They do not honor the 5 year warranty. Bait and switch. Sell the Cell for $360 but pro-rate at a much higher "retail" value 0f $890 so it is cheaper to buy another Cell than using the warranty. Do not use this company.

Misguided information.
Return policies of 20% for product sold with misrepresentation.
Seller is unprofessional, rude and has major attitude problems.
0% customer grievance and complaint handling policy.

I wish there was a negative star rating. They would definitely get 5 NEGATIVE reviews! We purchased a replacement Hayward salt cell less than a year ago and it has already gone bad. I contacted the company and they told me it was covered under warranty. They asked me to send the cell back and provide tracking information but they NEVER sent a replacement cell. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a reputable company. They have an F rating on the BBB for a reason!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They told me it was a direct fit, but it does not work at all. I showed them videos of it not working and they told me to send back at my expense. I sent it back and they refused the shipment! Now they are no longer answering my emails and the phone number just disconnects without every connecting!

Do not buy anything from this scam company. Cannot believe I didn't do my homework. Same exact experience as every other review on this and every other website. Nobody to blame but myself.

Ordered 2 items. Never got 1 and 2nd was damaged. They wouldn’t refund me unless I paid to send back. Shipping back was $400. Refund would have been $369. They wanted me to send to Australia. Refused to discuss anything or refund me for the item they never even sent me. Scammers.

If you had a zero i would select it. I entered a Chat with their website:
1. I asked for their Customer Service phone number: the number they gave me (888-874-2120)was bad.
2.I asked where the PLATINUM EDITION COMPATIBLE SALT CELL FOR HAYWARD® T-CELL-15® | 40,000 GALLONS | 5-YEAR WARRANTY, was made. Crickets.
3. Read the other reviews; look at the lack of customer satisfaction.

The 'warranty' is a scam. First of all the cell stopped working after less than two years, and after jumping through many hoops the warranty replacement was advertised 30% of the 'original price' ($890) which was nearly triple the actual price ($359). The way the warranty is set up, it would actually cost more to buy a warranty replacement after two years than to buy a new one. They don't seem to last more than two years even with careful maintenance and the warranty is near worthless. Won't buy from them ever again...

Stay away and order OEM. The products and "service" are deceptive. Ordered a salt cell generator, which leaked from the side = defective. I contacted them within a week, and they did not offer a refund for the defective unit. Their published return policy allows refunds in 30 days for defective. They sent a 2nd unit which was the incorrect model. That runs on a different AMP, which impacted the control board = damage to my pool equipment. The manager said 3x that he would request the refund exception in my case; maybe because the 2nd time affected my equipment (i.e. their negligence). I spent $50 in return shipping fees and they kept $120 for restocking fees. So, I am out $170 for trying to order a working product from Salt Pool Store. This is a dishonest business practice.

Ordered a cell and O rings. Never got the rings and the cell came damaged. They wanted me to send it back. I wss Supposed to pay to ship back. Even though I paid For them to ship to me and they sent me the damaged item. I never Got a refund for the missing items. Now they are not responding to anything. I bought another from a different company. I’m trying to get a refund.

What a rip off.. do not buy anything from this place.

This company is purposely involved in fraudulant practices. I purchased my second cell (yes I was stupid to try again) in December 2023, it was installed in the same month and stopped working in January 2024. I sent them all of the information that they requested, including paying for performance reports. They will not honor their 5 year warranty and it is impossible to leave a negative review and protect other consumers (even Google Reviews have become impossible to leave a negative review with) shame on this company (they say they are out of Australia, in fact they are from Bahrain.

YOUR Technical Team Shipped me a Thermistor to try and CORRECT your DEFECTIVE UNIT versus Ship me a NEW Unit----"YOU KNOW YOUR UNITS are NOT GOOD!" (ISN'T AMAZING that YOUR Company had a Supposed Work around for the HOT PROBLEM??????????)
I Will NEVER BUY from you again and I'll Do My BEST to SPREAD the Word: STAY FAR. FAR AWAY from the Salt Pool Store!!!!!

Awful company I told them exactly what model my salt system was the salesman (Tom) said yes this one is a direct fit and is what you need get it and it not compatible with my system doesn’t even have a part number on it…they will refund your money minus (20%restocking fee )if you ask me this is how they make there money !!Compay website says it’s Tennessee part came from Australia and had to send part back to Texas hummm i think this company in a whole is a scam !!!

I ordered a Platinum Edition Compatible Salt Cell for Hayward® T-CELL-3® on the 3rd of Mai. The delivery was today, only 7 days later on the 10th of Mai with FedEx. The product runs perfect, no cheap materials, neatly processed.
I can give them only 4 stars, because they forgot to pack the also ordered O-rings. But ok, its not a big thing. I am shure to find some here in Germany.

No option to give 1/4 star. I bought a aftermarket Hayward T15 compatible cell May of 22. It lasted less than a year. I had to pay to send it in for warranty. They sent a replacement. From day one the replacement didn't read correct salt reading so I just dealt with it and had to recalibrate the cell about once a week. No not even a year later wont maintain a salt reading even for 2 hrs. I reached out for warranty info and again sent it in for repair or replacement. They send me an email saying i have to pay $267 to get my warranty replacement because the warranty is based off first purchase date. I find it suspicious that both of them that were brand new didn't even last a year. So what I give them the $267 and then a year from now it dies again. I am not the only one with this problem i see now by reading reviews on Trustpilot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL. SCAMMERS

bought a salt cell from them that doesn't work will not produce any chlorine at all. I have tried to call them repeatedly and all that happens is I get disconnected cant get hold of anyone. so basically I feel that I just got screwed out of almost $500 for a unit that doesnt work its to bad there isn't a 0 ratting.

Exact same experience as all others. Faulty heat sensors twice within 6 months, complete failure in 15 months. Paid $309, wanted $240 to replace after spending $20 to send back. Billed me the replacement cost before they even received the unit. The owner is Nick Millar in Australia. US addresses are just shipping companies. Guy is being sued by Hayward and others. Complete scam.

Stay away and agree Google should block all his websites.

Ordered a salt cell to replace my Hayward salt cell. It showed up in a box that was surprisingly flimsy considering the contents. Inside there was no padding or way to secure the salt cell, just a little bubble wrap. The cell was smashed and a large piece of the hard clear plastic was broken off. I contacted the company and sent them pictures. I told them I wasn't surprised it was destroyed based on the very poor packaging. The customer service representative responded, "its not " Salt Pool Store's " fault that your product arrived damaged. I would suggest speaking to your local fedex driver"

I did not appreciate that response and told them the flimsy box wouldn't survive no matter who delivered it. Instead of a replacement I decided on a refund because I lost faith that this business was reputable. I sent it back in it's original packaging. The woman at the UPS Store was shocked when she saw how poor the packaging was. She put her finger under a label on it to peel it off and her finger went the box. We'll see if I get my refund or if I just got ripped off. My advice is to steer clear!
