I recently visited the Liverpool branch on the off chance of obtaining some Rumanian Lei (RON) just before a last minute trip to Bucharest. As expected the currency was not in stock, but after the gentleman very kindly checked the system, he advised that the Wallasey branch did have some in stock. Accordingly I made the 30 minute bus journey over to Wallasey.
Unfortunately the staff member there was rude, abrupt and dismissive from the outset. She simply said that they did not have any of that currency in stock and refused to even check.
After submitting a complaint, I received a generic copy and pasted reply which confirmed that the currency was in fact in stock, but offered no explanation why the staff member did not check. Additionally it offered no apology for my wasted journey and the attitude of the staff member.
I replied clearly explaining why I was unhappy with this response, but heard nothing further. Tells me all I need to know about this company and how they treat their customers....

Easy to order and pick up

It's very easy to order and normally the best rate around. The staff were very friendly and counted the money out in front of me.

FIRST EXPERIENCE
This was my first visit to a RAMSDENS and it was nothing but positive from entering to leaving. The staff Melissa and Lizzy in the Skelmersdale branch were both extremely polite and helpful. Melissa helped me emensly and explained everything very thoroughly, she was able to answer all my queries and I did not feel as though I was being rushed I any way.
She even helped me download the app so I can manage my travel money card, she even showed me how it works which I found very helpful.
Both Ladies made my visit an absolute pleasure even talking to me about my interests and hobbies.
I will most definitely be recommending it to friends and family. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both.

Simple and easy to order your Euros and ready to collect within an hour of ordering. Staff member was really helpful when collecting.

Easy to order online, great service

Went to buy some currency today from Ramsdens in Whitehaven, and was helped by a really lovely lady called Sarah. Sarah is a credit to the company.

Currency was easy to order online and no issues picking up at shop, staff were very friendly and helpful

Visited the bridges store spoke to a lady called Claire wh was extremely helpful knowing her curencies. I was looking for euros and she recommended the travel card instead which I hadn’t thought of but she explained the benefits of having a card which I thought was great so I will will be definitely go back to purchasing this thanks Claire for your time and explaining this

Must give a big shout out to Kay from the Gateshead Branch, finally got a multi currency card, Kay went above and beyond to explain and advise me on the benift of having a multi currency card, Kay deserves a big pat on the back as i am usually stuck in my ways and don't like to change things, having now got my card i feel comfortable with it and can't wait to start using it

Easy online ordering and pick up, good rates

Ordered online on Saturday was to collect on Friday but the currency was ready to collect on the Tuesday, went instore and was served quickly and pleasant assistant as well.

Quick service, helpful customer service in store

Collected in York with Eddie (?). She couldn’t have been more helpful. Would 100% recommend.
