I was bought a present from this company but it doesn’t fit or really suit me so I attempted to exchange it but it seems they will only exchange items for the same item in a different size or colour! So buyer be very beware! Despite not having any idea what the item is like until you try it on at home, you won’t be able to exchange it for anything else

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr schlecht. Nach dem Waschen zeigt sich, das Kanten und Säume schief genäht sind. Man bekommt die Falten beim Bügeln nicht weg.
Für das sehr hohe Preisniveau ist das mangelhaft. Die Stoffe sind auch eher minderwertige Qualität, zumindest in Relation zum Preis.
Leider haben sich die Mängel erst so richtig nach dem Waschen gezeigt. Ich rate daher von Poetry ab.

They block my sales on ebay so won't be buying from them again.

This company curates mostly Made in China apparel and tries to brand itself as if it's a UK-based designer. Its clothing sizes don't correlate well to US sizing. Every single order is sent "Signature Required" regardless of the package value. They were condescending in their correspondence. Every item I ordered was made in China and huge. I donated the entire order to my favorite charity. PS The quality on several items (cotton shirts) was as a disappointing as the fit. They are not what they're trying to "brand"....

Only customers who appreciate handling refunds/exchanges via telephone calls will enjoy doing business with this company. So the elderly, mainly.

Beyond that, be aware that the sizing info listed on the website is sometimes very inaccurate. So even if you carefully measure yourself to ensure the proper fit you may still get a garment that is hopelessly wrong. If this happens measure the garment you received and check it against the garment measurements listed on the website. If any measurement differs by more than 0.7 to 1.0 inch the garment is technically faulty and you're supposed to get free return shipping. (pro tip: If you want to get free return shipping because you don't like the color or style, it might be worth purposely checking every measurement in the hopes of finding a fault)

I discovered Poetry clothing in 2022 and was very impressed, specially with their dresses. I don't know what has happened this year, whether they have changed designers, but the clothing - specially the dresses, are very oddly cut. You would have to be tall, thin and have perfect proportions - supermodel proportions (as was pointed out in another review) to fit into one. I am 5' 3" and 8 stone with a decent figure. Maybe they have only used the one model to base measurements and shape????? Pity. I bought a lot there last year.

I loved Poetry in 2022 because of the quality fabrics for the summer and design. In fact it was so popular certain summer dresses in certain colours were whisked away as soon as they came online. I hoped Poetry would take the message, but no..none of the popular designs came back this year. Strange. Same in the winter, there was one design of dress which was hugely popular, but no attempt to restock. Again, very odd, especially since the contrast with the rest of the items was stark, all sizes available for ages. Also sizes run huge, even size 6 can be too large. So it is pot luck with Poetry, you either are lucky to find this one popular design in your size or you will never ever see it again. Customer Service go above and beyond, always doing their best. Postage - would be nice not to have to pay postage above a certain amount. Poetry, please pay attention what the clients are looking for and please repeat styles that disappear in seconds, because for frumpy colours and button down dresses, people have M&S which is lots cheaper and not too bad at all.

It’s happened a couple of times now. Poetry haven’t given me refunds until I’ve chased it up with them. Are they trying to hang onto people’s money hoping they’ll forget they sent an item back for a refund? Suspicious!

I purchased a skirt and jumper some time ago from Poetry . The quality was absolute rubbish . The skirt must have been made of the cheapest material and looks like a dish rag . I’ve worn it twice in 2 years . The cashmere jumper looks even worse . I decided long ago not to ever buy anything again from this com. It’s a shame because the designs are very good but the quality is a disgrace. My reason for now leaving this review is because I now find that to add insult to injury I have been inundated with brochures from random companies since I did business with Poetry . Looking at the reviews on here it sends that they are selling customers details on to other companies. Avoid this company

I can only shake my head at this reviews. Everything, and I mean everything! has been communicated clearly before placing an order. My order was on back order, this was noted before the shopping basket and in the confirmation email. And I cannot believe people do not wash their clothes before wearing. I always wash poetry clothes before and I never had an issue. This is a family owned small company so no big suprise sometimes you have to wait for an item, people are too spoiled by big companies.

