We are not just a canoeing company; we are brothers united by our passion for outdoor adventures. Since the 1980’s when our father formed our first canoe hire company on the River Wye, both Richard and I ( Mark ) have been involved in the adventure business, Mark forming The River Wye Canoe Hire Company and Richard along with our father forming Ross on Wye Canoe Hire Ltd. Followed by a close-knit group of outdoor enthusiasts and friends, our business is a true labour of love. Every adventure we offer is crafted to ensure that families and friends can embark on unforgettable journeys together. We believe that the best memories are made when surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, and we're committed to sharing that experience with you. Great day on the river
Great day on the river! We love this stretch of river and it's really special to see it from a canoe. We would thoroughly recommend doing this.

A wonderful trip down the Wye
A wonderful trip down the Wye! Easy to book, calm and organised, given good instruction before getting in the water. Very straightforward and enjoyable. A great day out, very well priced.

The team was helpful
The team was helpful, patient and informative. The two brothers that run it are cool headed, which makes for a more human experience. We will be back.

Top people and great day
Thank you sooo much for a really special day of activity with my son. We were delighted with your relaxed and supportive attitude and canoeing together amongst the ducklings and on the beautful rive Wye was such a treat. These guys know exactly hwo to set things up for success: plenty equipment, friendly and knowledgeable staff and we had great advoce about how to link in with another group who were on the Wye but with a different hire company. Simple and so enjoyable. We will be back

Great adult family day out. Friendly welcome, well organised, no hanging out, appropriate safety briefing. Head wind made for a good work out at times. Worth having the dry clothes… easier to capsize than you may imagine!

Amazing experience
Amazing experience. The instructors were really helpful and very polite. The route was picturesque and luckily the sun was shining all day! Highly recommend this experience. Lovely day out.
