Do NOT buy from this company. Their product will fail and they do not honor the warranty. Do your research. Buy from someone local or Amazon and get extended warranty.

Bout a T15 salt cell in July of 2023. Salt cell went bad. Filled out warranty form, tried their chat which supposedly sent an email. Sent multiple emails starting February 16, 2025, no response. Spoke to a man oncespoke to Cara twice. Still no response

Don’t buy anything from this Company. Paid 399$ for a salt cell Ecomatic Davey and it was never shipped. It was a scam. If you had a cero star to qualify I would use Cero

$399.00 for a Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell with| 5-Year Warranty July 2024 - leaked when installed. Called - they don't handle returns via calls, only email. MANY emails - had to pay to return defective item - then MORE emails for confirmation of return & refund - "New policy - store credit only" - wasn't their policy when I purchased. Went thru credit card I used to purchase-9 months later - CREDIT from my credit card co. If you've been screwed by this company - do not quit! Get your $$ back.

Much like many of the other reviews, I paid $359.99 for a T-15 Platinum salt cell in June of 2024 and it lasted about 5 months. I submitted the warranty request via the website per their instructions and have been completely ghosted since. No acknowledgment of receipt of the warranty request, requests for follow up on their chat were ignored, and all 4 phone calls to the main number resulted in dead air regardless of which option I chose. COMPLETE SCAM!!!

Like many others on this page, I bought a salt cell from them April, 2024 with a 5 year warranty. I stopped working 2/12/25. Filed a warranty request form 2/12/25- no response. Filled out a second warranty request form on 2/24/25. no response;. Tried to call on numerous occasions and also was hung up on. Spoke with someone twice - both times they just said - they were still looking into it. Chatted with a team member several times with the exact same response. This company is terrible.

Bought a chlorinator with Salt Pool Store. $359+ They claim 5 year warranty on Platinum Edition (Hayward clone) chlorinator. I am a certified pool operator and understand salt chlorination. It was giving false amps and consequently shut chlorine production down. I followed their return instructions and sent it back after a month. I have been back and forth on chats and calls and got no where. They tell you they will check with warranty department, ask you to write email to warranty and tech support.....no response from anyone. I guess I just lost $ 359+ to a scam company. Im surprised they are still in business with all of the other posts Ive read.

I'm a victim like many others. My salt cell failed after 4 months. Returned my salt cell for warranty repair and it's been two months with no results. Repeated phone calls and emails go unresolved, unanswered. I filed a complaint with BBB. Don't expect that it will help. They need a class action lawsuit filed against them.

Dont buy from them no customer support. Untill they sendme my new generator I will not change my review. They pretty much took my money and gave me nothing.

Don't buy from this company! Shame on me for not checking out the online reviews. My chlorine generator quit working after six months. I've tried contacting the company several times with no response back.

SALT POOL STORE --- IS A SCAM Ordered a salt cell, stopped working in less than 1 year. Filled out the warranty claim (5yr warranty when purchased).....NO RESPONSE. Emailed asking for a status .....NO RESPONSE Called....THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD THEN HANG UP Tried their "Chat" .....CHAT IS A SCAM, THIS PLACE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN !!!!

Bought salt cell in 11/23 - Lasted till 7/24. I contacted seller for warranty, and they quickly sent me an email with instructions on how to ship back, at my cost, at which point cell would be tested to see if it could be repaired or needed replacement.
Shipped cell back to them via UPS - I took the cell to local Pool supply store prior to returning and they tested and confirmed it had gone bad. Cell was received by SaltPoolStore on 12/16/24. I have since contacted them multiple times via email and phone with no response or reply.
How do we allow companies like this, from a foreign address, to operate within the United States. Hundreds if not thousands of reviews where everyone has been scammed out of their money. This is not a "one off" thing, it is intentional and flagrant and has been ongoing for some time.
Where is our Justice Department? Where is our Commerce Department?

Everything you've read about them is 100% true. They go beyond not honoring warranty items...they do not even respond. They simply do not care and their entire business model is based on bait and switch. An abhorrent company. Run like they have the plague!

FRAUD!! They make faulty cells and wont fix them. they tell you to send them in and they'll send out a new one but they'll ignore you and continue selling bad cells and never handle the claim. Its a full on scam with multiple fake US addresses and they operate from outside the country to avoid criminal prosecution. DO NOT BUY!!! REPORT THEM TO SHOPIFY AND ALL OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS LISTED ON THEIR SITE.

Salt cell was leaking in multiple spots after4 months. I returned for replacement. They received old cell and then sent a FedEx shipping notification that a label was created but have never received replacement salt cell. No one answers phone or emails. Lost $370 as it’s been 5 months now and no reply

Do not buy from this company unless you like throwing your money away. I ordered a salt pool cell, which arrived cracked and spewing water everywhere. After several emails, they finally said to return it, and I did. They printed a shipping label on Fedex but never shipped the product- 5 months later, I am still trying to get my money refunded. Just to let you know, they do not answer the phone.

I purchased a platinum salt cell which seemed like a good option. The cell lasted a little over a year. I filed a warranty claim and they responded so I sent in the salt cell as directed. Now, I can't get them to respond and it's been almost 3 weeks. No email and it appears the phone has been disconnected. Stay away!!!!

In May 2023 I bought a Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell for Hayward T-CELL-15 | 40,000 Gallons | 5-Year Warranty. It stopped working in less than one year. I contacted Saltpoolstore and was told to file a warranty request on-line. I did this well over a month ago. I got an email saying they recd it, since I have heard nothing. I have emailed, chatted, called. Nothing! They DO NOT honor warranties and do not respond. I am out $400, and will be taking legal action, even if it costs me $400!

Don’t buy anything! Warranty & return is fraud. T-Cells are fake! Six months in with NO request daily!

What went wrong?? I have had practically the same experience with this company that many others have had. Just read all the other reviews. This is absolutely the worst company to honor their warranty and for customer service. Bought the Platinum cell in June 2023. It lasted til early Nov 2024. Started showing "Hot" on the display board for the water temperature. I contacted the company and was told they would do 1 of 2 things. Either replace the cell or send a new temp sensor that I could replace myself. They sent instructions along with pics of replacing so I thought maybe that would be the easiest way to go. New sensor arrived in a week and I installed it. It did nothing to fix the problem so I contacted them about the procedure for returning the cell for warranty replacement. They just stopped corresponding and when called I either got a busy signal? or the called was auto answered and then was disconnected. This week after finally getting in touch with them they sent an email stating that I should send the cell back to them in Traverse City, MI at my expense of course. They would then evaluate the cell and let me know what they will do. They suggested I go to my local pool store and BUY a piece of pipe to put in place of the cell so that I can still operate the pump without the cell in place and to add chlorine manually to keep the pool chemicals correct. I told them I will not send the cell back until they have sent a replacement to install. Waiting to hear back, which I don't think they will respond. I would have given them ZERO stars if possible.
