My complaint about the manager was sent back to the manger. The hotel management can basically do and say what they want with no consequences. The customer service is disgusting. They don't care at all about guest safety. I will never step foot in a hyatt hotel again.

Hostile Profiling and Financial Exploitation: A Warning for Families

I chose the Hyatt Regency Times Square (formerly the Crowne Plaza) expecting the high level of professional service I have experienced at this location in the past. Instead, my family was met with an environment of targeted hostility, religious profiling, and predatory financial conduct.
Upon arrival, I was singled out for a "security" protocol that staff explicitly admitted does not exist as an official property policy. After observing my religious attire (hijab), an agent seized my government identification and removed it to a restricted area for over 35 minutes across two instances. During this window of time, I personally witnessed multiple non-Muslim guests processed at the counter without their documents ever leaving their sight.
While in unmonitored possession of my identification and credit card, the hotel executed two unauthorized charges totaling $1,498.04 for reservations that were already fully prepaid via Priceline. When my husband and I presented physical proof of the original payments, the management issued a material misrepresentation, claiming the booking was "too old" to locate, despite it being confirmed only days prior. Rather than resolving the billing error, the manager mocked our distress and made disparaging comments regarding our "energy".
The remainder of my stay was spent walking on eggshells. I felt completely unable to approach the front desk for assistance, as the environment was one of intimidation rather than hospitality. My sole priority became ensuring the safety of my children until we could safely check out and document these civil rights violations. I have initiated formal proceedings with the New York Attorney General and the NY Division of Human Rights. If you value your privacy and expect to be treated with basic human dignity, do not stay here.
Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay
My wife and I spent a week at the Hattt Regency Kotor Bay expecting a very upmarket experience (based on the room rate), but we were left rather disappointed. The hotel is rather bland and corporate. The location is not ideal - c 10 - 15 min Taxi ride from Kotor old town so not that convenient if you don't have a hire car. Positives - Room was large and clean and the a la carte Lighthouse Restaurant was excellent. Negatives - The main "Blue" restaurant was bland and food pretty basic, The hotel service was not great - poor at addressing issues or responding to us. The hotel got somewhat taken over by two large corporate events during the week with no warning given to us, with the hotel restricting some facilities available to us as these were turned over exclusively to the corporate event guests (with no compensation or goodwill gesture to us for the inconvenience). We paid upfront via Hyatt, but be aware that this hotel charges an additional mandatory "service charge", as well as the usual tourist taxes, on checkout (not withstanding the less than stellar service) - yes it is in the T&Cs but be aware of this extra cost over the headline room rate. Overall we wouldn't recommend the hotel especially given the cost and location.
HYATT STEALS YOUR ££££
I would advise anyone who has stayed at a HYATT to CHECK THEIR BANK STATEMENTS. I had 4 charges - deposit 2rooms and breakfast - they took the money twice!!! So 8 charges - 4 unauthorised. I called to let them know and they said they would refund but still haven’t. They owe me £600! I’m phoning daily so inconvenient I will never stay Hyatt ever again!!

