quality but patience may be required
Quality product, expertly fitted. Only gripe was the length of time it took from initial order to eventual installation as the timescales extended beyond initial expectations. That said, they are probably busy for a reason.

Excellent Service, Excellent Products
Had new sash windows fitted in my apartment to replace the single glazed ones that were stuck in the frames. WSW were upfront about the turnaround from quote to fitting and were great with communication, especially where unavoidable delays were concerned. The fitters were professional and did an amazing job whilst on-site; I'm really pleased with the end result and love the new windows.
