Pick-up guys were both polite and respectful to me throughout process and I sincerely appreciate that.

What made this a disappointing experience is the lack of care in handling the donated items. I expressed this to the movers and Habitat team. I neatly bagged/ labeled/cleaned items, even included screws & assembly manuals but there seemed to be very little care to keep furniture clean and parts together (I picked up screws/pegs dropped all the way down stairway), plus scratch/dents put on wall. Unfortunately, what I thought would be a donation of very well cared for items for another family’s use definitely felt more like a trash pick-up (i cringed to even see a Got Trash? truck used as the mover of non-trash/cloth items). This lack of care along with being left with items (mattresses) that were supposed to be part of pickup but were left due a new $100/ea disposal rule) was all a little discouraging since I now have to come up with more money to discard.

Donation was not at all what I expected it would be. I like Habitat for Humanity as a charity and appreciate the pick-up team for their patience, but I highly likely won’t recommend or donate good items to/thru their Restore again in future with the current donation process in place.

Service was fast and efficient.

Oscar and Tristan where very fast efficient and personable. Oscar even reduced the total pick-up because I had erred on the size of some items.

I wasn't clear on the cost of the service. the driver got me to sign and was leaving without making that clear. At that price I would deliver the 4 pieces to Goodwill myself. There's no chance I will use you again.
