Hello - We have ordered 18 Rapid Radio and we use them on our Church Safety Team, they are amazing we never experience interference like we did when we were using regular walkie talkies. Very easy to use. Any time we have had questions the customer service has been extremely quick to respond. I own my own company Prepared & Ready Safety were I teach Firearms and Medical and have mentioned these radios on my website as well as recommended them during my teaching

Amazing Customer Service
I had an issue this time renewing both my phones subscription. I contacted customer service and got a response quickly. My contact, Patsy, was great and trying to resolve the issue. Once it was determined that she was unable to fix things at their end, she decided to send me 2 new phones at no cost. Her level of communication and helpfulness was "second to none". Thank you Patsy!!!

Took more than a year to get a refund
It took me more than a year to get a refund for a product that does not work in mountainous areas. Same issue as cell phones. They ONLY WORK when each radio is in sight to a cell tower. We live in the mountains of Tennessee. They DO NOT work from the top of our mountain to the base of our mountain 1 mile apart. We have also tried to make them work in other mountainous areas and they did not work, period.

Regarding your refund, our published refund policy allows for a full refund within 30 days of receiving the product. Our records indicate that the refund request in this case was submitted over a year after the original purchase date. Even so, we worked to accommodate your request in good faith and processed the refund in an effort to turn your experience into a positive one.

False advertising
Their marketing is filled with misleading and flatly false information. It is nothing more than a cell phone based walkie talkie that uses cell networks for its coverage. If you couldn't use your phone, these won't work either.

No way to leave a ZERO star review. No monthly service fees - NO Contracts - NO BS. This is a VERY DECEITFUL motto. Radios DO have a YEARLY fee. Which equal a contract. Next will NOT work without paid fee, if cellular towers go down, radio does NOT work. Do NOT buy. Terrible company.
If you buy these you are asking to be screwed.

Great time saver!
We first heard about Rapid Radios from one of our member cooperative managers. We decided to purchase six radios for our field and office staff to communicate when the field staff are in remote areas with no cell phone service. These have been a great time saver so that our field crews don't have to drive to a location to get cell service numerous times while testing meters.

I don't recommend these for anyone who I owns a cell phone cuz cell phones do the same exact thing.
When I paid almost $400 for two radios I was told it was a one time payment without any hidden charges and they work even if cell phones go out. Now suddenly I started getting texts saying I need to pay a yearly fee of $50 for each radio and if cell towers go down the rapid radio won't work. If they were honest and told about these issues from the beginning, they wouldn't have sold so many radios. I for one never would've wasted my money on them in the first place. And I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. And I'm sure this dishonest company will make things right. If they're going to lie in the beginning to sell more radios they are definitely aren't going to do anything now. What a rip off!

Range on boat sucks
They told me these would work up to 30 miles offshore, I purchased for boating, doesn’t even work 15 miles out. Don’t waste your money if that is why you are interested. Also never knew that there was a $50 annual fee, when year is up guess they’ll get 86ed.

RAPID RADIO SCAM!!!
I bought 3 of their 'radios' thinking I could have communication with my family during a disaster. WRONG!!!!
During a disaster, usually cell service is out, and so would be these radios.
Second, they advertise there is NO monthly fees. Well, it's not monthly, IT'S YEARLY!!!!
I tried them before I let my Sim card expire. THE DISTANCE I COULD TALK WAS A JOKE!!!!
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THESE SO CALLED RADIOS!!! THEY ARE LOUSY!!!!!

Love, rapid radio got a couple of them for buddies while we were doing security with different companies that were on the same site as us we now use them just as friends some of them use them still for work. We all have them linked to each other as we have base units handheld love them when we’re out in the woods and have no cell service they come in great.
