Modi was a great guide! He narrated every aspect of his country with enthusiasm, joy and a big smile always on his face!

We had a great trip in Sri Lanka with our guide, Moditha. He was kind, knowledgeable, and easy to travel with, and we learned a lot from him along the way. He was also flexible with our plans, which we really appreciated, and always made sure we were comfortable.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country, and having Modi as our guide ( and our friend! ) made exploring it even better.

The Guide was amazing, he did an amazing job explaining us all the natural and historical curiosity, answering with a smile at alla the question I asked him. I didn't give 5 stars only because the driver of the bus was absolutely not good.

The experience is exceptional, the tour is well arranged, Sri Lanka is an amazing place, all sites visited with limited time, we observed the nature wonders, temples, historical sites, safari, botanical gardens, herb, sea turtles... Indika and Rediscover Journeys team are super nice, professional and thoughtful.

A great combination of things to do and different sort of adventures.
Gehan was a great guide. Always happy, knew a lot about the land, people, activities and animals.

Gehan from Rediscover Journeys was a tremendous driver, but more than that he became a true friend. Not only was he a skilful driver through the traffic mayhem but he stopped and bought food and drink items important in Sri Lanka in many roadside shops. Very early on he was used to our humour and was at ease with us at all times. Rediscover together with Meraki Travel Switzerland put together a journey with lot variety and a lot of things to experience. Sri Lanka truly is a very beautiful island and country and our private driver Manoj showed us many interesting places and could even add more interesting background with his huge knowledge. He's very customer-oriented and super friendly, can recommend him any time!

We had the pleasure of traveling around Sri Lanka for 14 days with Waruna as our driver, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end.

Not only did he ensure that we traveled safely and comfortably, but he also acted as a fantastic guide throughout the journey. He shared interesting insights about the cities, landmarks, and the rich history of Sri Lanka in a way that made the trip even more meaningful.

Möglich gemacht hat dies das Schweizer Reisebüro Sense of Travel zusammen mit dem lokalen Reisebüro Rediscover Sri Lanka und unserem erfahrenen und sehr freundlichen Guide Silva Chaminda. Wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben und haben sehr viel über Land und Leute kennengelernt. Dank sehr abwechslungsreichen und speziellen Erfahrungen (Kochen bei einem Bauern, tägliches Probieren von neuen Früchten, Dschungeltrekking etc.) konnten wir Sri Lanka hautnah erleben. Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Organisation. Gerne wieder!

We have had a wonderful and well planned vacation in Sri Lanka everything worked perfectly. Especially our chauffeur and guide Sasanka made our experience even better. He was flexible and came with good ideas of other things to do when asked. We saw a lot of things and tasted a lot of different food, that we would not have done without his help. Uzima Travel hat unsere Bedürfnisse gut verstanden und aufgenommen und dann in Zusammenrarbeit mit dem Reiseveranstalter Rediscover Sri Lanka eine tolle Reiseroute für unsere Familie zusammengestellt. Während unserer Reise wurden wir von unserem Fahrer Laleen begleitet, welcher ebenso zu dieser rundum perfekten Reise beigetragen hat. Während der Reise haben wir spontan gewünscht, die Route etwas anzupassen.
Dank der schnellen Reaktion von allen war das möglich und das hat das ganze Erlebnis nochmals eine andere Dimension verliehen. DANKE.

A special thanks to our driver and guide, Jagath Fernando, who was exceptional in every way – highly skilled as both guide and driver, incredibly kind, and who truly ensured we had an unforgettable and wonderful holiday (7-15 July 2025).

Lovely og likeable Indika made a brilliant impression on us (3 adults). He arranged fx a school visit in sigiriya and it was lovely. He was there when we needed ham and never missed an appointment. We stayed in great hotels and we especially liked the silent east coast and Hatton with great the-plantations. He arranged a great trip where we saw a local town in one of the plantations. We went to Pigeon Island and the fantastic Karpaha Sands❤️ The traffic in SL is horrible but not Indikas fault 😉 I will happily recommend Indika and the team behind him.

We traveled Sri Lanka for two weeks with Waruna as our guide. He is a great person with a big smile and warm personality, always eager to do his best. He knew a lot about both the history, religion, plants, animals etc. and would gladly explain.

When we were looking for a specific souvenir, but couldn’t find it, he even got his wife to help us find it, making sure that we were always happy.

We travelled in Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and experienced the beautiful nature and culture in the country. The program was well planned but also with flexibility to include new unplanned activities.
Our guide Samath was incredible helpful and friendly. He offered a fantastic service and organized everything for us. Next time we travel to Sri Lanka we will for sure ask for Samath to join us again as our guide.

Our local driver-guide Sanjaya ensured that the trip went smoothly and included visits to all the places we wanted to stop. This allowed us to focus on experiencing the country. An amazing experience.

Vi var litt sent ute med å bestille ferie i år. Landet på en 12 dagers rundreise i Sri Lanka. Med begrenset kunnskap om landet var det essensielt for oss å ha en privat guide og sjåfør på turen, med god kjennskap til landet, kulturen, historien og maten. Indika leverte på alle områder og var med på å gjøre oppholdet vårt til en uforglemmelig opplevelse. En opplevelse som ikke hadde vært det samme uten. Kan virkelig anbefale både firma og sjåfør. Vi reiste i Juli med følgende reiseplan: Colombo - Dambulla - Sigiriya - Pollunaruwa - Trincomalee - Kandy - Ella - Yala - Colombo. Eirik og Maren

Our trip with Tushara was perfect from beginning to end. He took care of everything and made our stay very comfortable. Tushara is very smart and knows a lot about Sri Lanka. He could answer all our questions, even the difficult ones.

He gave us a great tour in Galle, where we learned a lot about the country and its colonial history. Driving with him was also very nice. We had good conversations and felt safe the whole time.

Tushara picked us up at the airport and stayed with us in Galle and Tangalle. We felt well looked after and really enjoyed our time with him. We would recommend Tushara to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

We travelled as a family with three children (aged 6 to 12) and had a wonderful experience with Rediscover Journeys. Everything worked out exactly as planned – from the airport pick-up to the last day.

Eranga personally welcomed us at the airport and stayed in touch throughout the trip. He checked in regularly to make sure everything was running smoothly and was always available when we had questions or small changes. His support was professional, caring, and very much appreciated.

A special thank you goes to our guide Sunil. He is an experienced and very knowledgeable guide who knows the country inside out. What really stood out was how well he connected with our children – kind, patient, and engaging. The fact that he spoke German made a big difference for the kids and helped them feel more included throughout the journey.

The whole trip was well-organized, family-friendly, and just the right mix of activity and relaxation. Our expectations were fully met – thank you, Eranga and Sunil!
