My experience with RentX
I had planned a weekend in north Albania and my car broke down in the last minutes; I didnt know what to do because I had aleeady planned and reserved everything. My cousin suggested me to rent a car via RentX app as he had heard it was easy and convenient and guess what?…..it really was!!! The app is very easy to use, you can find a variety of cars to choose from, whenever you need wherever you need it.
I am so satisfied with everything including the communication with the costumer! I’d totally suggest to anyone who needs to rent a car for their trip and not only.
I guess next time when I need to rent a car I won’t stress out anymore because I already have the solution xp

They were kind and helpful
They were kind and helpful. Communication was easy and they reacted to my messages fast in each case.
Unluckily, they did not have time to clean the car, since the switch was instant, therefore it was really dirty. That is why it is only 4stars.

Great experience

The car was really bad.
We were disappointed with the condition of the vehicle, as several issues affected our experience:
0. The car was manual, but we order automatic.
1. The car could not be locked using the remote control.
2. There was an unusual and constant noise coming from the lower part of the car while driving.
3. The tire pressure was very low, approximately 1.4–1.5 bar.
4. The airbag warning light was constantly on.
I expected the vehicle to be in proper working and safe condition, and these issues caused inconvenience during our rental period.

Svar från RentX Albania - Rent a car in Tirana Airport & more.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for sharing this feedback.
RentX is a car rental marketplace with over 200 partner rental businesses in Albania, and vehicles are provided and maintained by the rental companies themselves. Receiving a manual car instead of an automatic, along with the mechanical and safety issues you described, does not meet the standards we expect from our partners.
We’ve flagged this case with the rental partner for review. We also encourage you to leave an in-app review and share any additional details via our support chat, so we can follow the matter more closely and take appropriate action.
Thank you for helping us improve the experience on RentX.
Professional members on board
The rent a car company handled our request professionally. Upon arrival to Tirana last December 30 2025, we were positively surprised with the car upgrade we received.
During our next trip to Albania, we will definitely communicate with the same company and we personally recommend it to others.

Everything was as agreed
Everything was as agreed. The pick up area at the airport is just near the exit area, easily accessible. Handing over procedure was short and easy. Rental staff was available for any necessity.
