I received multiple emails from…
I received multiple emails from Progressive Leasing that were written as though I already had an active lease. The emails included lease ID numbers and told me I could “Make a Payment,” view upcoming payments, update my payment method, and manage “my lease.”
Naturally, this concerned me because I did not remember ever agreeing to or signing a lease with Progressive Leasing.
I called Progressive Leasing directly and spoke with a representative, who confirmed that I DO NOT have a lease with them.
That is exactly why I find these emails so troubling. If a consumer does not actually have a lease, communications that provide a lease ID and ask the consumer to manage or make payments on “your lease” can very easily make that person believe they entered into a financial agreement or owe money.
Thankfully, I investigated before clicking anything or making any payment.
I believe marketing should clearly identify itself as an offer, prequalification, or advertisement. It should not make someone who has no lease believe that an active financial obligation exists.
I am sharing this so other consumers who receive similar emails do not panic. Call the company directly and verify whether you actually have a lease before entering payment information or sending money.
I hope Progressive Leasing reviews this communication practice because, regardless of the intention behind it, the wording was extremely misleading and unnecessarily alarming.

90 days
Okay, so i've had four loans with them. Paid off every one of them in the 90 days and now the documentation for my address is a concern. Doesn't matter what I send them it's not good enough. So if they do not make money off of you, they do not want to do business with you. Also I sent the same documentation to them when I first started doing business with them. Just had newer dates.

Terrible customer service. Give you the run around
Zero stars it's terrible customer service. Give you the run around, don't know what they're talking about. Connect you to customer service after customer service. Keep in mind. I have paid them off twice. Never had this problem. All of a sudden, they need all this. Documentation, which make me believe that it's a scam. They ask me for documentations over 3 times every time I call back. They didn't have the documentation, or they needed something else would not. Let me talk to the supervisor made. Excuse for the supervisor do not go to them.

This is the second time I have used progressive leasing and I'm a happy and satisfied customer. I first used them for a laptop, the second time my phone. I don't have the best credit this time around, so it was a pleasure to be able to be accepted as an option. Now, I'm aware the interest is rather high, but pros and cons abound. There was a hiccup with my payments where a double charge occured as well as payment dates, and they managed to settle it quickly and efficiently. This is a wonderful service to have when other options aren't available, as long as you make sure that you have the money for the payments, I say utilize this option!! Make sure to talk to them well before 3 days before the payment is supposed to be posted and it's smooth sailing from there.

Progressive Leasing is a great source to have for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) they allowed me a extension on my 90 days buy out. And allow me a second BNPL AGREEMENT to get more things while yet paying for the first Agreement with a 90 days Buy Out for this Agreement as well.
