I ordered an Ottoman bed at the start of the summer holidays (I am a teacher) so that could have it delivered before I went back to school. I ordered a front opening one which they said they could do and was on the order. When it arrived it was a side opening one. Agreed to replace it and is now ready, have told them on numerous occasions in last week that I can now only receive it on a Friday as no one is at home and constantly getting emails saying delivery is on any day except a Friday. Have phoned Rowan 3 times this week and each time they say they will get back to me and still no reply by email or phone. Communication is awful once they get payment and don't seem to be able to organise their deliveries at all!

I recieved my order of a faux fur throw. It is beautiful, however,it sheds everywhere and not fit for purpose. I have emailed to request a refund and had no response. Kind regards Kara

Super experience today with Poppy, I visited the store last night, slept on all the items I was dwelling over, rang and placed the order on the phone this morning, and just learnt the items are on their way. Painless and super easy. Poppy was so kind and patient as I changed my mind mid discussion, there was nothing any trouble. Looking forward to receiving my order. Thank you :)

I purchased a bed from Roman homes in 2024. I had to delay the delivery due to my new home not being ready.
When the bed base was delivered the driver said it had been on the truck for a few months in the summer. The little truck had a Perspex roof and the bases were in plastic. When I took the plastic off I could smell mould and within a month that smell got worse and I complained. They refused to investigate it. The smell was getting worse but I couldn’t locate the source and then in summer 2025 the condensation moisture from being in the truck started to seep through to the fabric. I then got a knife and could see the mould around the cork bases. I emailed them again to be told it was out of warranty even though I had complained a month after receiving it.
A few months later after developing serious illness I took a knife to the entire bed base and was appalled at how much mould there was - external tests showed an excessive amount of Aspergillus which has serious health implications - especially if you are sleeping on it.

By mid 2025 | developed these serious health issues; asthma, reoccurring infections, neuralgia, migraines, chronic fatigue, sinus infections, osteoarthritis, thyroid imbalance, heart issues, cognitive impairment, hypertension, skin issues, adrenal fatigue, meningitis, gut issues, insomnia, vertigo and the start of degenerative cancer cells in my kidneys, liver and pancreas's - all linked to mould illness. I was bedridden for around 18 hours a day.
I complained and was offered £300 compensation.
I have since appointed a litigation solicitor and they will not take accountability for the serious impact that this had on my health and my financial status due to not being able to work.
I would not buy anything from rowen homes!

Very poor, I received a very poor quality item and asked for a replacement,
I was then told if wasn’t returned within a set time frame I would be responsible for paying for the return.
I sent item back at my own personal cost.
I received a refund but no refund for cost of return even though was faulty ?
No offer of replacement as clearly the replacement would have been no better
Shame as had things previous but clearly quality and standards have gone down.
Item look very cheap compared to previous items ordered before or the picture.
Then don’t honour the return

I’ve had a really positive experience with Rowen Homes. Maria was particularly helpful throughout, always friendly, responsive and happy to answer any questions. The customer service has been excellent and made the whole process very easy.
My only criticism would be the delivery time, which is quite long and something I feel could be improved.
Otherwise, I’ve been very impressed with the service and especially with Maria’s help. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful furniture, i've refurbished my whole apartment with Rowen furniture and accessories.
Just check delivery times on large items as my bed was an 8 week lead time.

I ordered a piece of wall art which arrived damaged. It was clearly an issue arising from the handling by the courier. However Rosie at Rowen resolved my issue fully, swiftly and to my satisfaction. I am impressed by the service and shall definitely purchase from Rowen again.

I have only bought some candles so far and was assured they were fabulous - and they are! Will be shopping more for sure, as will my daughters. Great experince and high end products.

Steph was amazing! I had an issue with some paint samples that had gone weird with the heat and she offered to replace the whole order.
