Small cooper
The lamps were delivered quickly and well wrapped. They are beautiful. We did have some trouble with the bulb connection in one of the lamps but eventually we got the bulb in and it is working well.

I love lots of things from Pooky
I love lots of things from Pooky, especially their lights and lampshades. I reserve judgement on their dimmer light switches as several don’t work very well and have to be replaced.

Beautiful mini rechargeable lamps
Beautiful mini rechargeable lamps. Less happy with lampshades. The teal silk was very roughly attached to the shade, and I can see the join when the light is on. Not good enough for that price.

The lampshade was a bit smaller than expected and only just clears the “bulb” unit . Would have preferred it slightly bigger . Beautifully made shade though .

The customer support folk are great but…
The customer support folk are great but surely having to use them isn’t the best outcome. Part of the problem was my fault. The lampshade I chose to go with the lamp was not the right choice and the return was far from fuss free. Yodell refused the label. First lot of customer support.
The Gemini rechargeable unit came without charging lead or control. Second lot of customer support. When promptly sent, the control isn’t very responsive and the unit is much less bright than hoped (and needs recharging frequently, requiring removing lampshade etc). It is not bright or strong enough for a floor lamp.
The lamp was assembled by adult daughter who didn’t comment on the bottom being a different colour from the rest. When I was able to pay attention I was surprised. Third lot of customer support.
Can I face returning a heavy lamp or pretend that the two colours are deliberate?
I’ve always fancied a Pooky lamp, daughter has one I covet, but this one is a bit of a disappointment.
Customer service great, not sure the product is quite so good.

Great quality and service
I recently ordered a lampshade from Pooky and I’m so impressed. The whole process was straightforward from start to finish - the website was easy to use, ordering was quick, and delivery was incredibly fast. Even better, it was free.
The lampshade itself is beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. The quality feels great and it’s made such a difference to the space already.

Very disappointed
Having admired the brand for some time, I decided to travel down to London today and visit the showroom in Chelsea. I wondered in full of excitement. Sadly after 15 minutes of walking around browsing aimlessly I was not approached once. I finally asked an advisor sat at a computer for some help but she seemed very uninterested and didn’t even stand up. I decided to leave soon after this underwhelming customer experience and still none the wiser on what products to order.

Difficult returns
Products are mostly nice but returns take long time (in my case it was a month), there is a small window for returning your order and they don’t offer 100% refund for items previously installed even if they are returned not damaged.

Exceeded expectations
These lights remind me of a style popularized by a renowned designer, with the added advantage of being slender and cordless. They turn on and off easily with the remote. The shades I chose look fine with them, and coordinate with the wallpaper behind them for a beautiful effect whether lit or dark

Very speedy delivery
Very speedy delivery, but also their website is very easy to use and it really helps being able to choose the lampshade separately and then being able to see how it looks on the lamp itself.

Pooky Crick wall lights
I bought the Pooky Crick single wall lights in antiques brass. They are elegant and stylish: I love them so much I bought more for another room. I would love doubles and triples but they spread a good even light so there was really no need. I will buy from Pooky again, as the communication and delivery was swift and the whole experience hassle free.
