We came across R&D Vault a couple of months back and decided to have an intro call. All people we engaged (Warren, Antony and Shoayb) were very friendly and the cost structure was clear.
The submission process was smooth. As a company, you are expected to provide some input about the nature of your prospective claim. Their team had a couple of calls with us (briefing, reviewing our input, confirmation, etc.)
We are happy with the general experience.

RD Vault do R&D claims the right way. That makes their costs incredibly competitive. We claimed a large sum through them - successfully.

COSTS. Conventional firms typically charge 12-20% of your claim. So if your claim is six figures you pay £12-20k plus VAT. RD Vault's fee came to less than 2% of our claim.

EFFICIENCY. Conventional firms have lots of meetings where they interview you and ask questions. You then email them files to give them the costs to claim against. RD Vault's process is more efficient. Their software links to your accounting software and allows you to allocate costs to your project. RD Vault also gives you structured questions to help you detail your R&D innovation. That cuts out the inefficiency of the back and forth and crossed wires you get with the process employed by conventional firms.

SERVICE. After you upload the data and R&D narrative, RD Vault review your claim with you to make sure everything is in order. We found their help with this very professional and rigorous. Of course, you have to review the claim yourself to make sure you're happy with the contents, as you would with any such claim.

R&D Tax credit Estimator
We were referred to RDvault by one of the R&D tax credit lenders to purchase their software for calculations and report for claiming HMRC R&D Tax refund. We found very good service, prompt replies, answers to our questions, solutions to our problems while using the software. We found this really helpful specially for companies that would like to claim salary cost for large number of employees. Their pricing compare to the services provided are very reasonable.
