Lack of product information on the website - the Maggie lights would have been perfect for the job in hand, but it was not clear until they arrived that a large recess is needed to accommodate the junction box behind the mounting plate which sits flat to the wall. Fine for stooth partitions (i.e. with a cavity) but not so great for masonry walls!

The colours of the batch were mismatched, however Charlotte in the customer support team was so helpful and very quickly remedied the problem. The product is really lovely and good quality. I’m very pleased.

I would like to give a shout out to Megan in Customer Service. I was very excited to order a gorgeous lamp base. Unfortunately after only two months, the film started to come off the glass.
Although I was offered a refund, I preferred a replacement which Megan somehow arranged to have sent to me and the faulty lamp base collected. Thank you Megan!

I ordered this wall light because the style is very complimentary to my furnishings... mostly traditional with touches of orientalism. The antiqued silver also sits well between both gold objects and nickel.. Not quite gilver but not bright and shiny either. The golf ball lightbulbs that I ordered with it are a perfect illumination level for the alcove and are dimmable. I am delighted with the free delivery which was fast and ordering was uncomplicated. All round a very good customer experience delivered by Pooky and it won't be my last!

The new store in Gloucester is great. The staff are very helpful without being overwhelming. Well worth a visit, we were able to find lights easily.

I was pleased to receive my lampshade so quickly, with good tracking as to its arrival time. It was very carefully packaged and in perfect condition.
We are so pleased with our beautiful new silk lampshade which we have used to cheer up a very old standard lamp. The result is superb. It is a gorgeous shade of orange and lends the room warmth and ambiance!

Lovely lamp and I am more than pleased with my purchase. The metal online is described as just gold (its a nice delicate gold and not gaudy) on the actual box this lamp is described as brass. It isnt quite bamboo shaped but it looks nice anyway, the only slight critique I may have it that the last bamboo like segment before the light bulb is not shaped. It is just a gold tube. The metal itself was textured which also added to the charm. I purchased a lampshade from Pooky as well (35cm wide) which is perfectly sized! I I have over 15 shades from Pooky and many more lights and they all seem to be faring very well and look as new years after purchase.

Over the last 12 months we have invested in 7 lights from Pooky. They each come with a rechargeable bulb and a remote control. I love the fact there are no wires involved which means you can put lighting literally anywhere without needing an electrician. I would say a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for, we have no regrets and we will be purchasing from them again.

Well designed lamp with easy recharging facility via usb.
Feels heavy and quality , very neat modular light unit and pleasing bronze/brown finish . Sufficient light power for most purposes , highly convenient to be able to move anywhere as no cable or nearby mains socket required. The Empire shade is well made with interior lining and matches the base perfectly.
The sale price made it an attractive buy.
