PMC - Driveline Coverage Poorly Run Customer Service
I have a contract with Protect My Car for 2 years now. Very Very Poor customer service. Every time I have called I am on the phone waiting to connect with a representative for 1-3 hours. Just today it has been going on 4.5 hours still not connected. How can that be, the top executives should be ashamed of themselves for how this business is handled, I guess they don't care, they are taking the monthly payments from customers and they make the big bucks and the poor customer service reps have to deal with the unhappy customers. I have decided to cancel the extended warranty. I have not been able to use it for any reason. They always find a excuse to not cover the pending claim. This is a very bad business!!

I had call uall from the dealership, so did no one answer the phone so I hung up. The service rep Limbaugh Toyota called back and had him on hold so he hung up. And then I called back around 1130 to file an oil change claim. So I was on the phone from 1130 till 310 before somebody picked up and answer the phone for me to be able to file a claim to me that was too long. I think I shouldn’t even have been on the phone no longer than an hour for me to pick up, and that’s my complaint

I have had this warranty on my truck for a while I had the power train coverage… and soon as I filed a claim for my transmission they denied my claim stating too much transmission fluid was in there… mind you I been driving the vehicle for some time and I did not have a transmission issue…I kept the car up.. and sent them proof..,this company is bad business.. no customer service support..you are literally on the phone waiting to speak to claims for hours… I feel that they denied the claim because they truly didn’t want to fix my vehicle!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY I HAVE CANCELLED THE WARRANTY ON ANOTHER VEHICLE IN MY HOUSE HOLD.. also I will be seeking legal assistance

Extremely long hold times
I am going have to agree with the people who have wrote in reviews about the ridiculously long hold times to talk to a representative. I have used the service twice since paying for the service back in 2020 and the repair shop did not have any problems reaching them. My car is in the shop now and they have tried reaching them for now going into 2 weeks now. I do not know what to think. Are they short on help answering the phones? It looks like I am going to have to come out of my pocket to pay for my repairs. Am holding now on the line and has been an hour. Only hear the holding music and the recorded person come in about every 45 seconds to talk about PMC online portal about payment and some other service I do not need at this time.

It's not possible to talk to anyone to submit a mechanical claim... Repair shops stay away...
We cannot recommend this warranty company. It's not possible to submit a mechanical claim online or by phone. We tried for three days in a row to submit a claim by calling 844-256-4762 and waited over an hour listening to hold music before giving up all three times. The photo for the profile shows our third attempt sitting on hold at the 51 minute mark. We work with many warranty companies and this is the only one we cannot recommend in good conscious.

They never answer the phone for oil changes and they have you on hold for hours. Customer service is horrible. Most of the places that accept them never could get in contact with them. They need to upgrade their system.

Do not trust this company they are scammers and do not honor their warranty packages. I had their coverage for 9 months on my vehicle and never had to file a claim. My engine blew in my car and they requested 12 months of service records which I provided because I take care of my vehicle and kicked out over $3,000 in work the last year for new tires, parts and other components. They tried to tell me a oil leak from May of the previous year which was REPAIRED was the cause of the engine failure and since the repair receipt was handwritten by the shop owner they denied my claim. They never called the shop to verify and speak with anyone just denied. What a joke! how can someone with a "engine failure" drive their car for almost an entire year without it breaking down?! Lets be real here. They just don't want to cover the service and repairs which I clearly and utterly qualify for and I will be seeking legal action against them and reporting them to the BBB and FTC.

It’s been a disaster to get In contact with the protect my car guys. About 2 or 3 weeks ago I was in the car shop to get something fixed and wanted to know if it’s covered. At one point one service guy was patient enough to wait for 2 HOURS to get to speak to someone from PMC. The other one was not (I don’t blame him. Neither am I.) When I tried to upload the bill, that function was out of service. How do I know those people are still in business? Customer service used to be easy and good, now after being with them for 5 years it sucks because it’s nonexistent. Will definitely look for another provider once my contract with PMC runs out.