Regrettably, we incurred an additional expense of approximately £100 for an upgrade, only to endure several hours of waiting. The refrigerator in our assigned room was inoperative, and given the extreme heat of the day, we refrained from utilizing it for refreshments. Our initial request for a high-floor room was met with disappointment, as the view was obstructed by a brick wall, prompting a subsequent request for a room change. Unfortunately, the new accommodations also presented the same view issue. We sought to upgrade our room, a process that consumed numerous hours; we arrived around 11 a.m. and were informed that we would receive a notification when the upgraded room was ready. During our time exploring London, we encountered significant delays due to train cancellations, which had motivated our choice to stay at the Hyatt. Despite our anticipation of a call regarding the room's readiness, no such communication was received. Consequently, I initiated a follow-up call, as we could not continue to traverse the city, being residents of Devon. It was during this call that I learned the upgraded room was, in fact, available; had I not reached out, we would have remained uninformed.
After a wait exceeding six o'clock in the evening, we officially checked in at approximately five o'clock. From our position, we had a distant view of Big Ben to our right, which was quite delightful. Upon our evening check-in, I inquired about the possibility of paying for breakfast. The receptionist informed me that the cost would be £28 per person, which I acknowledged as acceptable. Subsequently, the receptionist provided us with a 20% discount voucher to present to the breakfast staff the following morning. This arrangement allowed us a few hours to freshen up and rest.
The next morning, we needed to rise early to have breakfast before departing for the train station, equipped with our 20% voucher. Upon discussing our meal options with the breakfast staff, we learned that the buffet was priced at £28. However, my partner and I opted against the buffet in favor of pancakes for two, accompanied by two servings of tea. The pancakes were priced at £10, while the English breakfast tea was £4.95, leading to an estimated total for our meal of approximately £30. Upon receiving our pancakes, we observed that they appeared somewhat commercially produced—thin and cold—garnished with merely one blackberry and two blueberries.
Both of us were taken aback, given that our prior experience at a breakfast café had provided us with superior quality, freshly made, fluffy pancakes accompanied by a generous serving of fruit, all at a lower price.
When it came time to settle the bill, the receptionist initially intended to charge us for the buffet. I clarified that we had only ordered two pancakes and two teas, and I had previously provided her breakfast colleague with a 20% discount voucher. After confirming that the discount had been applied, she assured us that it was taken into account. However, upon reviewing my account, I noticed that I had been charged the full amount.
The sum charged did not reflect the discount indicated on the invoice, and my bank statement shows a payment of £30.12.
Having previously enjoyed an excellent stay at the Birmingham hotel, particularly appreciating the delightful breakfast provided, I anticipated a similarly exceptional experience at the Hyatt London Embankment. My fondness for Hyatt hotels has been influenced by my father, who frequently resides at these establishments during business trips. However, my experience at this location proved to be unexpectedly disappointing.
An Unforgettable Stay at Hyatt Regency Dubai A True 5-Star Experience
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Dubai from 8th to 15th April, travelling as three families and occupying three rooms on the same floor all thanks to the exceptional coordination and customer service we received from the very beginning.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and top-tier professionalism. The customer service at this hotel is second to none. Every member of staff we interacted with from the reception to housekeeping, from concierge to dining went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, satisfied, and well taken care of throughout our stay.
Housekeeping and Room Service
A special mention must go to the housekeeping team, who did a phenomenal job every single day. Our rooms were always spotless, fresh, and perfectly arranged. Any additional items or services we requested whether extra towels, toiletries, or room-specific needs were delivered promptly and with a smile. It made us feel truly at home.
Dining Experience
The breakfast service at the main restaurant was also impressive. The waiters and waitresses were attentive, polite, and professional, often going above and beyond by bringing freshly made omelettes, teas, and coffees directly to our tables. This level of attention made breakfast particularly enjoyable.
However, we noticed a contrast in service when visiting the 25th floor lounge, where the experience was entirely self-service. While the offerings were still good, it didn’t quite match the personal touch we experienced in the main restaurant. That said, it was a minor difference and did not significantly impact our overall experience.
Exceptional Staff
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to a few staff members who truly made our stay exceptional:
• Pranav: From the very start, Pranav was a rockstar. He helped secure three adjacent rooms for our families, which made coordinating our holiday so much easier. His support continued throughout our stay, especially with the beautiful anniversary setup he arranged for us on 10th April. Pranav is a credit to the hotel and a genuine example of what great hospitality looks like.
• Salma (Reception): Salma’s professionalism and warm presence made all our interactions seamless. She ensured our and day-to-day queries and check out were handled quickly and correctly, always with a kind smile and calm approach.
• Christine (Concierge): Christine deserves a special thank you for organizing a truly magical anniversary celebration. She arranged for our room to be elegantly decorated, with flowers and a card placed perfectly on the bed, and provided a custom anniversary cake and fresh coconut just as I’d requested. It was an unforgettable night for us, and her attention to detail was outstanding.
We also had a light-hearted moment when we requested a message on our cake to read: “Happy Anniversary with a love heart shape (❤️)”. In addition to drawing the actual heart shape, someone wrote it literally as “with a love heart shape,” which gave us all a good laugh and became a memorable and funny story that we shared with the reception and concierge teams.
Overall Experience
Overall, our stay at the Hyatt Regency Dubai was nothing short of fantastic. The level of care, attention, and comfort provided made this holiday one to remember not just for us but for all three families travelling together. The staff are the real gem of this hotel, and we left with full hearts and wonderful memories.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai whether you’re travelling as a couple, a family, or a large group.