And data sharing is normal if you do not decline it, that isnt the companies fault if you cannot tick a box.

To conclude, great company, great garments. Would buy again!

I wish I had looked at Trustpilot reviews before. Now I know why I am receiving countless marketing brochures from random companies. Looks like Poetry sell customer details on. I have been buying from them for years but the quality of goods is no longer there. I paid £75 for a Cobalt blue top and on its first wear it transferred a lot of colour to my beige sofa which I can’t get out. When I complained to Poetry I was told it was my fault for not washing it first and that they had stated this could happen! Outrageous! I expected quality for this money and now I read that this has happened to other customers. Another green top bought last month has become a washed out rag after first wash and lost most of its colour. Both tops are now in the bin. Poetry offered a refund if I sent back the blue top. Big deal.Not good enough and quite an arrogant reply to my complaint. I won’t buy from them again. Expensive and not worth the money. Beware

I ordered 4 items as one order that came in three different shipments. There was no communication regarding why the shipment was split. The last item took TWO MONTHS to arrive! There was no explanation or apology for the delay. I had to return some of the items and they didn't communicate receipt of the items. I had to chase them after waiting a MONTH to get my refund. All in all a bad experience. The only thing they are good at communicating about is following up to get a good review. This is the review.

My 1st purchase from Poetry. Although initially I thought the price was high. When I received my purchase I was delighted! The fabric is top quality and is very well made. Unlike others, I found the sizing a bit small. Usually a size 12/14 I ordered a 16 and it fits perfectly. As you he style is supposed to be loose and flowing. I had a small query, which was answered fully and fast. Will certainly purchase from Poetry again! Helen xoxo

Have recently purchased 2 jackets and 2 shirts from Poetry and Wrap. Delighted with the quality, the natural fabric, the tailoring and the fit. These clothes make me feel absolutely great! Beautiful clothes well worth the money, and so well styled. As for the complaints that sizes are too big...the clothes are meant to be loosely cut and hence roomy....just speak to customer services for their advice and pick a smaller size.

Ich habe für meine Tochter eine Jacke bestellt, sie kam pünktlich zum Geburtstag, war aber leider etwas zu groß. Meine Tochter hat sie zurückgesandt und innerhalb weniger Tage hatte ich das Geld zurück. Super zuverlässige transparente Bearbeitung!

So disappointed in the (pricey) clothing I have purchased from this company. Two pieces looked great on the models, but seemed oversized and really frumpy when I got them. I've also come to the conclusion that (some?) organic cotton or hemp mixes can't handle everyday life. I purchased one shirt from Poetry that I wore only once and had to pack it for a move. When I unpacked it, the color/dye on the back of the shirt had worn off! The shirt is ruined. I've had issues with deoderant (clear) sucking the color right out of these organic cotton tops and dresses. I'm done.

I ordered 3 items from Poetry in June, including the same trouser in size 10, but two different colours and leg lengths. One came exactly as described, the other pair were at least 2 sizes larger, with a waist over 80 cm wider, despite being the same UK size. I wasn't entirely surprised, as after ordering I'd read reviews about Poetry. I sent the mis-sized pair back and received a refund.
The reason for this later review relates to another issue flagged up by Poetry customers. I ticked all the boxes on their website to stop being mailed with marketing material, but since my order with them I have been inundated with catalogues from Poetry and a load of other companies I've never used. As I rarely order clothes online, this company are the only possible source.
I thought this sort of information sharing was now illegal. As Poetry seem to completely ignore customers who tick the 'no marketing/third parties' boxes, it is clear they can't be trusted to trade considerately or responsibly, and I can't recommend them.

Recieved my order this morning. I love this company. There clothers are gorgeous. So pleased with my goods. Thank you

Die Preise sind angemessen. Bestellung und Versand sind unkompliziert. Rückfragen und Rücksendungen waren bislang nicht erforderlich.

Fairly poor quality for the price. My trousers fell apart after 2 weeks. Will not be buying again from this company.
