It was refreshing to hear from a riders point of view what goes on behind the scenes and what it takes to be a GP rider.
Being an ex rider from the late 80s and into the 90s made it even more interesting for me.
More riders should do the same.

In my view this is one of the best books I have read.
In my view this is one of the best reads I have had in such a long time. Being a motocross fan and ex racer myself albeit it not at this level the insight that Rob puts into this and the pictures were fantastic.
I have read it twice over now and I know I will do so again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. It gave you a great insight into the 500GPs in the 80s. And some awesome photos to go with it.

I loved every minute of this book
I loved every minute of this book! As a junior MXer in the 80s, I worshipped the GP guys and went to watch regularly. This book brought it all to life in glorious first person detail, with fantastic insight from Rob.
Thanks for a great read Rob, I wish there was more to the story, so you could write a sequel!!!

Reading this book brings great memories...
Reading this book, it is not only a great read, but brings so many memories of such a great time in Motocross, with references to many Riders names I hadn't heard of for quite a while, so many great riders in that era, sadly some no longer with us, You had a great adventure Rob, and it was a privilege to be able to share it, Thanks.

The inside line book
The inside line book, transported me back to hanging over the fences in Namur and standing under that huge double jump in Brou. It filled in the gaps that a Grand Prix fan never new.

A great read
A great read, the best Motocross book I’ve read and a true account of just how tough it was to make it as a pro rider back in the 80’s and 90’s. I particularly enjoyed the Namur sections as they are absolutely how I remembered things as a fan when I visited in the 80’s and 90’s! Also thoroughly enjoyed by my Dad, now well into his 90’s, who spent many an hour on my bikes and taking me all over when I competed many many years ago. Well done Rob and team!