The worst 5star hotel I have ever stayed in ! And 5 star it is not. Food poisoning, sharp practice to extort money, the list goes on.

Volgende dag eerst gechat, Hyatt kon niets vinden dan maar weer gebeld en de prijs was ineens 30 à 40 euro duurder. Volgens de klantenservice zijn prijzen dynamisch! En helpen? Ho maar! Ik heb vroeger met ontzettend veel plezier bij dit hotel gelogeerd, keurig mijn discount gekregen maar dit is wel de laatste keer.

Hotel was nice, however I have money pending on my credit card for a payment when we had already paid the bill when we left. Spoke to reception and sent emails with the only response other than to send me the bill again. Slightly concerning in this day and age therefore have had to report the card as lost and as based in the UK it’s a cost to me to keep ringing - never booking with these clowns again

The housekeeping service is excellent
The reception staff were very helpful
The spa and staff were very good my only criticism was that the jacuzzi was cold for the duration of our two weeks stay.
You have to pay extra if you want to use the spa. They give you one hour complimentary.
The food was average in the buffet
The restaurant staff were clearing your plates away before you had finished or completely removed your food if you had left the table for a second, there were lots of chipped or dirty crockery.
You get one free dinner for a two week stay to dine in one of there better restaurants, when we tried to go the service was very slow so we left.
Hospitality staff were excellent always ready to help.
Overall I give it 3 stars

Lack of Transparency and Disappointing Experience
During my stay at Hyatt Regency Dubai, I encountered issues due to unclear communication at check-in. I arrived early in the morning and was informed that I could only access my room immediately by paying for an additional night, which I declined. Later, I was presented with a "solution," but it turned out to be a suite upgrade for the entire stay at an extra cost, which I only realised after the payment was made.
My refund request was denied, despite the issue arising from unclear communication and misunderstanding. While the hotel did offer a complimentary upgrade for a future stay as compensation, this did not address the core problem.
I recommend that future guests carefully review all charges and agreements before signing, especially if communication is not entirely clear. This experience did not meet the standards I associate with Hyatt properties.
Friendly Staff and Service was Great
Stayed for a New Years Eve Party. The room was clean and the price was reasonable. I would recommend staying here for any future trips at the Hyatt Regence Hotel in Phoenix.

My bedroom was excellent house keeping was was fantastic bathroom 10 out of 10 breakfast full English amazing dinner margarita the bar I mean most testing selection I can imagine overall blown away customer service skills certified.
First impressions soon led to disappointment
Hotel had recent referb and first impressions looked good. Entrance and atrium looked good and comfortable. Offered free bottled water. Room was ready for occupation. Room was large and well appointed but had limited power sockets or usb to charge phones and other dependent appliances. Only a couple of usb on one side of the bed plus a couple in the radio but nothing on the other side usb or power to plug in watch and phone.
A request for additional clothes hangers and added milk was acknowledge by front desk but nothing arrived.
No bathroom items other than soap.
No restaurant only simple snacks and coffee takeaway. Room service ordering of breakfast proved a disaster. Lukewarm food in a paper bag with disposable silverware. The 73$ charge for eggs for two and coffee was reduced with 50$ refund when questioned.
Takeaway lunchtime snack soup and a sandwich. Soup lukewarm and when returned to server to ask to microwave soup. Had no facility and referred me to reception where I was directed a a microwave in the business centre.
Seems operational cost saving outweigh customer service. Looks good but no substance. Is there a long term future for this facility.
Not a 4 star hotel
I check in August 2024. At reception I was asked to pay for incidentals at 39 pounds. I paid. A week after checking out I noted that my refund was not processed. Contacted them and it appeared no one knew why I was charged. I have had to provide receipts of the money going out but not coming back in. I spoke to a front office night supervisor called Arthur Ventura. He has failed to support me appropriately and then after my second chase up email, he proceeds to ask me why I was charged the 39 pounds, even though this was covered.
This is not managed as 4 star at all. During my stay, shower was coming off the wall and I reported on my first day. This was never fixed until I checked out. Air con was dead, just poor service all round. If I could only get my money back let alone acknowledgement of poor services rendered
