Very fast reliable network. Almost always had full signal and 5g. Switched to competitor and signal worsened, only had lte on my galaxy. Competitor was even worse for my iPhone. Highly recommended to stick to sakura esim!

Sakura Mobile pocket WiFi was so easy to use straight away and was great to have throughout our trip to Japan for 3 weeks. It allowed the whole family to use data wherever we were and the battery usually lasted the whole day.

Everything worked out perfectly for me. I was able to activate the SIM card pretty easily after arriving at the airport in Japan. Customer service is also great and they respond very quickly to any questions.

Plans are Easy to understand, and signing up was easy.

Indoor connectivity may be lacking at times depending on location

I am using Sakura mobile since I moved to Japan. Foreigners might have a hard time to get a SIM and Japanese number from the local big 3 providers, but everything went smooth with Sakura. I also have the home internet with them, and they assisted with covnerting to physical to eSIM and eSIM transfer to new device promptly. Highly recommended.

This is by far the worst provider ever!!!! Even people who have studied IT get question marks when setting it up. Disaster. Only files can be uploaded, folders "no". Yes I can use a FTP app, but that's not the point. めちゃわかりにくい！NOT recommended. You'll get only frustrated!
Don't understand why reviews are good.

Everything worked perfectly, eSIM was really easy to install and use (I didn’t use the QR code but rather entered the codes manually) and it worked instantly without issues. The instructions are very clear and there is a step by step guide on how to install it.
I used the customer service as I had made an error in my email address, and they got back to me straight away and made the amendments and offered additional advice, such as not installing my eSIM until I landed in Japan to reduce the likelihood of any errors occurring.

Great help ! I had a problem setting my simCard and they helped me trying everything to make it work.

Everything was perfect. The sim card works very well and as soon as you put it in your Phone which I appreciate. The pick up was very fast, simple, and the staff at Fukuoka Airport was really nice. I recommend.

Uninterrupted mobile and internet service. Reliable. My only reason for discontinuing the Sakura service is the cost.

The Wifi worked perfectly during my entire trip to Japan. This is the fourth time I have used the Sakura Mobile Wifi. I used the device from 01-03-2026 till 31-03-2026.

Office is clean and sleek, tho text on the buisness centre that reads "authorized personnel only" did get me off track
